We used the Christmas-New Years holiday break to learn to play tennis, and chose the Bridges Resort for our lessons. As complete beginners, we came in with modest expectations, but the facilities and tennis pros at Bridges were an ideal spot to take on this new challenge.  The courts are easy to access and well-maintained, and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. The tennis pros, Kurt and Dave, were excellent-- patient, supportive and well-suited for players at any level. In addition to the tennis courts, there is a well-appointed fitness room, pool and hot tub, which seemed to be popular, though we didn't use it. We definitely plan to return to Bridges to work on our tennis game....

A New Years Tennis Trip

We stayed in one of the condo's for 1 night. It was a little out dated, but super clean and cosy to stay in! With extra blankets and pillows in closet, we made the bed ready for the cold night to come. The Resort itself has a nice and clean pool and hot tub! It's a quiet and safely feeling resort and we loved it!

We rented a well appointed three bedroom condo at The Bridges. Unit number 52. Tastefully decorated and comfortable furniture. Loved the location. Right beside the third parking lot for Sugar Bush ski resort so easy to walk to slopes or take the shuttle.  We paid 600.00 per night . We wanted to stay at The Claybrook on-site at sugarbush but could not justify paying 1700.00 per night for a three bedroom.  The only negative to The Bridges is the amenities . They are located in a ski and swim club. The hot tub had at least 12 kids and several adults in it. The pool was loud and had minimal areas to sit. The indoor tennis courts were nice but unavailable for use as they were booked . So, stay at The Bridges for location and clean accommodations not amenities . 

Love Sugar Bush and condo #52

Booked a unit for Thanksgiving weekend for the family. We live local so we stopped in for a pre visit to check out the pool, hot tub and rec center. Asked the man at the desk if they ever close the pool? He said no always open. Well that was a lie, The management closed the pool and rec center at 7pm on Wednesday and didn't reopen until Friday morning. I had a condo full of very disappointed children. And the do the same at Christmas. Be aware.

Sometimes you find the most marvelous treats in the most unexpected places. The Cafe at The Bridges resort does a great job with your typical snack bar type foods ... salads, chicken, vege burgers, etc. but it's the desserts they serve at the end of their BBQ nights that'll really be the icing on the cake. Such talent in that kitchen!

The overall appearance of the Bridges has gone from poor to worst over the past year. Many exterior building surfaces have peeling paint or no paint. Some lawn areas need seeding and also grass fertilizer. Back of buildings are in need of brush cutting and some tree trimming. Many of the metal bridge surfaces have not been painted and they are rusting. Both guests and condo owners have complained about the poor general management of the Bridges. The website was not functioning for several weeks. The new website dropped several nice features of the old website. Many owners liked the drop down menu which had key staff members’ pictures and short bios. Several patrons have complained that the Café 1-Love has been a disaster (poor food and poor service) for two years. General management has chosen to ignore the complaints about the Café. Several owners have complained that there is not enough advertising. Kid camp attendance has dropped because parents don’t know that the camps are available. In the past years, when there was more advertising, the tennis program, the kids’ camps, and the Café brought much more money into the Bridges. It is also time to grade and pave all the parking lots. The so called “Hospitality” is nonexistent.

NOT RELAXING / NOT WELL RUN

stayed in a lower unit (79) - 2bed, 1 bath.  the unit was well furnished - but the refrigerator was VERY loud.  also wifi was so slow it was non-functional.
on the positive side - the pool, jacuzzi and tennis courts were all very nice.
the bistro "Bistro 1-Love" was good - but needs more visibility on the website and in the in-room guide.  it was hard to find information about meal times, types of food, etc.
