Poor soundproofing so able to hear all the noise on the highway and also in the rooms above and next door. Ok if you have earplugs maybe? Room was clean, bathroom is dated but clean. Ok value for the low cost. Under renovations and so many things may improve as more renovations are completed 

Inexpensive stay as under renovation

After a family member was discharged from University of Utah hospital, I booked a room there for the night before making the 6 hour drive back to Las Vegas. Initially, what caught my attention was the continental breakfast that was included.

We arrived shortly after 7pm and circled around the hotel twice as we could not find the main entrance. From the outside, the hotel looked run down but it could be due to some repairs that were being done at one of the entrances. The lobby was warm as the temperature outside was in the lower 30s. The front desk agent checked us in and sent us on our way.

Upon entering the room, the television was already turned on to Disney Channel. The decor looked nothing like the pictures on their website. It was very outdated with minimal electrical outlet accessibility. We had a mini-fridge and microwave with no outlet to plug it into. The coffee maker sat on the desk and needed to be plugged into the outlet on the hotel lamp (yes, the lamp). The bathroom was an entire different animal. I've never been to a bathroom that did NOT have a toilet paper holder or any toilet paper! I'm not over exaggerating, there was no evidence that a toilet paper holder ever existed in the room. I must say, they did have facial tissue in the bathroom near the entrance of the door. The shower pressure was by far the best! The bath tub was a bit off, it was like standing in a trench. Water would gather on the bottom of the tub instead of making its way to the drain. The bed wasn't that great, but I managed to dose off for a few hours.

Upon checking out the following morning, the front desk agent didn't bother to pull me up in their system. She just collected my room key and went back to her morning duties. When asked where the continental breakfast was located, she advised that they are "pre-packed" and offered to grab enough for my family of 3. She proceeded across the hall to a room and came back with 3 paper bags. Each bag was filled with a juice box, granola bar, and a 2 pack of blueberry muffins. Definitely no bagels, toasts, waffles, or cereal bar like the photos on their website. 

Now...had I read the reviews prior to, I definitely would NOT waste my money on this hotel. Moving forward, I will definitely review the feedback prior to, and recommend you do the same too!

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, READ THE REVIEWS B4 BOOKING YOUR ROOM!

One of the check in personal, when I expressed my concerns , told plain and simple: if you don't like it you can check out.  She didn't offer to review or discuss my concerns, she just offered me to pack out of there . I find that rude . She made me feel unwelcomed 

Budget quality ratio

Dirty rooms , carpets, walls not painted properly, musty smell ,  ac not working , no room service to clean the next day , hard beds very old also

Very old hotel in the middle of remodeling

I was traveling across the US to move to another state. I booked a room here for the night because it had decent reviews and prices. It was a huge mistake. When I got there the outside of the building was dirty and looked like a slum. A lot of homeless people were camping in the parking lot and it made it hard to even find a parking spot. The lobby was dirty and the staff were rude to me when I asked for dinner recommendations in the area. My room was on the second floor and it was disgusting. The room was was large but filled with beat up and scratched furniture that smelled like cigerettes despite it being a non smoking room. The wooden furniture also felt damp. The bathtub was rusted and caulk was peeling away where it was molding. The metal drain in the tub was pulled out and sitting on the base of the tub floor so I couldn't even use the shower if I wanted to. I pulled back the blanket on the bed and found bedbugs near the base of the bed and immediately grabbed my stuff to leave. That's when I noticed the cockroaches by the window sill. They were dead but it was not reassuring to see that. When I went down and asked for a refund I was told it was a clean room and that I could have a different room but no refund. I was definitely not going to stay in another room knowing how bedbugs and cockroaches spread. So I had to not only pay for this room but one at a different hotel.

Beware this place is DIRTY!!

I booked the hotel for two nights. Man checking me in was pleasant. There was hair scattered in bathroom and stains on wall but bed looked clean and floor vacuumed; I cleaned hard surfaces with wipe since it seemed to need it.  In morning TV and microwave did not work.  Microwave repeatedly threw circuit breaker after 3-5 seconds.  Could not make breakfast.   I tried to phone the front desk but phone also was broken.  I called on my own phone.  Front desk said there was no one there to fix the TV or to replace the microwave.  I said if I did not have them, then I wanted my money back.  He said I would not get it all.  He said he was writing the problems down and would tell a maintenance work when one came in, maybe at 8:00 am - it was currently 6:00 am and I had been working on the TV for 1/2 hour by then.   Horrible place.

Broken Everything

The room smelled.  The furniture is ugly and has tape residue on it from where the drawers were taped shut when moving.  one of the light fixtures was practically falling off the wall.  The shower doesn't work. 

Dump in Salt Lake

The hotel is under construction, but they place guests in the partially plumbed/drywalled rooms anyway.  The "working women" use this hotel for their clients.  It is a rough, rough place... one day they will be sued.

The worst hotel EVER!!!

Run down. Rude check-in clerk. No cups, glasses, or coffee maker in room. Stayed there because it was a convenient stop on our trip, but we cancelled our reservation for the return. We would never stay there again.
