Came for the Bluesapalooza and really enjoyed the area.  The condo was spacious for 3 of us with a queen bed in the loft with its own bath and two twins downstairs.  Only problem was the slow draining tub/shower and they really should throw out the shampoo etc. after each guest, gave it a cheap feel.

Roomy and comfortable

Disappointed In the unit we stayed in.  The cleaning needs to actual be done. I.e vacuuming, sweeping, cob webs.  Termites in the pile of stacked wood in the living area next fireplace. You could actually hear the termites.  N9 screen door on the slider for breeze from the living room to the back porch.  Upstairs tenanr had TV radio on loudly until 2am.  I called management and the man I spoke to about noise said to call the police.  (I did not and would not) .  just a little common courtesy would of been nice. The termites were supposed to be taken care of and still were not. The mess from the termites still on the carpet.  It was a good location but needs help and attention.

Unit 8

The location is easy and close to Main Street and the complex is well kept and quest.
Our biggest complaint is that the bed in our particular condo was horrible and super saggy.
There is a clubhouse with a hot tub, plenty of parking, and once inside you don't hear much of the traffic.
The views vary from condo to condo but we had a lovely view of the mountains from the loft bedroom.

Cute condos - we had a bad bed 

We stayed the week before Christmas with 6 people. It was as expected (yes, dated, old but they have done some remodeling). The condo was actually better than I was expecting based on pictures. One major issue I had was the bed! It looked new, but it must have been the absolute cheapest mattress they could find, it was really difficult to get a good nights rest on.  For what we paid (5 bills a night) I would have liked to get a better a nights rest. The only good thing about the bed was it had a mattress heater. We were in the bottom bedroom, but the people in the upstairs bedroom also said their bed was awful. Wifi was too slow to stream any of my movies, but they do include netflix ect, and really I wasn't there to watch tv so that is ok.

#38 Great, except beds

My family and I have been going to Mammoth since about 1968. The last 22 years or so we stay at MVV same unit every year. I think it's # 38. The location is perfect for practically all ages. The older kids can get up in the morning and walk down to the village gondola and be off for the day boarding. The non skier- boarders can do the same for free and it drops you off in front of the kids ski school. Sit back drink a beer eat a burger and watch the kids waddle around. Note, Mammoth ski area closes the village gondola a week or so after spring break. FYI, save your self some time and rent your stuff , buy your lift ticket right there by the gondola. Anyway's back to the condos. I beleive they are mostly 2 bedroom lofy units. But some are studios, not many I think. The club house is fundamentally clean with coin op washes/ dryers but the hot tub has always been a little nasty but never kept us from apres ski fun. The steam room usually is out of order, but I think it was working this year! The condo itself is rather basic. Years ago I realized that this is not a mountain cabin. It is a winter ski condo not a great summer get away. The kitchens are "beach style" small but workable. The two rooms down stairs cozy and the loft room orr master fine for people that came to ski or board. Overall, we have had years of family fun at MVV!
