This place was terrible, like something out of a nightmare.  Bathroom dirty and stunk like vomit. The entire space was filthy. The bed had been slept in with black specs all over the sheets and some sort of black skid marks on them. Curtains wadded up and covered in mold. Gross, greasy carpet. I could go on with more but what’s the point. We could not get out of there fast enough. I’m very, very perplexed as to why Expedia would have any association to this awful place.

Never saw any breakfast but I left at 6:30. Bed was like sleeping on the floor! Coffee machine didn’t work but that’s no big deal. Stay could have been ok for price paid except for bed! No restaurant close by. One across the street was closed. Generally felt place was suffering from benign neglect. Everything outside looked shabby. Will not stay here again.

You get what you pay for

The bathroom was extremely moldy in shower, sink, toilet. the bedding and towels were worn out and stained. Overall was not worth the savings even though the location was good. Just very run down and not taken care of. 

Not clean

Have stayed here before and it was fine, but this last time there were issues like dirty towels, dirt in the sheets, and the door lock didn't work. Would recommend checking out the room before paying.

Nice. Clean. Friendly. Accommodating. Nice place with the friendly and helpful staff that took care of our all needs and that made our stay more enjoyable. They were even perfect with their recommendations. What a place!

Good Place amidst Nature.

I got a room on a Friday night last second for $67 after taxes.  You cant beat that anywhere. Staff was very nice. Had Heat full blast, shower,  TV with ESPN. 15 minutes from Charles Town Casino in WV. Worth the money.

One star. If I could give minus stars, it would -3 stars. Horrible place to stay.
Walked in the door: air conditioning unit didn’t work. We figured out what was wrong and fixed it.
Room had a sweet cloying smell. We left the fan running, came back after 4 hours, smell was still there.
Very tight quarters. Less than a foot between wall/window and edge of the bed with AC unit cord lying on the floor. Other side had one foot clearance at the corner.
No fitted sheet on the bed, only top sheet. We had to ask for it at the front desk. Blanket was carelessly thrown on the rack, not folded.
Coffee maker was dirty. Only decaf coffee, no regular coffee, no tea in the coffee serving unit.
Coffee stains on the table where the coffee pot was.
Floor not swept. Unable to walk bare feet in the room.
Faucet did not work. It spewed water at the joint, very little came out of the faucet. The hot water pipes for the shower screamed  a shrill noise while taking shower.
We asked for a discount because of all these inconveniences. We were told, “since the reservation is made with Hotels.com, no discount can be given”.

So many things wrong with this hotel

Not worth the savings!  No water pressure for 6 adults and 2 children who walked all day and was sweaty. Rooms had holes in the bathroom door.  Stains on the wall.  Mirrors had not been cleaned. A sock  and toy was left under the head of the bed.  Hair in the bathroom sink and shower.  Towels looked dirty. The lady had every excuse under the sun why it was that way.

WORSE PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED !! 
Had to wait over a half hour for someone to show up to check us in to our room. There is a phone number posted to call when you arrive that no one answered and a buzzer to ring. finally someone appeared and we ask her if we could check in because we had a reservation.

BED WAS HARD AS A ROCK!

In the morning there was not enough water pressure to take a SHOWER OR FLUSH THE TOILET.. DISCUSTING .  The lady at the front desk offered us a BUCKET TO SHOWER. SERIOUSLY!!   she would not give us our money back for the one night stay.. SHE SAID TO WAS A COUNTY WIDE PROBLEM.  THEY DIDNT HAVE COUNTY WATER THEY OBVIOUSLY HAD A WELL IN THE BACK OF THE PLACE THAT WAS IN DISREPAIR.

HILLSIDE "MOTEL" SHOULD CONDEMMED

I booked this hotel because of the high reviews. I truly don’t understand what those people saw in this. This hotel is the pits. While the manager is uber friendly and accommodating, the room was dirty. Small and dirty. And this is after we waited for the housekeeper to finish “cleaning.” Did I mention dirty?

 I picked up the toilet lid and found black hairs on the toilet seat. The seat was still wet from “cleaning.” Hair was also on the faucet. 

A roach was on the ceiling. We pointed it out to the maid who claimed it was a stink bug. There were plenty of those as well.

It was obvious the tray holding the coffee pot had not been wiped because there were crumbs and hair. A penny and hair was on the floor under the desk. The luggage rack was covered in cob webs. 

And, BTW, although the website and booking.com says there is free breakfast, there is not because of COVID-19. Other hotels are offering boxed breakfast, but not this hotel. 

If you are a hiker, this is above sleeping in a tent.
