Unit 113

This review got two stars because you can't not give two stars in Maui, the natural beauty and the beach gets a minimum of two stars automatically in my opinion. However, our stay in this unit does not deserve more than that. When we got to the location on Friday night. We discovered that one of the two rolled up beds was broken, my sister emailed the person immediately and was told that it would take two weeks to replace it. There was no offer of providing a substitute or any other options, so now we were down a bed, and my nephew had to sleep on the floor. 

We discovered the following day that the Internet and the cable did not seem to be working, I emailed the owners again about the bed, and my disappointment with not getting a replacement when the unit advertised as sleeping eight and now we were completely down a bed, I also added the complaint about the Internet and the cable at this time. I never received a response back until the day we left... five days later. It turned out the Internet and the cable did work, the problem is that half of the outlets in the unit don't work, so it was an issue with the power not working and not the Internet. 

We were highly disappointed at the lack of response and follow through from the owners of this unit, we emailed about the bed immediately and the cable and Internet the following day, and did not receive a  response for a week .

The unit is old and outdated, there were wrappers from the previous guests on the floor and the cables and wires for the electronics were clumped together in a knot in a basket under the tv.  The air conditioner is loud and often times left puddles in front of the door where it was located.

Unit 113

We are from the midwest and dreamt of a Maui wedding and honeymoon wrapped into one, just before Covid-19 hit. Our friends had a unit here and said how delightful it was. We took a chance and booked it with them privately. No regrets. From the property maintenance and management staff to the clean pool and grounds, we were taken away by the views and clean ocean air. The waves are fairly constant rushing into the bay. We tried it all on the island that we could afford. Prices are high, but local food trucks, Costco and a discount local rental car company made it worthwhile. The views from the deck and evening sunset are stunning and will forever be etched into our memories. BBQ grill on site to use, and all the utensils and towels and beach gear is in the condo where we  stayed. 2 couples can easily split the rental fee for a week. Whales weren't there yet, but get here by Jan 1 and you will see them for months in the bay.

Maui'd and loving it!

We had a fantastic trip to Maui in early March. The condo was just as described!! Amazing view from the deck. It is in the center of the island so very convenient to go either direction. Only 15 - 20 minutes to Walmart,   The beach access was washed out but only a short walk down to park access so we were able to walk the beach every morning.  It is a long stretch of beach! We did see lots of whales the whole 10 days we were there. We went on an excursion to whale watch thru Pacific Foundation that is right by the Maui Ocean Center and well worth the money! They were very knowledgeable and we were able to see many whales !! We went on earliest time- 7:30. Would definitely stay in this condo again! It had everything that you need- binoculars, beach towels , cooler beach umbrella, all as described! My husband went diving through Dive Maui right at the harbor, it was a little more expensive but the dive crew was exceptional! We also took the Pineapple Tour that was very interesting! Would Definitely stay in this condo again! The place was well maintained, great grilling area and pool!

Awesome condo #307

Review for unit # 303,  drove up to condo and there were homeless folks living in their vehicles, and old couch was abandoned across the street.  Older building, but decent enough. Unit # 303 had an ant infestation, a couple of cockroaches (normal for Hawaii), the bed was broken, the kitchen reeked of Raid, the floor was filthy (socks & feet were dirty after walking), furniture was dated, blinds were broken. People smoking on their lanais even though they are not supposed to. Despite those drawbacks, decent appliances & cookware, the unit overloked the ocean & a 3 mile beach is just a short walk, generally a nice quiet area, however not much around. As renters (on another rental web site) we were not recommended because we asked for the ant infestation to be handled and the box spring on the bed to be replaced. Might consider staying here again, but not in this unit.

Over priced for what it is

We came back to Maui for a family vacation and have stayed in this unit in the past. Unit 108 is simple and kid friendly, and having floor level access is a great feature here. The unit was clean and had minimal supplies like teepee and paper towels which is expected, but utensils and cookware are definitely adequate. Our family was very pleased and happy with the ease of checkin/check out and will definitely look to return soon.

Unit 108 Pleasant!

Condos are well kept. Property managers are great. It's an easy walk to a beach with many turtles!!! It's also convenient to the harbor, great shops and restaurants. We highly recommend it. Beach bum was our favorite place to eat. The aquarium is a must. The humpback sphere was spectacular!!


Great location

We stayed in July 2019. Room 203 was amazing!! The room overlooked the water, we could hear the waves from our room and saw an endless amount of sea turtles during our stay. The kitchen is fully stocked. We bought food to cook and saved money. It also has beach chairs, snorkel equipment, ice chest, towels and so much more. I would highly recommend this and will definitely be back soon.

Amazing Location!

KANAI A NALU #101
This condo is AMAZING!! 
It overlooks the ocean, and is just a few steps from the water. In the afternoons it was very common for us to see sea turtles swimming in the waves. 
The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, allowing us to make our own breakfast (or any meal) at the condo. Every morning we woke up and drank our Hawaiian coffee staring at the beautiful view of the ocean and sunrise behind Haleakalā. 
Perfectly located in my opinion, it's only a 15-20 minute drive from several different shopping areas and so many delicious places to eat! 
The condo was very clean, updated, and already had beach items for us use (a nice touch that saved us on rental equipment.)
Our stay was MAGICAL!! We loved it and you'll love it too! 
10/10 would recommend.

KANAI A NALU #101 is the PERFECT place to stay!

We got a 4th floor unit that has everything you need. Clean and well taken care of.  It’s right on the ocean and you can walk forever on the longest beach ever. We came in March and you can see the whales from your patio. All the units are oceanfront.   The area is quiet, but the marina is right there with shops and restaurants that are within easy walking distance. It’s also very convenient when going out on boat tours. I’d definitely come back to this place. 

Great Condo

We are staying here a month. The grounds are nice and it’s close to the beach, and there is a small beach out front. Great place to whale watch and turtle watch. It’s a nice central spot which makes exploring easier.
