This was the most unhealthy place I have ever stayed in.  I would not recommend this to anyone.  The staff was rude, there was a dehumidifier in the room that ran all night and had to be emptied 4 times which means they know the room has too much moisture…meaning there is an issue.  Things didn’t work, holes in the walls, door knobs loose, blinds broken,   For the amount of money these rooms cost - stay somewhere else.  There are too many good choices to pay 5 star prices for a 1 star dive. 

Don’t do it

This property has great potential. Had we been there in better weather, maybe our opinion would be different. Felt pretty worn down and the humidity was not at all controlled in our room. Furniture felt sticky when touched and there was a clump of hair that was not ours in the shower before we used it. It was also odd to us that the walls dividing rooms did not go all the way up to the ceiling. We stayed during unprecedented bad weather. However, we did notice that the clean towels weren't protected from the weather and were wet. One person working restaurant. He did his best as he was the greeter, waiter and cook. Not acceptable to only have one employee to take care of all guests, especially in the morning when a complimentary cooked breakfast is offered.

Has so much potetial

This hotel is 3.5-4 stars. We had a suite, 2 beds/1.5 baths and kitchenette. The space was great. Breakfast is cooked to order and is a nice warm meal. Beach is small but was perfect for our family because we like quiet/calm beaches. Location is nice.

A few cons: check in is 4pm and there is no one in the office before 4, so don't try to get there even a little early. We were never told how we get any cleaning during our week and needed towels. I was able to get some at the office but only after I collected our dirty towels and took them there. Breakfast is not served until 8am. That's fine except our last day, it wasn't open at 8am and I went to the office & the employee got attitude with me. We had a flight out, so her attitude was pretty upsetting. The hotel was also under some construction while we were there, which we were not told about. One day at 3pm, there was a guy pulling panels off our suite and sawing & drilling next to the windows. It was so loud & not relaxing. 


3.5 - 4 stars

The toilet is filthy, water tank cracked, missing light lense in the fan, very small TV. This place is a Rat Role. Only one person to cook and serve breakfast. No light outside the room, creating a huge liability. No maintenance done on the outside of the property. I do not recommend this place at all. :( This is a one star hotel.

Worst place :(

What a lovely getaway! It felt like I was on a secluded island and it was PERFECT! The resort itself is clean, inviting, and the view is breathtaking. Staff is another reason that make this resort what it is. They're friendly, helpful, and prompt with anything. I highly recommend the Rainbow Bend Resort!

Amazing

The experience could not have been more pleasant. It’s a little difficult to find, but then a hidden gem. Get a room facing the water, they are large, very clean and comfortable. The communication from the staff was the best I have EVER experienced. Simply above and beyond. The private beach is groomed and very clean. Breakfast was cook to order! Simply a great visit, can’t wait to go back.

Nice hot tub, comfortable bed, great views, friendly helpful staff, wonderful restaraunt! Free Breakfast from a real restaurant! Try the Sausage gravy and biscuit! Private beach! Our efficiency had everything!

What a great way to Florida!

Staff goes above and beyond to meet your expectations. They  checked in daily to see what we could use, and made sure it was brought in. All the staff was friendly and courteous as well.  . The views of the grounds were picture perfect and property was well kept. My hubby had a blast fishing there,  and  caught several fish.
Our room was remodeled and had everything we needed.  
The breakfast was top notch.  Cooks there were a hoot. A 
Would stay there again in a heartbeat,  and plan on it! It was a perfect relaxing stay!

Very Place … Clean room ( small ant issue) … I wouldn’t recommend staying in rooms 1,2 or 3 their next to the kitchen you can hear all the noise .. We we’re in room 3 … The Hideaway Restaurant was nice food was excellent the Staff was Very Nice as well . it was just freezing in there AC was on way too High .. and you really can’t see the water unless your sitting at a High Top Table .. The Pool area is in need of TLC .. The area is very dirty and dinghy looking , it’s to bad because the area is beautiful around it ..hopefully they address it … I would still go there again because it is nice ..

Address the Small Stuff

It's hard to say which was better, the place or the staff. Everyone was so helpful, giving us advice on things to do and places to eat before they even saw us! The room (suite) was spotless, with so much space and comfy sofa bed too, and a gorgeous wrap around porch. The breakfast was outstanding, the chef being so nice and approachable too. The entire setting was a gem!!!
