everything clean rooms are all knotty pine, great smell, room clean, some cigarette butts outside room,,no big deal flat screen TV lots of channels good location,  nice people. older style motel, bathroom clean, clean towels comfortable beds, no real issues, will stay again.

We were looking forward to staying here next week on a long planned and carefully crafted itinerary to New England. We try to give our business to "Mom and Pop" small motels and this one had several good reviews. But the owner called us and said he could not honor his commitment to our reservation as he had received a better financial deal to rent all his rooms for a month. We live in a small town and understand the temptation to make the most money you can while you can, but this is still not an honorable decision. Staying here was but one stop in a trip planned to celebrate our 25th anniversary and It has taken us several days to remake our plans, which included some drastic and expensive changes due to short notice. Sadly, this has become the American way: to forgo honor for the almighty dollar.

Reneged on reservation

We walked into our room to a very strong fragrance like they had sprayed a whole can of air freshener right before we got there. Pulled the blanket off the bed to multiple stains to which we were told was fine. Air conditioner knobs were broken and unit was blowing “cooler” air, but wouldn’t cool room down to which we were told that was how it worked. Under beds, behind TV, under table and behind chairs were all covered in dust. When we tried to leave and get our money back, management gave us a very hard time. Glad we did not stay. Stay away at all costs. Not worth it even at the cheap rate.

Avoid at all costs

Newly renovated rooms!  Reasonable prices.  Charming decor with new floors and beds.  Would definitely go back in the summer time!  Has in ground pool and basketball court.  Easy to locate.   GREAT WiFi!!   Pleasantly surprised!

Charming Budget Motel

We are normally leery of small Motels because you never know what you're going to get. This place totally surprised us! We had read the reviews and almost missed out because of it. We were so surprised to find the room extremely clean, staff so helpful. The price is incredible for what it is. I've stayed in 4 stars that weren't as clean and attention to detail as this one was. The next morning we were surprised to find a car problem. The cleaning staff and owner immediately came to our aid. He even called a local business and got us fit right in. The cleaning manager went to her vehicle and donated something for the car. I have never seen kinder hearted New Yorkers! They stopped everything they were doing to make sure we were taken care of.

I have stayed there many times for many years, and it has always been very good.  Joe and his family and staff have always been polite and professional, the room has been clean and I have never had a single complaint.
