The King Motel is just a $19 Uber drive from Miami airport.  I got there around 9:30 p.m. on September 30th.  The Manager was very professional and friendly and showed me my room.  He even carried my heavy suitcase to the 2nd floor.  The room was very spacious, well kept and clean.  The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was neat and clean.  I had a perfect night’s sleep.  The next morning I walked right across the Motel to the small diner and had a delicious breakfast.  Then I went to the front office  to check out and requested help carry my suitcase down the stairs.  Again, the Manager carried my case down the stairs and waited with me till I got my Uber.  This motel is perfectly located from the airport, it is reasonably priced and I felt completely safe there.  It even provides free parking and I will certainly use it again.

Perfectly located, nice and clean Motel

STAY AWAY, this place is as bad as a disease. We rented two rooms, double beds and both rooms were disgusting. The rooms were very smelly and every single thing in those room was dirty. The bathroom was very dirty, marks of feces was  in that toilet bowl. We were so disgusted we left right after we discovered how nasty the place was. When we call the owner to come see the room, he was very rude and arrogant. We could not believe the nerves of this man, he had no shame. We were very disappointed. Never again.

The nastiest motel room I've ever seen!

As a Miami local resident I’ll tell you there’s no better place! You won’t find a better price or treatment. Mr. Henry and his wife are up early every day keeping the place super clean and tidy. Due to construction in my own place I had an extra long extended stay at King Motel and by the time I left all the staff treated me like family. The rooms are loaded with everything you need and are kept extremely clean. The location is perfect and central to everything, South Beach, downtown, you can literally walk to midtown and Wynwood. There are many restaurants and stores nearby and just about everything delivers or you can walk. As a local I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I had to do it again! The BEST rate, cleanliness, customer service and location!

From a Miami local- NO BETTER PLACE!!

Stayed there one night, I have a big nice room, very clean, quiet and cozy on second floor, free parking.
The owner were very nice and helpful, will stay there again if needed.

Great stay

I ended up here trying to avoid a lengthy overnight stopover and found out everything was sold out in Miami.
I was charged USD 115. The room was clean but it had an awful damp smell.
Can't complaint about the bathroom either but there were only one towel which was almost transparent. 
Around 3am a concert of screaming and moaning could be heard. Damn, I knew I was in a short stay cheap motel it's just that I can't believe I paid $120 for it. 

Expensive room

A very economical motel compared to other accommodations in Miami... the best thing about it are the beds of the rooms, extremely spacious and comfortable.The attention of the staff is regular, lacking kindness and willingness.The location is good with a car; from the airport you can get there in just a few minutes.

Hotel is normal

Recently renovated, this hotel was upbeat for the area. Clean, quiet, modern and affordable. The owners were nice and put our stuff in storage while we wandered. They didn't have early check in so we had to wander a bit.
Overall the area was quiet, the staff were polite and it was comfortable and clean.
Would recommend if travelling on a budget or just having a quick stop over.

Nice motel for the area 

My husband and myself stayed here prior to leaving for a cruise. It was recently redone, nothing elaborate but very nice. However, I left my makeup at the hotel and didn't realize it until i returned home to north florida. We live about 8.5-9 hours from Miami. On a whim i thought to check with the motel to see if i had left it there and to my surprise i had. I spoke with a lady and she stated that it was there and they would be happy to mail it back to me. I got the email address and sent them my information. I paid for the return postage and received my makeup bag priority. Most places probably would've taken the makeup..i had some high priced items in the bag. I however received all my makeup within a few days! Thank you to Mr Henry Patel for being so nice and keeping me informed about my bag via email and phone :)

Super nice owners

If you're coming to Miami and you only have to stay one night, it's a good idea to check in late at night, staff available and friendly, roomy and clean, good value for money, I recommend it.

Position and price

It is useless to walk around: motels with disgustingly yellow and stained sheets, idems for towels, however extremely consumed (lily to the point of not absorbing). To this is added the lack of breakfast, the lack of closet (there was only a niche, but no pipe to hang the clothes), the reception consisting of a cage with glass and grate, old furniture, the fateful promise of nice rooms and the price (217 dollars for two nights in double).
