This should be your "go-to" spot while in or around Newport, RI. The accommodations,  whether it's the Lodge or the Cottages, are first-rate. Your hardest decision will be whether you should stay in and enjoy the space or go out to explore Newport! It's in a great location, next to the Newport Vineyard, and close to everything. You'll love it from the moment you drive onto the property.

We'll be back...again...and again!

We stayed here the weekend of our wedding next door to Newport Vineyards and had the best time! We were continually impressed with all of the amenities as we opened door after door and cabinet after cabinet. It was spacious enough for our bridal party to get ready and take beautiful pictures! We were so close to places to eat and explore and anticipated coming 'home' to our suite which felt like a home away from home. Will be back!   

A great getaway!

Great setup. Loved having 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and a fireplace. Very clean. Short drive to Newport attractions. It was a great getaway. Bed was comfortable. TV channels were excellent. Check in was easy. Staff were helpful. Will stay here again.

Nice getaway

I got married at the vineyards next door. Most of my family and guests stayed here and we all had an amazing experience. So much space in the units, clean and staff was very kind. Highly recommend this space. 

Wedding Stay

My wife and I have stayed at East Island Reserve many times and expect to stay many more. It's not a typical 'hotel' you actually get an entire two floor HOUSE, full kitchen with washer/dryer. The homes are beautiful and well maintained and are located driving distance to many tourists areas; beaches, restaurant, Newport, The Newport Car Museum, etc... and it is literally adjacent to a Vineyard! There is also an onsite Spa! My only wish is that you could purchase movies directly from the TV's via Netflix or some other streaming service. I wasn't able to figure out how to stream from my phone or tablet, I think you would need the actual TV remote not just the provided Cable remote.

Repeat Customer

The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Our studio rooms were impeccably furnished and we'd return in a heartbeat. We can't recommend East Island Reserve Hotel strongly enough. And Aggie Cole is a spectacular asset as she made booking and the entire process a pleasure. Can't praise her highly enough, and East Island is lucky to have her.

Lots of comfort to be found here!

We had a beautiful overnight stay in one of the cottages. There is no better place I could recommend for some rest and relaxation. And being right next to Newport Vineyards was also a plus! Fantastic amenities, including a fantastic shower and a super comfortable bed. 

A lovely place to stay! 

The bed and pillows are very comfy and relaxing! The heated floor in the bathroom is fantastic!!! Cottage has everything you need and is nicely decorated. Very close to Newport for dinners and exploring!

The cottage was a perfect place to stay.  It was well equipped.  We love that it is dog friendly.  It was extremely clean and the grounds are kept up very nicely.  It is also in a great location.  We enjoyed that it was two floors.  Plenty of supplies.  Would definitely recommend.

Great pet friendly hotel

Such a nice and homey stay at the East Island Reserve! Went for a couples trip for the weekend and had a great stay. Room and bathroom was very clean, and the mini kitchen area was a nice bonus. It is about 10-15mins away from Newport, and the brewery next door is amazing as well.
