I have stayed here a few times. It works for staying a night or so. No breakfast or coffee. Rooms are ok, safe parking as they were putting up lights last time. There’s a little picnic table in the back, you can smoke or talk back there. 

Ok enough hidden away gem.

The place did not look like much from the outside, but the staff was really friendly at check-in. Our room was spacious with two beds, flat screen TV, microwave, small fridge, air conditioner, padded chair, and an extra chair. The bedding was comfortable.

There is a large parking space around the exterior of the main building. Access and parts of the second level are closed off with only access to these rooms were via the front desk area.

There is a vending machine, soda machine and ice machine. Coffee is available in the lobby in the mornings. Prices were a little high for the basic room, but due to late reservation and dynamic pricing we paid more than we would have normally for this type facility and room if booked in advance. Still it was a good stay, just book well in advance for the best and most appropriate price.

Spacious rooms and staff

We got a huge room that was very comfortable.  It included a sleeper sofa, an eating area along with a desk, and a refrigerator and microwave.  What it didn’t include was a coffee pot.   They do have coffee in the lobby, but no breakfast.   The manager did say they were working on adding it.   The king bed is very firm.  The only negative was the pillow.   It was the hardest pillow I have ever tried to sleep on.  Would stay there again, but will bring my own pillow.   

Pleasantly Surprised 

This might not meet everyones high expectations but it was good for me. The staff was nice. I would give it a five star but there is no pool, they are short staff so i dont think they liked that i needed more towels or they were checking to make sure i didnt lie about how many people i had but thats understandable but just because i require alot of towels dosent make the place bad, my kids use alot. and the beds werent special soft but they where sleepable. The place was good for what i payed, so I was happy. Ive paid that price and got alot worse. The place was alos cleaned and smelled fine to me.

The owner said visitors were permitted until 10p. When I was in the middle of unloading my luggage the owner's wife ran down the sidewalk yelling at me. I checked in with myself,  my boyfriend and my 10 year old daughter. My 16 year old niece helped us unload.  The owner's wife was yelling because there was another "adult" present and lied about it being a fire code violation.  They also denied my request for the air conditioning to be turned on - this is Texas. They proceeded to argue with me about my visitor. I had to demand a refund. The facility [lobby and room] stank of stale cigarettes and urine. The appearance of the property was poorly maintained. They were unjustly disrespectful and unprofessional. I will happily pay the $15 difference to stay at the Best Western down the street. I urge any and all potential customers to do the same. Avoid the hassle and lack of customer service.

Worst experience ever .!!! Horrible !!!  The staff was rude and the place smelled of smoke in a no smoke room !!! Rooms were dirty and the beds were not comfortable  !!! Will go somewhere else down the road if I need a room in this area in the future!!!
