Wonderful friendly staff.  Clean rooms with  plenty of towels and washcloths. Bed was very comfortable. The hot breakfast was very good. I had no issues checking in. I felt appreciated for my business and refreshed. Great location to the Hoover Met. Plenty of restaurants around the location. Great stay.

Great Stay

Exceptionally clean - from reception to the breakfast area to the room! Beautiful room with 4-star mattress and pillows. Single rate $106 (including taxes/fees) Easy access to I-20 heading east just outside Tuscaloosa, AL; restaurants and gas stations just around the corner from the Inn. BTW, I was a walk-in with no reservation.

Traveling 1-20 from TX to SC Best Place to "Sleep Inn"

The breakfast food wasn’t replenished before the breakfast time was over
There was no security lock in our door
The light inside the shower didn’t work
We had to ask multiple times for adequate towels/washcloths
The Wi-Fi didn’t work consistently
Foyer & entrance smelled like marijuana
Sink dripped constantly 
Toilet didn’t flush 
Vent didn’t work in bathroom

Need a lot of improvement

Came for two nights for a Bama game.  Booked via Agorda -  never again book with them they lost my paid reservation so it was a hassle to get a refund.  First room had several issues- 
1.  Bathroom sliding door doesn’t slide closed
2.  Only a deadbolt lock on door no extra security 
3.  A/c cover falling off
4.  shower door leaks we had to put down towels
5.  toilet seat loose 
6.  When we first came in the lobby smelled damp mildew
*  so we requested another room and the maintenance guy at the desk was like we were putting him out.
Second room-  1.  No light in shower stall
2.  Bathroom fan no cover
3.  Roach ran across nightstand- we got him though.
4.  Breakfast the next day -  pitiful,  very limited food, had to ask for the milk to be replenished so they weren’t attentive. Orange juice was brown.  Eggs and sausage not tasty.  Best thing was yogurt cups.  
First night lady and last day guy were friendly
I shared with the front desk guy at checkout that this was just not what it should be for the double regular weekday price.  He didn’t offer any type of refund just so sorry.

I travel for business and Wi-Fi is a must had I known I would have went to another motel the motel is out of site which I like food and fuel just a block away

This place was very nice. The room was very clean and the lady that checked us in was great. She really helped us out. My dad has a prosthetic and she gave him a stool for the shower. And even made us more sausage when they ran out. This was a way better stay than what we had just come from.

Stayed here while attending Batson's knife event at Tannehill SP. After 3 nights of very little sleep because of a hard bed and Interstate noise,I don't think I need to come back to this motel next year. IF you still stay here,I suggest bringing your own water because our room tap water was terrible. The back door entrance by the pool appears to have a broken lock that has tape around it,leaving that entrance open for anyone to enter the motel at any time,day or night. Definitely not a safe motel at this time. Someone also may want to mop the breakfast room floor.

A shining star here is Adrean,she was very friendly and helpful.

This is by far the worst hotel Ive stayed in while visiting my friends and family in Besemer. There was stains in the pull out couch. There were stains on the seats,the chair, in the fridge, and in the microwave. Then once i pulled the sheets off the main bed There were dead bugs in the bed. Yes dead bugs. The sugar/creamer packet was open and the coffee maker had water leaking from it. Then one of the ACs wouldnt work. Then we realized that the window wasnt sealed all the way so we had to move tk a different room. This us just horrible. The only thing that was good about the place was the sink and the breakfast..

Rooms and Unsanitary

Dirty room (207) Tables bathroom toilet all not clean. See attached example of toilet which I think was cigarette ashes not feces. Still bad.  Front desk was not rude but detached.  Location good.  Decor dated.  Wouldn’t recommend

I stay her a lot just to get away and the staff and owner are always the most polite people you would ever meet. The rooms are ALWAYS CLEAN and well stocked. Breakfast is a  packaged meal thanks to covid but it is very tasty.  The rates are very reasonable. You couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Anyone who says differently must have got caught breaking rules.
 Security is great. Highly recommend it.
