Short but sweet.  I was out of bed like Christmas morning to watch the sunrise.  Brilliant view.  Kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming.  The end of the long dock offered water deep enough to jump, dive and cannon ball.  I wish we had pictures of my husband and I in action ... in our 70's.  The walk into town was sweet and the town never disappoints.

Best deal in Greenville maine!

We love Chalet Moosehead. We stay there as often as we can, usually for a family reunion  It has always been a beautiful location: a green lawn with sitting areas overlooking lake; lots of beautiful wildflowers and wild life; swimming and fishing from the dock. Since Leslie and Grant bought the property, it is becoming more and more of a paradise. We were very nervous about traveling during this pandemic, but we had already cancelled our reunion in 2020, and Leslie was able to calm our worries and even able to accommodate my recent knee surgery and my sister-in-law, who is wheel chair bound.  The older section of the Chalet is being renovated and I can't wait to return to see the finished product.

Chalet Moosehead Is Our Safe Place

My husband and I stated for 2 days! beautiful  on the water and very romantic.   Very clean which is a 10 in my book.  the owner was a very nice man and the staff were very helpful. The views were beautiful.
we plan to come back.

Absolutely one of the best views available.  Quiet and peaceful yet easily accessible to restaurants and activities.  The room as net needs clean.  Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful setting

The Chalet Moosehead Lakefront Lodging was a great place to stay in the Greenville/Moosehead Lake region. Our room was on the second floor and we had a great view of the lake. The lawn with the Adirondack chairs was a peaceful way to end the day, looking out over the water and watching the sunset. The hotel was close to downtown, restaurants and activities. We can’t wait to go back.

My daughter and I stayed here before our moose safari with Young's Guide Service. The room was great and close to the water. If I had known it was going to be this nice I would have definitely purchased a non-resident fishing license and rented a canoe. Talked with the owner and his wife while they were standing along the edge of the lake and letting their dog swim. They offered lighting a fire for us but we had to hit the hay for an early morning of looking for moose. 
I would recommend this location to anyone in the area for sure.

This was a nice place for our stay in Greenville.  It wasn't fancy, but the room was super spacious and we had a nice balcony with view of the lake.  The bathroom sink didn't have much room if you bring your own toiletries, but everything else was great.
The check in lady was really nice and helpful with some area recomendations.

Nice place to stay in Greenville

The Chalet is where I intend to stay every visit to Greenville. It is well maintained and clean. The balcony room allowed us to just relax and watch nature at it's best on Moosehead. Very sad to be leaving this morning! Try it you'll not be disappointed.

New ownership has only enhanced the experience at this gem of the Moosehead area.  The proprietors are extremely friendly and helpful, and the amenities are first class.  Extremely clean, quiet and comfortable.  This place is great!
