Fabulous surroundings and genuine hospitality. Amazing feeling of being hidden away in a little corner of paradise you rarely find these days. Kayaks avaiable (for free). Fresh oranges (and great juicer) when you arrive which really added to breakfast.

Yikes... a little bit of paradise!

Beautiful home on the Ocean, fishing, paddle boarding. Gorgeous Sunset view. Pool overlooking the ocean, with the tropical bird's all over the property. Close proximity to Duck Key and Local Fishing. Kitchen is fully equipped and sun porch with Grill.

It is true, Little Conch Key Cottages were hit hard by Irma.  The ground floor cottages, as well as the office building were completely destroyed, and removed.  What they  have now, is two stilted two bedroom two bath cottages, with pull out sofa sleep that can sleep 6 people in each cottage. What used to be called Ocean View, The Seahorse, and The Horse Conch  Cottage, are fine, and have been booking all season.  The Ocean View Cottages have a spectacular unobstructed  view of the Atlantic, and now since Irma, they are beachfront also, as the small beach front cottages are gone.  Irma brought plenty of sand ashore.  So, bigger beach, more sand, unobstructed view of the Atlantic, same large pool only shared by two cottages now and complimentary kayaks and paddleboards, plus completely new landscaping, and the addition of the pavilion down on the waterfront by the boat basin. Conch Key Cottages are not "recovered" from the hurricane, they like many other places in The Keys are beautiful, but different since Irma.

Beautiful Little Conch Key

My husband and I had booked our cottage the same way we have done in the past.  When Irma hit we know that there would be damage in the Keys.  I couldn't get through on the phone for quite awhile but I realized they probably didn't have power.  When I did get through, a nice man (I believe was Ed?) spoke of the damage.  He had my refund mailed back immediately.  I assured him we would be back when rebuilt.  As we still went to Key West, we stopped at Little Conch and couldn't believe the devastation.  I hope to be back in the near future.

Irma

Our stay at the time in June of 17 was so great we wanted to book again for our anniversary for June of 18. 
However the man who answered the phone was incredibly rude upon answering questions we had, and hung up on us. 
Needless to say we got our reservations elsewhere.

Very nice Very nice very nice

What a nice surprise that this waterfront cottage is. You were looking for a little Eden, you are there. A dozen wooden bungalows nestled by the ocean in lush vegetation. Comfortable and very well equipped, the wooden houses welcome you in a very good comfort. A small private beach, a small swimming pool, quiet, top! The little plus? When you arrive you will find in the fridge small bottles of fresh water and a salad full of oranges from Florida; they will provide you with a fresh and tasty juice using the strawberry press. And finally, the salon of a small breakfast at the oceanfront under the pavilion, an excellent breakfast in the morning.

A little corner of paradise

Son Cabañas are very complete, with a bedroom and kitchen. Serve basic breakfast, there is a small beach and air-conditioned pool. Very good care. Excellent location halfway from Miami a key west. I recommend it.

It's very beautiful.

First of all, Little Conch Key is really beautiful and you certainly didn't do anything wrong with a booking here. Still, there are criticisms that I want to describe here. Our booked housing unit (Coral) was fine at first glance. Still, we have to note that for the price, of course in other places, there is a lot more being offered! The carpet is old and outlined, visible and undisturbed cable (see photo) at the TV, ugly curtains and a lot too small bathroom, unfortunately the otherwise so intimate image of Little Conch Key is clouded. The early delivery is outside and the quality is not above an average motel. Checkout time at 10:00 am! The early delivery time is too early - and the performance ratio here is unfortunate because the atmosphere is difficult to control and the performance is difficult to control.

Good but worthy of improvement

Located on a tiny isot before Marathon coming from the mainland, this hotel is made up of very cozy small individual cottages, well-arranged with everything you need to eat (kitchen well equipped with dishwasher, the inevitable barbecue, etc.). The place is quiet, resting with a small pool (very good for the little ones) and a beach where unfortunately the beach is not very engaging (mangrove). The reception is very cozy and simple, without chichis.
