This is an ancient hotel that has been updated. The plus side is that it’s been updated, clean and has a fridge and microwave. On the down side room security is a joke! The cheap house locks could be easily popped open with a screw driver and there is latch inside. (See photos). While there is an ice bucket there are no cups! The tv didn’t work so I had to trouble shoot it and hook the cable up correctly to the box, set the up to the correct HDMI and wait for the box to update. Oh, s d watch out for registration websites that appear to be there’s that tack on an extra $100+ for “fees”. Thankfully I was able to cancel. Clean room is the best I can say.

Dirty shower. Desk falling apart. Advertised wifi did not work. Holes in walls and doors. No cell phone service on AT&T or Verizon (presumably not their fault, but beware).

Rude and unhelpful staff both by phone and in person. (They resisted giving additional towels, refused a refund due to aforementioned false advertisement, and were generally unfriendly.)

I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

One of the cheapest motels close to  Boston - for a reason.

It's clean(ish), and has towels etc., but no fridge, no coffee machine, no microwave - and a list of rules, saying what you can't do - including dine/cook in the room, or leave "excessive" amounts of trash.  At 05:00 a.m., I realised why, as all our "neighbours" began firing up their trucks (and a Harley) to go to work.

The advertised 24 hour reception just means there's a box to drop your key, and the coffee machine is available only between 07:00 and 10:00 - and the  snack machine doesn't exist.  Fortunately, the gas station with a Dunkin' Donut is within a 5-minute walk, though you have e to break the rules and bring your breakfast back if you prefer to sit down.

Son's room had a faulty lock, and I waited in reception for 15 minutes for the owner/manager (who appears to live on the premises with his family) to finish doing something on his phone/laptop before he went to investigate.  During this time, my son was stuck in his room.  Without a word, the owner attacked the lock with a screwdriver, put his shoulder to the door, said "see" and left.

I'm sure the "workies" are fine with this place - and maybe they do need to be threatened with the police/fire department if they break the rules, but do NOT book this for a family holiday.

NOT a family motel

I should have read the reviews before I booked here.  While the room was clean and the beds comfortable, there was so much about this hotel that left a lot to be desired. Point 1 - no internet service. 2. No room service except check in. Only one person on duty and expected to do everything. 3. Broken or missing items in room. Towel bar was broker, shower had no shelf for putting shampoo, etc., Shower "stall" had 33 inch wall; shower curtain was barely 30 inches. 4. Doors were so swollen from humidity they were difficult to open and close.

Bed was very comfortable, room was clean, air conditioner worked well.

We booked 3 rooms.  One room was checked in immediately.  The other 2 we had to wait a half hour because they were not ready.  Check in is supposed to be at 2 pm.  This was 3:30 when we went to check in.  Two of the rooms had dead cockroaches - one on the bed and one in the shower.  One room had 2 broken queen beds.  One was practically on the floor and the the other one had a hole in the middle.  Spend the extra money and go elsewhere.  Oh yes, and one room had a desk but when my daughter leaned against it it fell apart.

Do Not stay here

I was traveling with my 97-year-old father. Check in was 3:00 PM. We attempted to check in at 4:15 PM but our room was not yet available. After a one-hour morning run, I tried to take a shower but it was broken. The room did not have a bath tub as an alternative. The owner said he'd send a plumber but we had an appointment to get to and had to forego showers. When I attempted to heat up a cup of coffee, the microwave oven did not work. When I asked the owner for an adjustment of the room charge, he refused. He told me to call American Express.

Did Not Get What I Paid For

On the positive side, the proprietor was pleasant. That said, the place was not clean. A few flies in the room didn't help the atmosphere. Maybe screenless windows were the cause. The fruity smell of air freshener in the room made opening the window imperative. The shower / shower curtain looked unclean enough we decided against showering. The bed covering to protect the foot of the bed from dirt was effective but it was also quite filthy. You really didn't want to touch things there very much. Friends who stayed in a different room had a slightly better setup - maybe more recently renovated. I would not go back, but if you really cannot afford something else, this is passable. There is ice cream next door and a decent Indian Restaurant.

You get what you pay for

The bathtub filled with water while you showered, Roos where dusty. Bedding was noticeably dirty of which when I reported such to the front desk I was told that they only change the sheets, towels once a week and they don’t have housekeeping services. I asked for clean bedding and towels of which I was given. I cleaned the room, changed the bedding, etc of which it should have been cleaned from the beginning.

The front desk clerk felt that it’s ok to sleep in the room the way it was. 

Left the following morning.

disasterous Never again

Towed legally parked car. Owner was rude and said it hadn't been moved for three days and it's my problem and not his. Obviously it didn't "appear" to be moved, since they are there 9-6 and we were working nights. Said he'd do it again. Checked out a night early, probably saved his teeth... Fortunately, the towing company put my vehicle in front and we took back the car without a fee. By the time we returned the police were there with the towing guy demanding his 300. The police told him you'll have to get it from the hotel owner, since he illegally towed it. Instant karma. Spend 10 dollars more and you'll get a much nicer hotel in the area. We have been around Boston for 2 months now and for the same price we've stayed in much nicer and safer hotels without rude owners. Caveat emptor, buyer beware!!!

Terrible, terrible and did I say terrible!!!

Low prices for sure.  Yet the king sized bed was nice and comfy.  The shower was quite strange.  The floor of the shower rocked like it had water under it or it was secured.  But it was a very clean place and conveniently located.
