We stayed here as 2 couples. We had the bedroom with en suite and other couple had the twin room and used the main bathroom. Facilities in the house were excellent for self catering. Had practically everything. We were #28. Beautiful view from the living room/balcony. Spacious. Well equipped. Good location though car needed. Lots in the town, shops, supermarket, eateries, bars. Loved our visit. Cools down substantially after sundown so the log burner was used every night. Cosy place. Loved it. 

Lovely townhouse

My family and I stayed at Meadow Ridge Townhomes at Mammoth Lakes on our trip over the western states. Our unit was #29. Clean rooms, comfortable lounge with a fireplace, amazing view and sorroundings.

Quiet and charming

We have stayed in Meadow Ridge #19 several times and for several seasons and expect to keep coming back. Plenty of space for a variety of groups, cozy and comfortable,  close to the Eagle lift, and the free shuttle stop is just out the driveway. The view is wonderful, even in blizzard conditions. Just a great condo for all seasons.

Winter Wonderland

Really enjoyed our 5 days here.  Lovely balcony for breakfast. Poor look inviting although did not use it as although we stayed here unexpectedly as Yosemite was full. We drove down to Mammoth lakes via Lake Tahoe. It was a beautiful drive and once in mammoth lakes there was a lot to do before we left to visit Yosemite. My family hired mountain bikes on the mountain and took them up to top in a cable car. They had a lesson in the car park prior to this with an instructor and he guided them down the mountain! There is even an easier ladies lesson that ends in the Sushi bar! Went canoeing, hiking and of course visited Yosemite. Awesome time in this beautiful part of the world.

Beautiful views, lovely townhouse, saw  a large bear and 2 small cubs. AMAZING!!

I have been coming to Meadowview Ridge #3 for over 10 years, and it is still a time machine.  Until recently, it had been four years since I went to Mammoth (no snow), so I was anxious to see if the place had changed.  To my surprise, it was exactly like I remembered it, which is good in some ways. 

The good: it is a large property, with two bedrooms, each with a full bathroom.  Both bedrooms are on the large side, and the in-wall heaters work great (once they get going).  In the main living room there is a larger heater controlled by a wall thermostat.

The bad: it was built in the 70's, and there have been no upgrades.  I believe a DVD player makes it a bit more current, but there is no internet of any kind.  I'd forgotten that I used to bring my work computer with an air card, so unless you have Verizon, don't expect much of a cell signal either. 

The 46 steps up to the property can also present a problem if you are lugging a lot of snowboarding/ski gear.  Sure, when you first do it, it doesn't seem bad, but try it after a long day on the hill and you will definitely feel the burn.  Again, I'd forgotten these minor points, and was absolutely thrilled that one place on the planet had not changed.

Conveniently located down the hill from Canyon Lodge, it is also fairly close to the Main Lodge (relatively speaking).  The kitchen is well-equipped, the washer and dryer are very convenient in the unit, and as a comfortable, familiar place, I always make Meadowview Ridge my first choice, despite the fact that it could really use a facelift.

My Home Away From Home in Mammoth

We book a unit here for mid June 3 months a head of time. Looked great by pictures. don't trust the pictures. 2 Days before arriving just happened to check their website to see it need to bring a hair dryer. At that point found out having construction at the whole complex. Web site management did not have the consideration to call us and tell us these facts. State we posted it on out website. Who really looks at a website after you booked. We it got worse when we arrived for check in at 4 pm. Using their electronic lock code not keys and walked it to The Smell. All four of us looked at each other and said this doesn't look like the pictures. Turned the corner and found NOTHING CLEANED beds not made and food all over the kitchen. Called the management and their answer well cleaning crew must of just missed this unit. I don't take my years vacation for sorry we forgot. Their offer well was cleaning crew can come by in 30 minutes and wave the cleaning deposit. To say my wife and I were LIVID is a understatement. We went down to Mammoth Reservation Bureau who found us a great place at Mammoth Green unit 208 for only $15 more per day. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

We stayed here after reading terrible reviews for a local hotel we were due to stay at, fortunately I was able to cancel without penalties.  We did think that this was quite pricey for a 2 night stay (almost $700) but you do get your own space and convenience of being able to self cater.  The home is a little tired (number 35 a 3 bed, 3 bath unit) and could do with a bit of redecoration but this did not in anyway affect our stay.  The upstairs has very comfortable seating and the fire made it very cosy, if we ever come back to Mammoth we would definitely look to rent again.
