Not sure why everyone is so negative. I got an excellent weekly rate. No charge for pets and most hotels charge $10-$20.00 a night adding ?$70-$140.00 to what other hotel rates for a weeks stay.My dog travels with me. Nice view of a forest from the rooms at the back of the motel. Best of all unlike most motels and hotels on busy roads, this motel is on a quiet road away from busy highways but close enough to stores and restaurants and gas stations and  major highways. I didn't expect carpet or the or the decor of far more expensive hotels. It's quiet and comfortable and that's what matters for a good nights sleep.

A quiet comfortable place to stay and vlean.

There was no smoke detector in the room, literally a hole where one should've been. There were no tissues in the room and the door didn't close right. There were also multiple holes in the walls and ceiling. Found dirty laundry that definitely wasn't ours under the bed. This place is just downright awful. We didn't even stay the second night, we found another place to stay. Definitely do not recommend and will not be coming back.

Not good

This hotel perfectly fit our needs.  We booked two rooms here from 7/22 to 7/25 to stay while we watched racing at Williams Grove Speedway.   We were looking for clean, quiet rooms close to our destination and that's exactly what we got.   We are the type folks who would rather spend our vacation money on activities and finding good restaurants  than booking more expensive rooms and doing less....we are budget people!  We had seen some sketchy reviews from past visitors,  but because the more recent ones were better we booked the trip.  We were pleasantly surprised with the motel.  It's clear that it's been recently renovated.  Wood laminate floors that were spotless, clean bedding on what seems to be new mattresses,  and the tiny bathroom had all new-looking fixtures.  The tub was non-slip which is important to us.  The room looked and smelled fresh.  This is a budget motel so it is not perfect,  there seemed to be a shortage of towels...we noted this from previous reviews and brought some from home,  and the pool was, and is expected to be, closed this year.  However. If you need a clean, safe-feeling budget motel with food and grocery stores within a couple minutes walk nearby, this is the place for you!  Don't be afraid of the old reviews, this place is fine for what it is.  If you're a budget person...go for it, if you are expecting a Hilton experience for $60 bucks...move along,  this is not for you!

So much better than expected!

Going to SC for the winter and hoped to get to the microtel where I stayed over last year.  Couldn't locate it - I see from my old review that I stayed in Carlisle, PA not Hagerstown - wish I had remembered that!  Room is ok but I ended up paying $87 with tax and there are no amenities here.  Rude desk clerk.  This chain is supposed to offer better value - for same or less money I'd be getting a free hot breakfast at the microtel. I suggest you plan accordingly.  It was late so I didn't want to search around so they stuck me on price.

OK, But WAY Overpriced!  Book Elsewhere

I can’t believe I picked this place.  Roof is caving in over several rooms. Rain water flooded my first floor room.  No concern for guest needs. Very dirty. Bugs everywhere.  Moved to three different rooms till something worked.  How is this place still standing or open. Never again.  

Unbelievable 

I wish that I had read the reviews before I booked this room. To say that it’s filthy and disgusting would be an understatement. It’s after midnight I’ve been driving all day and I’m just too exhausted to pack up my dog and look for another place, so I will sleep with my clothes on and pray to God I don’t catch something. On top of that I’m disabled and had requested a first-floor room. I’m on the second floor and the clerk was extraordinarily rude. I’ve had good experience in the past with Motel 6. This is definitely not one of them. Seriously, go anywhere else it reeks in here

Just don’t

On the afternoon of 8/29/2018 I booked a 2 night stay for my boyfriend. I called the hotel to verify and make sure he had checked in since I had not heard from him. And I was concerned that I would lose out on the first night if he didn’t check in. Front desk clerk was very rude and unprofessional and when I told him my card is the card on file for the room he got smart with me and refused to connect me to the room and told me I should know what the room number is. Kept repeating that it was 1:30 am and he wasn’t going to connect me to anyone . I had to call Hotels.com and he was rude to the customer service representative as well! He should not be in front of the public as a front desk agent. Never been treated so rudely at a Motel 6 Hotel!! Very upset!!!! I personally will never stay at this rude motel! I was even going to book a whole week for my boyfriend not after how I was treated when I called to check on the reservation I booked!!!!!

Rude Front Desk Clerk

We were stopping for the night and needed an inexpensive place to rest up for an early start the next morning.  The room was clean, the TV and AC worked.  The king bed was fine and the bath and shower adequate.  Towels a little thin and no Kleenex or coffee maker.  No "free" breakfast either but does anyone think that breakfast is ever really free?  Anyhow there is a Cracker Barrel across the street.  All in all it was certainly OK for an overnight.  Don't be scared away by the bad reviews.   Oh and by the way, smoking and vaping are exactly the same and should not be done in or near a no smoking room.  In front of the room is almost as bad as in the room.

Good deal if not the most delux

This was a night from H*ll
The room stank, the beds were gross, bedding, blanket had cigarette burn hole in. Bugs flying around, bathroom door wedged to the floor, did not open or close I see easily.
Was a huge waste of money.
Front desk manager was of no help to us. Floor above us was so loud. Small children running, jumping in till 1am
We went to office at 10pm and again at midnight to complain and he did nothing to help.
We needed to be awake at 5am. Will never stay here again.
