Don't stay here for any reason. It is a complete disaster in every way. The place smelled the hallway floor was torn up. Overall place was dirty and worn out including bedding and towels.. AC didn't work and made the night unbearable.  There isn't anything nice about it  no exaggeration.

Warning this place is a Disaster 

Made a reservation online while driving during a multi state college tour with my son. Ended up pulling in about 2AM. No one at desk. Had a note saying to call number. Called first time, no answer. Call back, someone picked up and said they'd be right down. About 10 minutes later someone appeared. Room was not as bad as expected until I saw the long hair on my pillow case. Flipped it over after removing it and it's twin was on the other side. Shower was at least hot. Served its 6 hour purpose of a bed, heater and a bathroom.

If you have no other options

My wife and daughter got a room there June 4, 2020.
The vending machines were empty, ice machine empty.
The fridge did not work and the bed was just nasty.
They left and went to a different motel.
Usually Motel 6 locations are great but this one was not.

Just a bad motel

This is no longer a Motel 6. The place is now called the Markle Guest House and is in terrible shape. Plus the guy who appears to be in charge is unfriendly and rude.
We had previously stayed here while visiting our former home and had called ahead several weeks prior to our expected arrival. Reservations guy said no need for a confirmation was necessary as he would remember us. Got there late evening this week, only two cars in parking lot, our driver went in to check in and was told we had no reservation and he had no room available. The old Motel 6 signs have been destroyed.
Ultimately stayed next door at a Heritage Inn and cannot recommend it to anyone. If you are going to this area best find lodging in Bluffton, Huntington or Ft. Wayne.
Markle deserves better. Avoid this place.

Dump run by Grump!

We didn’t get the rooms we requested! No tissues no shampoo conditioner or lotion the shower floor was so nasty I showered in my socks the tv was outdated and didn’t give you the channels advertised most channels were fuzzy overall I will not go back 

Family get away 

This is the absolute worst Motel 6 that I have ever stayed at.  I have probably stayed at 10 - 12 Motel 6's over the years, but this was the absolute worst.  I stayed 4 nights.  I should have known something was wrong when the motel next door had 15 - 20 cars parked outside, but there were only three vehicles (including mine) in front of this motel.  This motel is probably 1/4 mile back from the highway, so you first had to drive on a road that had pot holes big enough to break an axle in which you had to maneuver around to get to the motel.  Then when I arrived at the front desk, I was met (not greeted) by some old sour puss.  I don't remember her exact words, but it was something like "What do you want?"  Walking to my room, I noticed that all the wall paper had been stripped from the walls.  (I later discovered that they were trying to remodel the hallway, but it looked just about as good with the stripped off wall paper as it did with the new textured look.)  The sink, toilet and furniture in the room had flecks of paint on them from the repainting of the room.  There were two thread bare bath towels and a matching set of thread bare hand towels.  I had to be extra careful of not ripping the towels when I washed my hands or took a shower, because they were the only towels I had for my 4 night stay.  In fact, my room was never cleaned, or the bed made or the towels or linens changed during my stay.  See the attached picture of the television in my room.  There was no way to adjust the "purple" picture on the television.  The picture was either very snowy, very purple or both.  The television remote control would hang up after being used a couple of times, so I would have to pull the battery to reset it.  The breakfast area did have free coffee three out of the four days of my stay.  If you needed anything else the vending machine had sticky buns that looked to be less than a month old.  When I checked out the night clerk gave me his best friendly goodbye.  "Thanks for stayin."

I won't be staying here again anytime soon.

Good value for the price we paid. Room was clean...didn't smell bad...bed was comfortable. We just needed a place to sleep for a few hours and expected worse for what we paid. Would stay again. Called ahead to let them know we would be Checking in late w/ no problems.

One of the better Motel6 hotels I have stayed at. Front desk staff was professional and very helpful. Room was clean, nice size with comfortable bed. Shower was large enough for two of you want. Will keep this place in mind when in the area. 

Nice place

We've stayed in many Motel 6's. This one was an average stay. We stopped for one night on our way to St. Louis. There was no one in attendance when we went to check in and had to call out for someone. But he was very pleasant and helpful. Gave recommendations for local places for dinner. The room was clean, beds comfortable. Not sure about the WiFi as we had no need to use it. Only complaint is the condition of the bath towels. I get it that this is a Motel 6 but geez it was like drying off with Brillo pad! And they had a funky odor to them. For one night ok but for a longer stay....not so much
