This place is great! Once we stayed there and a car hit the power lines in town. The hotel put up flashlights and gave us all a discounted stay. We've stayed there several times and it's always been clean. The breakfasts are nice. There's a grocery store next door. The front desk staff are always very nice and responsive. 

We love staying here when we visit our cousins in Napoleon.

My stay at the Super8 in Jackson was by far the worst motel experience I've ever had in my life. So much that I highly doubt that I will ever stay in a Super8 anywhere, ever again. The motel was dirty: linnens were stained and had either cigarette burns or holes from bugs; towels were disgustingly stained and some had old, dried paint on them; the little fridge and microwave were absolutely disgusting!! The TV was a piece of crap that kept shutting off intermittently throughout the day and night. There were several outlets that had black tape over them and they were beyond concerning looking. I'm really surprised the place hasn't burnt to the ground, as long as no one gets hurt, that may very well be the best thing that could happen to this location. The next morning after my first night there, I was woke up to some belligerent guest, literally screaming for a combined total of 30-45 minutes at staff, whom eventually ended up screaming and cursing right back at him. Then as if that wasn't bad enough, just prior to 11am, someone tried to enter my room, which thankfully I had the chain up. I was rudely told that "checkout is 11am and I needed to get out so the room could be cleaned." I politely responded that I was paid through Saturday morning and didn't need anything, thank you. I honestly feel like I should get a full refund for as horrific of an experience as it was!! I am actually thankful that the free breakfast was unavailable due to COVID, because considering the place was infested with bugs, I could only imagine what all bugs would be in or near a breakfast bar. 

DON'T STAY HERE, EVER!!!

This place is terrible. The owner/manager is extremely RUDE. Pay another $25 and go someplace else. I wish I would have checked reviews before booking vs. only looking at price. My mistake and I had to pay the cancellation fee just so I could get the hell out of there.

Do not book here!

Most disgusting hotel we've ever been in. Wouldn't cancel the reservation! After seeing the stains on beding the rotten ceiling over bathtub the dirty floors and the horrible noise when turning on bathroom light. Filth... They at least put us in another room at least the bed was clean. Skirting wadnt and mold was all aroung. We slept and left.

Horrible!

This past weekend hotel stay was extremely disappointing. It was not clean at all. The bedding was dirty, fully of holes and not even neatly made. The towels were dirty. There were cracks in the floor between bath tub and toilet. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet (oblong toilet w/round seat, leaving gap between seat and front of toilet) the bath tub made a sounds like you were going to fall threw as soon as you stepped in and there was an outlet that was burnt and melted which looked like a major fire hazard. When we first arrived we had to wait over 20 mins for someone to come check us in. She gave us one key card and told us not to lose it or let it be deactivated by phone because they refuse to let us in our room in middle of the night if there is a problem. When we asked for a second key card for other adult in room they told us they could only allow one keycard per room.  As of 10am the keycard was no longer working, but check out was 11 (thankfully was of us stayed in room to let other person in)


Worst hotel ever 

very nice hotel and location. friendly staff always there to help. very comfortable bed and pillows. breakfast is very delicious. Coffee was very tasty  and fresh.  best hotel with cheaper rates. definitely recommend to everyone.

Nice hotel with very clean rooms

I have NEVER been treated so disrespectfully in my ENTIRE LIFE!!!!!!! My fiancé and I booked a reservation for this weekend last week and after we already booked our reservations, my grandpa with whom I was very close with passed away making it impossible to even make it up to Michigan. Upon trying to cancel we were told to call back the next day and they would figure something out... Well, WE CALLED BACK only for the lady (THE SAME ONE WE TALKED TO THE DAY BEFORE) to tell us "oops, sorry too late, you called a day late" I tried telling her shes the one who told us to call back and about the death in my family and she took it as far as to TALK OVER ME, YELL AT ME "NO REFUNDS I DONT CARE ABOUT THE SITUATION YOU DONT GET ANY REFUNDS, NO!!!!" AND HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! I TRIED CALLING BACK AND SHE KEPT PICKING THE PHONE UP AND HANGING UP ON ME ONLY TO SAY "NO REFUNDS!" BEFORE DOING SO. My heart is RACING and I'm shaking because of how inconsiderate and heartless someone could be!!! I understand if u can't refund our stay, but for GOD'S SAKE DO U HAVE TO BE SO COLD AND EMOTIONLESS!?!? I WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER FORGIVE WHAT JUST HAPPENED.

Manager is a monster, rude and disrespectful. She argued everything I said ,treated myself and my family terribly. Tried to turn my family away because of a cat and there website says pet friendly with no restrictions. Had to reach out to customer service to get them in their room. Breakfast was nasty as well. Dirty, stuff left out and uncovered, no juice or coffee , milk was warm and it was just gross. 

Manager from hell

The location is close to 94 and 127. Jackson overall is a nice city. The staff were pretty friendly. I did experience a long time waiting for check in and a few issues with the keycard getting in the room. Other than that I would recommend staying here. Not walking distance really to stores or anything but a short driving distance away as well as restaurants etc. 

You get what you pay for. Good location. 

We rented a room on New Years Eve as a special “getaway” with the family. We were charge $30 extra to check in at 1pm rather than the 3pm check in. There were pubic and scalp hairs in the bathtub and there was one bath towel for all of us. There was a woman yelling for a good part of the evening. The refrigerator/freezer would not work. The room had 2 pair of dirty socks and a couple beer bottle caps on the floor when we arrived. The free breakfast area was disgusting. Neither  vending machine would work and the man and wife (owners) were the rudest hotel staff I have ever encountered. I voiced my concerns several times during our overnight stay yet none of them were addressed   There are so many hotel options in Jackson that we will never have to stay here again. As a side note-a friend of mine actually worked at this hotel for about a week and she was treated so poorly that she quit. Ive rated it 2 stars because if you only give one star it won’t allow you to submit your review which I find ridiculous.
