The pictures are not up to date as the apartment we stayed in was beautiful! We had a bad experience at a previous hotel and lived here. The cleaning lady was lovely and helped us book and get checked in.
Very clean and tidy apartment with lots of towels and other facilities. 
Laundry room available which was very helpful after a long 2 weeks travelling we could wash our clothes.
The dock was beautiful we stayed on the dock fishing and sunbathing.
Kitchen was very well equipped as you would expect in a self catering apartment 
Couldn’t recommend this place enough

Thank you Naomi and William for another wonderful stay! The room had wonderful views out to sea and the short walk down to the beach was very welcome. We loved sitting in the Garden drinking wine as we looked out across this wonderful coast .We’ll be back again next year. Anthony and Lynn

Fabulous stay with wonderful views

It was our first time staying at Belle Vista Hotel. We stayed in the 2 bedroom Octopus unit that had amazing water views from our dining table and the master bedroom. We rented this place with our 2 young boys and friends of ours rented the upper Mermaid unit with their 3 kids. The kids had a blast fishing off the dock and at night the adults were able to enjoy the outdoor common area for some drinks while the kiddies slept. The entire place was clean and had all the amenities needed - cutlery, dishes, coffee maker, full size kitchen appliances, hair dryer, plenty of bath towels, beach towels and sand toys for the kids etc. There is onsite laundry facilities and there was even a playpen and a booster chair available for our little guy to use so we didn't have to bring that on the plane with us!  The hotel is literally steps from John's Pass - a vibrant boardwalk with tons of shops, ice cream parlours and places to eat. It was fantastic with kids as we could walk to the beach, for meals, ice cream treats, souvenir shopping and to go watch the dolphins and pelicans at the pier. There is a beautiful beach within walking distance and there were plenty of other beautiful beaches within a short drive - we toured much of the area from this great location. Excellent place to stay with friends and family! Will definitely be staying at Belle Vista again soon! Thanks for the excellent location, amenities and service!

Great place to stay with friends and family!

This was my first time staying at Belle Vista and Rooms are pleasantly decorated, plenty of towels, pillows, and blankets are provided in rooms. We had a slight air conditioner problem with a slow start by the management to fix however they came through in the end, they even put us my in another room while the repair was being made. Important things to know about the property: The coin laundry on sight is hidden around the back side of the building and its cost to $2.00 to wash and $2.00 to dry, it takes quarters only and there is NO change machine on sight. So bring plenty of change if you forget to bring change at the Johns Pass Information Center in Johnson pass Village, has a change machine and ATM. Don’t forget dish soap that was one item not provided in the kitchenette that provides regular size refrigerator, full-size stove and oven, a microwave, coffee pot, and blender. A few dishes and cutlery. Some cutlery not provided I recommend you bring is wine bottle opener, melon baller. Check in? Well there is No real Office to speak of and we never actually met the manager only spoke on the phone and check in off site. Another issue the trash which is right in front of the gate was overflowing for most of our stay here, but when we did call the management about the trash it was taken care of by the time we came back from our outing. Overall base on other accommodations in the area this one does well on location but falls below expectations. The area competition is making Belle Vista at least for me a good second choice.

convenient and comfortable

I rented this place for our large family..And it was clean and very nice, love the views and watching the dolphins from your living room...But I didn't like was no pool and when we went to do laundry (in the building you pay like a laundry mat) ..It didn't dry my clothes or u would have to wait hours to do your cloths..When u have a big building that can sleep between 30 and 40 people ( with all their units full of people) you need more than one washer and dryer..I didn't come on vacation to wait hrs and in turn with people to do cloths..But other than that ..It was worth the money

It was okay

This place exceeded our expectations! We love the St. Pete Beach area...especially with all of the craft breweries popping up! So, we wanted to do a quick getaway north for an r&r trip. This place made our time here! We were walking distance to Mad Beach Brewery (beer and food to die for)and all of the other great shops in the villagey mall there. Our suite was pristine and immaculate with great views to the water. Everything is thoroughly thought out: we wanted for nothing: plates, wine glasses, great dock to hang out on, nice landscaping. There were coupons in the room for great ice cream at Larry's and literature to help us figure out where to eat while there. We could tell that a lot of thought, care and attention went in to making this the place to stay in Mad Beach! We will be back.

What a great retreat!

My boyfriend and I were visiting family in the area and decided to escape for a little romantic getaway. What a great little surprise! This place was really wonderful

The dishes, plates and mugs were adorable. There is a coffee maker in the room as well as a blender which was great for making smoothies (we brought back frozen yogurt and fresh fruit) 
Very very clean, modern and tastefully decorated without lots of tacky beach decor. 
I rarely write reviews but I think this is a hidden gem and while here try Walts Fish Shack and Mad Beach mini donuts to satisfy your sweet tooth . 
Next trip to visit family will leave 2 days for another escape to Belle Vista
