Freshly renovated, spotless property. Enjoyed a restful night's sleep, and the customer service was exceptional. Highly recommend for anyone passing through the town.

Fast food and restaurants up the street. Espana’s seems like the go to place in town.

Great value

First of all the person at the front desk, (presumably the property owner or manager) took one look at my tattoos and said they have no vacancies. “Vacancy” neon lit in the dirty window and all. There were rooms clearly available, rooms with curtains open at 8pm, called afterward and asked, they did. I’m traveling for work, no pets, no kids. Judged. As for the property filthy, clothes hanging along the walkways, garbage littered in the tiny parking lot.

My family and I stayed at this motel for three weeks. During our stay my kids and I would wake up itchy ask over our body. We were getting bite. This motel has a bed bug infestation. They did nothing to solve the problem during our stay. They bevy offered us another room. They never cleaned the room the whole time we were there for the three weeks we stayed there. Since I paid weekly at the motel the said our business was no longer wanted at the motel. When our rent is due to just move out. The whole time we were there they wouldn't offer clean beddings. We never got towels from them. We would ask for toilet paper and they would say they don't have any. So I would go to the store and buy toilet paper. Every day the power would go out in the room. I would come back to the room after being out with my kids for 6 to 8 hours the milk I had bought that morning for my kids had spoiled in the fridge cause the power was out. This had happened numerous times. Not once did I complain until the bites from bed bugs appear more and more after we slept. I had to flip the breaker myself to get the power back on. Everytime we had an encounter with the owners which lived on the property they smelled of alcohol. The husband was drunk everyday. From morning till night. The wife accused me of smoking weed in the laundry room. I don't even smoke cigarettes I sure don't smoke weed. The wife had came into the laundry numerous time when I did laundry and she never said anything or asked if I was smoking weed.

Bed bugs infestation

I stayed there a few times- enjoyed Room, good Cable and amenities, needs new Sheets,Bedding.
Also property needs Ice Machine/soda/snacks.

Location is busy/noisy by Hwy...good access to town and freeway.
They have Laundry available to Guests on Property too.

Nice Room/ Needs New Bedding

In my March, 2012 review of this motel I said that it was clean and comfortable and, though older, was well maintained and comfortable.  Unfortunately, in my February, 2013, stay I found it had slipped considerably.  While the staff were as cordial and helpful as the last time, the room was definitely not as clean or well maintained.  The carpet, especially, was "gross" to say the least.  The coffee maker appeared not to have been cleaned; I wouldn't use it.  The drapes covered the heater/ AC which meant that when engaged they flew out across the room.  Sadly, I'll look else where on my next trip through the central valley.

Can no longer recommend this property

Stayed here when hunting. Found two bed bugs on the sheets in the morning. At least we got a refund, but we can only pray that washing our stuff in hot water and a hot dryer will prevent them coming home with us. The manager didn't want to believe that there were bedbugs, but since we caught them for his proof, there's not much he could say. I hope they get exterminators and take this seriously, because bedbugs are no joke! They're a nightmare if you're part of the 30% of the population that has reactions to their bites (like me), and they're clever little buggers that travel well between rooms.

Aside from the bedbugs, this is your standard roadside motel. No frills. Norman Bates style. Outdated. Shower is hot, though. If you're a hunter, this place is just fine for a place to get some sleep. Just don't say I didn't warn you.

Beware of Bed Bugs!

As a frequent traveler in the U.S. and abroad, I've discovered that the age of a hotel property is not necessarily an indication of cleanliness or comfort.  The Los Banos Motel is the perfect example.  I found this motel to be extremely clean, quiet and comfortable.  The staff at the front desk was very cordial and willing to answer any questions.  The bed was soft as I like it.  Though it doesn't offer a breakfast, for the price offered on line one can easily add in breakfast at one of the nearby restaurants.  The wifi worked well in my room.  I would highly recommend this motel.  Their pet friendly policy was a bonus for me.
