Lynn & Roger offer their guests more than just accommodation. It's like coming home. The Pleasent Street Inn is the classic new English Inn and very beautifully furnished. Lynn cooks breakfast as if it were for friends. You feel completely at home.

Living in Style and Feeling at Home

We stayed here for one night on our road trip and had a very nice stay.  It was very clean and in a great location.  We were able to walk to the cute downtown area to sightsee and grab some food.  The Inn keeper was very helpful in giving us recommendations as well.

Are on a touring holiday around New England and wanted to stay in the Cape Ann area - especially Rockport, and turned-up without a booking. The hosts are so welcoming and their home is a truly beautiful and a magnificent Victorian era building of exceptional quality. Spotlessly clean, superb beds, and perfectly maintained - with the added benefit of free, good WiFi and parking - the latter being important in this town. Five minutes walk to the delightful town centre with a large selection of excellent eateries, art galleries and small beaches. Nearly forgot the breakfast - superb and changes daily including freshly cooked! As the heading says - why on earth would you stay anywhere else!!

Why would you stay anywhere else in this location!

We wanted to experience an authentic New England Inn. The Pleasant Street Inn delivered in buckets. The welcome was friendly the house and gardens immaculate. Breakfast was communal round a large table with other guests with freshly cooked food and enjoyable conversation. An excellent experience.

Convenient and beautiful Victorian well cared for by its owners. We had a standard room on the third floor that was clean and comfortable. No tv, but WiFi was good enough to watch on our tablet. Easy parking, good breakfast, and just a short walk to town. Would definitely return. 

Pretty grounds and great lication

I stayed in the cottage with my kids. It was cozy, clean and had everything we needed (except groceries of course). Lynn, our host is very attentive and accommodating. Lynn stopped by the cottage twice during our stay just to be sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed (and brought some delicious homemade blueberry muffins). 
Some of the reviews were not accurate and some just wrong. This dad (and kids) thinks the Pleasant Street Inn is one of the most “pleasant” and cozy places I’ve stayed. So much so, we extended our stay. Thank you Lynn and Roger, we highly recommend your fine establishment!

Wonderful!!!

Beautifully maintained and clean, thoughtful owners, lovely front porch to relax, nice breakfast. Hearkens back to an earlier era. If you're looking for a TV in your room, this isn't the place you should be looking for. It's a short walk to downtown Rockport, but its a bit of a hill.

Charming Victorian Inn on a hill

Stayed for a night recently.  Property is very clean and very well-maintained.  Location is very close to downtown, but still very quite peaceful, especially at night.  The grounds are beautiful.  I highly recommend.

Very Clean, Well-maintained

I would recommend the Pleasant Street Inn to all who are interested in staying a lovely, stately Inn run by an exceedingly experienced and pleasant (no pun intended) husband and wife team.  The room was as good as B&B bedroom has I have experienced.  Breakfast was outstanding, with variety and excellent cooking.  My wife and I look forward to going back soon.  The Inn and the surrounding grounds were beautiful.  Rockport MA itself is worth the trip. Five STARS!
