It’s a budget hotel but it’s clean and doesn’t smell bad. The front desk staff  is pleasant and helpful. My room was clean and the a/c worked great! The bathroom was stocked with plenty of clean towels and they even included a shower cap and makeup remover wipe. I haven’t seen those items in a hotel room in a long time. For around $50 a night, you definitely get a quality stay.

Clean and Welcoming

Service is always great and the staff always ensures that we receive everything we need. Should there be a concern of any kind, it is addressed immediately. The breakfast was hot & plentiful. There is no doubt, I’ll be back upon my next visit to Louisiana.

The place to stay with no hassle!

Liked this place.  On check-in the service was very good.  The gentleman on duty was knowledgeable and helpful - checked in 11/18 at around 3PM.  The room was extremely clean, and overall a really good value for the $55 or so that I paid.  

Minor quibbles: 1) They're simply are not enough outlets on the TV Side of the room (none open), so in order to plug in your laptop, you need to unplug something else (TV, Microwave, or Lamp).  2) You can't see the TV from the desk.  Minor, right?

Overall, I give this place a 5 - it's the best place in town, and you'll enjoy your stay.

Clean, Pleasant service, good breakfast, Good Value.  2 Minor quibbles.

The hotel is easy to locate off the main highway. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast is a big bonus and very nice. Thanks to all the staff for doing an exceptional job and being friendly. Especially Ms. Carolyn and K'Rona. We'll be back! We were disappointed that the swimming pool was not open due to chemical imbalance in the water. Better to be safe than sorry. Maybe next time we will get to enjoy the pool.

Pleasant Surprise!

Parking lot lights were not working creating an unsafe condition and worry about vehicle being burglarized. Was given keys to 109, got to room and door was ajar. Went in and one bed unmade. Was then given keys to room 111 but they didn't work. The lock still didn't work after three sets were made  and even employee's pass key wouldn't open 111 or 109 after I had closed it. Tired employees key on room 117 which was listed as vacant but had personal belongings in the room. Finally had to accept room on second floor which I did not want. Pubic hair on toilet seat and water constantly running in tub. Air conditioner would cycle but could not adjust temperature and had to just turn it off in the middle of the night because it got too cold in room. Will not stay there again.  The only bright spot was the diligence of employee Corona, who was very conscientious in her duty.

Beware!

I stayed for the weekend while visiting family. The good: reception were very friendly. I actually didn't mind the free continental breakfast. The room was spacious. The bad and the ugly: Carpet was gross needed to be replaced. Bathtub had mold and stains on it. Then to top it all off I got bed bug bites. I have to say it wasn't worth the 80 dollars a night that I paid for.

Not great

This hotel is extremely rundown.  There was a hole where the fire extinguisher should have been in the room.  The automatic sliding door was not working.  You had to pull on it extremely hard to get it open.  When we tried to leave the next morning it was locked and we had to wait for an employee to open the door for us.  There is NOT a HOT breakfast--it is barely a breakfast at all.  The only offerings were cold cereal and maybe waffles.  The coffee was nasty and cold.  We could not drink it.  Thankfully, there is a McDonald's across the street with a decent breakfast.  Once we arrived home, I noticed our clothes smelled like a musty hotel.  The rooms need serious updating of the shabby furniture.

AWFUL place to stay

Went to check in the manager Connie called us and asked about my service dog for seizures and informed me that I had to have the service dog vest on and have his id which I do I informed her that for service dog there are two questions you ask is that a service dog and what service does the dog perform which I told them she said she would call me back and she never responded as a veteran and a man with a disability I feel that this was wrong what they did the lady at the front desk got us a dog friendly room for us she did great if you go there with a service dog expect trouble from the manager it don't help trying to explain to her the ada laws for service dogs she has no respect for them and veterans she says that there policy is that all service animals must carry a form of ID I asked for a copy of this policy

Called back to the hotel and the general manager left with no phone call back to me for the information about there policy about service animals I could not get any response and no information on who the owner is for the hotel I call for all service dog owners and veterans to boycott this hotel and I've filed a complaint with the American with disability and the veterans administration about there practice
