Owner was very friendly. Stayed one night over holiday weekend to ski killington/Pico. Drapes would not close properly and were hung using zip ties where they were broken. Bathroom was tiny. Tile was all cracked up. Room is waaay out of date. Bed had dirt/crumbs at foot of bed between sheets! Found hair between sheets as well. Water pressure was very low in shower. Wifi signal was very weak and intermittent at best. Cold breakfast only. Overall room felt a dirty.

We really enjoyed a homelike atmosphere and a professional service of the hotel.  Christmas decorations and a very delicious home made dinner made us specially happy.  The staff is always very friendly and ready to help for us and our three children.  Wonderful game zone, good choice of free beverages.

Best place for family Christmas and mountain skiing 

My wife accidentally booked this place for family over the holidays (I had known for years it was a pretty basic place). I had her call back 15 min later to cancel. Staff would not have a discussion on a refund and then hung up on her. 

Do not even think of calling thing place.

Couldn’t even survive booking.

We were coming through Rutland and were only staying for the evening.  The owner of the Pico Motor Inn was terrific!  Very friendly and very helpful ... we really appreciated his attitude and kindness!

If you're staying in the Rutland area or going up to Killington ... the Pico Motor Inn is a great alternative if you're traveling on a budget or want to avoid all the hustle and bustle of the bigger resorts.

Our room was clean and quaint ... reminded me of our visits to Michigan's Upper Peninsula.   And, the location is terrific!!  Basically ... right in the middle between Killington and Rutland!!

Great Location - Budget Friendly - Awesome Owner!

This place is for travellers who are looking for something unique and characterful.  It's not the Ritz but is full of old-world charm.  The owner/managers are pleasant, friendly, helpful and hard working,  Mayur even tuned in the TV in the lounge so that my husband could watch cricket!  Our room was clean and comfy with a huge bed.  There are plenty of things to occupy you in the games room - pool, table football etc - and the lounge looks as though it will be warm and welcoming for winter skiers. Yes, it needs updating but it's great value for the money and we would definitely return.

It was a duke in a jar. There was mold by the bathtub and nail clippings by the sink.  It is an old motel but it could be cleaner.  You could see dirt and dust under the bed where the vacuum doesn’t reach. In certain corners you could see dirt accumulating. This hotel is a classic case of a duke in a jar

A hoopty hotel

One hundred dollars a night. I was expecting more but it was a. run down outdated dirty room. I found curly hair on one  side of my pillow and a long hair on the other side.
The wood in the bathroom was moldy. The curtains were falling off the window and did not provide much privacy.

I turned up the heat up as high as it would go and it was still not that warm.

Terrible 

My husband and I stayed there for 1 night and it was disgusting. It was VERY dated looking and smelled musty. The bedspread had stains on it and when I lifted the toilet seat there was a dead mouse floating in the bowl. It wouldn't go down upon flushing so we had their staff come and remove it. They didn't apologize or say a word to us. If it wasn't so cold that night we would have slept in the car and forget about the $161 we spent on this dump. My husband was so grossed out he slept in his clothes on top of the sheets and wouldn't use any blankets. We left ASAP in the am as soon as the sun came up. We had no intentions of trying the breakfast.

Horrible!

This place is very average with very outdated furniture. It smelled old but good thing I had a candle. Mini fridge and ac did not work. It is a convenient location though. So if you need just a place for a night or two to rest, I would recommend but not if you want any kind luxury. Wi-fi was horrible and I had no cell reception. The best thing about the place is the guy at the front desk was really nice and friendly.

Just average

We stayed 1 night for a week-end.
Dirty walls, table, bathroom.
Enormous yellow stain on the bathroom floor.
Unsafe. We could see throught the front door.
Don't go there, It's awfull.
A big waste of money.
