My family and I needed a quick place to stay for a few hours during a road trip and chose this hotel since it was on the way. WORST MISTAKE EVER! I'm not picky by any means and only wanted a clean bed to rest on for a bit but apparently that was too much to ask for. This is a "one hour hotel" and definitely not family friendly. I was immediately greeted with the strong smell of weed upon entering the lobby. The first room I was put in was dirty, the lights didn't work, the air conditioner didn't work and the freezer didn't work. I kindly asked to be placed in a different room. I was immediately hit with an even stronger smell of cigarettes on the 2nd floor when the elevator opened. The room was even worse than the first. There was mold on the ceiling, the bed linens had stains and hair, there was no smoke detector and the room clearly was not clean. I beleive these pictures speak for themselves. This is the WORST hotel I've ever stayed at. I can't beleive that the health department hasn't shut them down yet. If you are looking for a hotel, your car would be a much better option. STAY AWAY!

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

Nothing worked.  It smelled.  Filthy conditions.  The pictures are very deceiving.  This place should be shut down by the Health Dept.  All kinds of women going in and out at all hours.  The hotel staff, if that is what you want to call them, NEVER came in to clean the room, empty rubbish cans or change the sheets.  Putrid!

Disgustingly filthy!

Stayed again for one week in early October with 9 rooms for business. Love location. Same owner who is very nice and all new staff this time. Fair price on rooms and okay size. Only problem was no abc channel on TV???? And some very rude neighbor s with small unrulely chlidren. No matter how many times complajned the problem was never resolved. Too bad because have stayed here four times and come back here every year. Don't want to change but the rude guests and tv definitely need to be fixed.

This hotel is horrible! The AC was broken in the main hotel. The pictures online r very deceiving and the room was just horrible! Everything was broken and put back together with tape. The sink in the bathroom was an actual kitchen sink, and the refrigerator that was stink and hot was plugged in by an extension cord. Not to mention all the face lifting this hotel needs. The entire place smelled of curry! No matter where u went. Check out the pics below of our actual room. So disappointed and Stink Bugs all in the room! I brought some home with me too in my luggage 

Don’t stay here even to save $$$ 

Husband and I took a disc golf trip to Pittsburgh. Now I have stayed at 5 star hotels and I have stayed at budget hotels. Motel 6 is definitely budget, however it was clean with a nicely decorated room in a nice suburban area with shopping and dining and night life close by. So much better than one of the last budget hotels I stayed at which was the Super 8 in Petoskey  MI. With its horrible manager. The Motel 6 staff seems decent and although I prefer hotels with a little higher star rating I would stay at the motel 6 in Pittsburgh again in a pinch. 

Ok for what it is

The old saying "you get what you pay for" applies to this motel. If you are looking for a friendly welcome this place isn't for you. Too many rules posted. The rooms had an updated look, but the bathrooms could use some work. Not the cleanest bathroom I've seen. Stains on the bed skirt. Old and noisy refrigerator in room.  If you are looking for a cheep and a place to get some rest this is an ok place. Bring your own shampoo. They don't supply any. A lot of options for food around. Was easy to find and easy access to the highway.
