I was in town on business. It was clean and the manager was very nice. I would recommend it to anyone. If you use a GPS on your phone, Google maps shows it on the map correctly, but the driving directions take you to another motel! The American Inn is across from the Dairy Queen. I could have driven to a hotel 45 minutes away, but why? This is local, nice, and clean. For the price, you can't beat it. 

Nice place to stay, but Google GPS wrong

The exterior of the motel needed substantial attention.  The room had been remodeled and upgraded.  The results were excellent.  Quite, clean and comfortable room.  Reasonable pricing and served our purpose, good room for sleep and rest.

Room review

Had to stay overnite for work in Natchitoches the next day. A few days before arriving, I checked local hotels in area, because would be close to Many that day. Found good reviews for this motel. It looked old but inside room 118 was as good as described. 1 light out in bathroom, but upon telling Raj, he came by and replaced, bulb and reset router to get wireless up. He was ver-r-y helpful and wants to make sure traveler is satisfied. The parking lot is not to good but will get repaired soon. This is a 1960's motel, but he has updated well on rooms. Shower really nice, new controls and marble shower area *nice*. pressure good. If  you are in area for a stay, the price is right and you have a owner/manager that cares that you are there. This place doesn't look like much but the rooms are clean. The owner was very accommodating and respectful. Rooms are dated but have frigs, micro waves and blow dryers........all in all a comfy refuge from the heat of riding a motorcycle all day!

Deceiving 

Its really too bad you can give a negative score. I never give reviews unless the service/experience is really good or really bad. We checked the reviews on this place and it seemed good and sounded clean. I'm not sure to what standards these people think is clean but they totally missed the mark. We planned a fishing trip the next day and Many, La don't have an abundance of hotels/motels so this seemed like a good option. We pull up and no one at the front desk just a sign that says "knock on room 100 for service" kinda creepy but alright. So we knock on the door and about 5 minutes later a man walks across the parking lot into the office. My boyfriend goes to check us in. We pull up to the room and I go in to do a room check before we even bring any of our things in. I turn on the light and pull open the drawer and the first thing I see is a roach! Second thing, I pull the bed linens down and there is a huge stain and hair in the bed. We agree immediately that we are not staying there. My boyfriend goes back to room 100 to tell him we aren't staying and want a refund. He tells him " no refunds after the first 10 minutes". What kind of service is that?! And who would want to do business with a business like this? Heed my warning..Beware of this place! Terrible customer service and it is NOT clean.. unless sleeping on mysterious stains and strangers hair is your thing.
