We stayed at the Royal Inn in Lovelock this weekend (April 30-May 2, 2021). It was a great place. The rooms were very spacious and each room had  a full size refrigerator/freezer. The management was very nice. They have two outside tables with chairs, outside barbeques, laundry facilities, ice machine, plenty of parking for regular size vehicles, black out curtains, etc. The only thing that was a small flaw was the baseboard/plastic in the bathroom was detaching. Everything else was great! We would stay there again. For a small little town without big chain hotels this is the place to stay.

Big Room, Very Nice Management

On our way from California to Utah I picked the Road Inn as our overnight stay to split the long drive in manageable increments. Reno was too close, Elko too far, so Lovelock sounded like a lovely place. 
First impressions matter a lot. After a quick review online I chose the Royal Inn and the owner was most friendly and patient even when calling at midnight to make the reservation. 
Upon arrival, I was greeted very friendly and the room was super spacious and very clean. As non-smokers a smoke free room is important, which is why I intentionally didn't pick a casino hotel. We felt safe, we even went for a little walk in the evening. 
The room/hotel was quiet and we got a great rest. Beds were comfortable and I would definitely stay here again.  Everything worked well and having a full-size fridge helped tremendously as we bring our own food and meds. 
Definitely would recommend the Royal Inn to anyone.

Roadtrip 2021

Great, full kitchen, and clean room, at a good price.  Manager was VERY nice and accommodating, but did not wear a mask.  Also, the heating didn't work as well as we would have liked.  Decent place to stop along route 80.

Great place for the priceAwesome. I was there for a week on a hunting trip full kitchen full size refrigerator nice microwave bathroom very clean tub and shower very nice bed was very comfortable big screen TV great air conditioning carpet and walls very clean. I would highly recommend this to my friends

Awesome

This is a very nice, clean hotel.  It has a very comfortable bed and a full kitchen and bath.  There are no cooking pots, pans, dishes, glasses, or utensils so heads up on this if you plan on cooking.  There is a microwave and coffee maker.  They do supply fresh coffee packs and insulated cups every day.  Very nice, nothing fancy but nice.

A pleasant surprise. Nice room very spacious and very clean.

We drove in about 10:00pm looking for a clean room to spend the night. We had a room with two queens. The room was clean and had a small kitchen which was helpful. The room was quite good size with an  easy chair and a small table and chairs. The managers were very friendly and helpful. The cold breakfast in the morning was pretty sparse considering what we paid for the room.

Clean and roomy

When I checked in the guy at the desk (I think he was the owner) asked me for my credit card etc.  I indicated to him that there was already a pre-paid charge against my credit card for his motel.  He said it was typical when someone booked through Expedia (as I had) and that the amount would be credited back to me.   

Ha! Never happened and no response to my eMails.  I believe I was deliberately ripped off.  I have checked the web and it appears that this sort of thing is becoming more common.  It also appears that the booking agencies are unwilling or unable to do anything about it.  The only option is to have your credit card company investigate and withhold payment.

Double Charged!

Room looked clean enough when we went in. Pulled the bedspread back and the underside wAs not clean. Made us wonder about the rest of the room.  Basic but in my opinion way to expensive for what we got.  Lady in the office was nice
