The hotel seemed clean and they served a nice breakfast.  Would be nice if it extended a little longer than 9:00 a.m.  There were a few things in the room that needed repair. The sink outside the bathroom was dripping and the faucet handle was broken.  Above the bed was a large crack in the ceiling.  And the ac didn't really cool very well so it was hard to sleep.  Around the bathtub faucet was a metal plate that was broken and just spinning.  Small issues except for the ac but when there are so many things needing repair it makes it look like the hotel is not being maintained well.  The lobby is small and the girl at the front desk seemed really bored with her job.  But we would still stay there again because it did seem clean.  Just not in the summertime when you need the ac to work.

Okay experience

I've stayed at a lot of motels and suites across this country and this motel was the best of all. Staff was SO caring and wanted to make sure your stay  was remembered and enjoyed.  During the freeze they brought food for everyone because nobody could leave due to the ice on the road. The rooms were clean, plenty  of Hot water warm rooms, easy to get to everything and shopping is right down the road.  Do make this your place to stay.

Another day on the big road

Run of the mill hotel, rooms average, price average. Breakfast is poor and staff is unenthusiastic.Stay on the area often and would not stay here again. There are better options in the area for similar price.

Hotel really is nice.  Being out the "middle of nowhere" you would expect less, but you don't have to.  

Room was ready and clean.  Housekeeping did an excellent job the next day while I was out.  Everything you expect and more.

Great Hotel in Mexia

The room was nice and clean, continental breakfast was decent, my kids loved the waffles and chocolate muffins. Would be nice to have bottles of water and extra towels in the rooms, but overall a good experience.

Perfect stay!
My assistant said, "Mexia? You DO know that there are only two hotel choices anywhere within 30 minutes of where you're trying to be, right?" When she said the better choice was a "Comfort Inn", my past bad experiences with this brand came rushing back... and I couldn't have been more WRONG. This is a terrific hotel. Modern, crisp, clean. Great evening and morning desk clerks were helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was typical of a this level hotel...but better! The room and bed and pillows (4) were all great. Soft sheets. Mini fridge was good, desk and lighting were good. The in room coffee is "fine", but the lobby's coffee is good. Walk to the Pizza Hut/Wing Stop restaurant. Recommended.

Pleasant surprise! Modern, clean and crisp...

Stayed at this hotel twice in the last month.  It was very good for the size of town.  The staff was friendly.  They did have trouble looking up our loyalty card info.  Breakfast is included which was standard powdered eggs, waffle mix and yogurt.  Very comfortable beds.
