All was well... GREAT! The view. The deer. The peace. The unit. Everything. It was clean and smelled good. Well definitely revisit. 

Wonderful

The unit was very large with two levels. Lower level had a large kitchen, with bar, and a large table that seats 8. The open floor plan included a large sitting area/tv room with a sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman and a vaulted ceiling with fan. The second level included one bedroom with king bed, one bedroom with full size bed and a loft area with 2 single beds. The unit was one of the cleanest and most well-maintained units we’ve ever staying in. 

Large, clean unit with great location.

My best friend and I spent a week here at Mountainside Villas at Massanutten.  I am an RCI owner and I was pleasantly surprised with the condition and amenities of the property.  With nearby wineries, Luray Caverns about 40 minutes away, delicious restaurants and nearby Harrisonburg, we found much to occupy ourselves without using any of the amenities on the property, other than the coffee shop and grocery store.  I look forward to my next stay here with my family.

Lovely time in the mountains

Massanutten Resort provides the vacationer a plethora of activities for young and old in a complete natural environment. From early morning breakfast, nature walks on grounds and at the close by Shenandoah National Park, golf outings for adults, all season water park for the kids, to photo ops of nature, and relaxing by a warm fire, Massanutten brings to life a contrast to the hustle and bustle of daily routines. Rejuvenation at its best.

Nature Trip

Very spacious unit. Had a 2 bedroom used between 2 couples. Lots of room to be together as well as by ourselves if needed. There were books and jigsaw puzzles in the unit (left by others?) which was nice as we had rain most of our stay.

Great week away

These units are quite large.  We love the rustic feel of them.  We have stayed in a few different units on the mountain, but these are our favorite.  Two story, with massive window in the living room to watch all the deer from.  Beautiful area, with lots to explore.

Mountainside Villas

The herd of deer. We’re entertaining.  It snowed around 4” one night.  Beautiful snow scenes.  There was a large woodpecker outside our window every day.  Drove on the Skyline Drive one day.  Had a great week. 

Snow and Deer added extra to week

Mountainside Villas are very spacious and located along the mountainside with excellent views. The units are clean and well maintained. The help desk employees are very helpful and kind. They resolve all issues efficiently and will make sure that the customers are happy with their stay.

We were a little skeptical upon our arrival with the steps going into our unit. Even though I had read the reviews about stairs, I still reserved my week. I’m not at all disappointed. This resort is beautiful!  The wildlife that we see everyday makes it so worth it. Lots of privacy with the woods around us. Inside the resort, we have everything we need. Just like home. Warm and cozy. Restaurants on and off property. Amenities galore. Will return next year. Went on a resort tour and was not pressured at all. Very friendly staff. 

Living in the mountains

the unit was very clean . The unit was very comfortable .The employees made us very welcome. I would recommend them to family and friends. We have been coming to Massanutten for over 25 years and this was the best experience that we have had.
