All I can really say to sum up my experience up is run to the next hotel! The place was filthy, couldn't even take a shower or bath due to the black slim coming from under the bath mat. The beds were terribly hard, I think a rock would have been more comfortable,  on top of that the beds didn't have proper sheets and the blankets were old and had holes. Everything was just filthy gross right down to the ice bucket. The owner cannot blame housekeeping after the first few bad reviews, the state of the place is the owners fault. With what they charge per night I think they could make  a bigger effort. Seeing how the hotel has been rated a one since 2010 and a slum I don't understand how they have a 3.5 star rating.

Never Again

- Carpet had not been vacuumed.
- Toilet ran noisily all night. Had to turn off the valve.
- Furniture was soiled.
- Light on right of bed had no electric outlet.
- No continental or any type of breakfast available though it was advertised. Only coffee. Posted excuse: Covid...
- Large patches of paint chipped from wall in many places
- Washcloth was grey with filth
- Bed mattress moved extensively when partner moved.

Filthy Room

I had stayed here eight years ago and the place was just needing updated but it was clean. I booked this place again for this year and when I pulled in I knew it wasn’t going to be good because the landscaping was bad and weeds are growing in the parking lot. The little Indian man who now owns the hotel was working and checked us in to our room. The room smelled of cigarettes badly. I went and asked him if he had another room for us, which he did. He was very helpful. The room was a room where he takes a break and doesn’t rent out much. I was looking for the chalk line on the floor… this room was dirty and smelly. The bathroom light fixture was just a bulb hanging from a rusty bass. The toilet had brown stains underneath the seat. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was taped to the ceiling tile. The cars in the parking lot look like a demolition derby had just gone on and I swear I saw a drug deal. There were needles and caps from the needles in the parking lot. I wouldn’t stay here ever again. We left three nights early (it was late when we got in for that 1 night) and got a room in Hutchinson. Shady and creepy

The place you send your enemies to stay

This place should be shut down!  We came in from out of town for a funeral so we were pretty tired when we got into town. The hotel had a somewhat pleasant look when we walked in the lobby. We got checked in fairly quick which was great. That was the ONLY good experience we had with this place. The hallways stink to high heaven with cigarette smoke, the room stunk like mildew and wet dog. The bed was rock hard, and the bathroom floor was constantly wet from the insane amount of moisture in the room. Just when I thought things couldn’t get worse here, I walked outside to find a needle and syringe in the parking lot. No grounds keepers to keep this place picked up and management didn’t seem to really care!

Slum hotel

The hotel itself needs a little TLC, but the staff is so friendly and accommodating it made up for any of the other issues.  We were in Litchfield because of my dad needing rehab and we appreciated how helpful they were and how they helped us with whatever we needed.  Thanks to all of you there!  You made a difficult situation much more bearable!

Friendly and accommodating staff

We planned a 2 night stay for a funeral. The room was not ready when we arrived at 2:30, but staff worked together to prepare it.  Too bad they forgot to dust the bedside table (for at least a week or so).  Due to a problem with pool chemicals the spa and pool were off limits on the first night, but open on the second.  The continental breakfast is best skipped unless coffee and dry cereal is your thing.  The staff was friendly and accommodating.  The stairs to our room were tough on these old knees.

Basic, definitely not fancy, a fair price

This is not a new property, but if you want a clean room at a value this is your place to stay. I stayed here for over a week and was very satisfied. Vicki the manager couldn't have been more accommodating to us and did all she could to make our stay a good one. Besides the staff being friendly the hotel is located by shopping and restaurants. It is actually positioned between McDonalds on one side and Swans cafe on the other. Clean rooms, pet friendly, pool and hot tub, I would stay again.
The breakfast selection could have been a little larger perhaps with some fruit. There was coffee, juice, a couple varieties of cereal, toast, muffins, yogurt, and packaged rolls. We were thankful for what they had.

Looks like they hadn't vacuumed in weeks...no months! Railing, going upstairs, sticky. I'm not one to get anyone fired, BUT They need to get someone in there that does her job....and knows how to use a vacuum cleaner. (There's a few good reviews....I'm guessing they were written be friends and/or relatives.)
Went down for breakfast, tables were sticky, while 2 employees sat behind the desk talking.

Filthy!!!

Motel is pet-friendly, so we had to listen to barking dogs for several hours.  When we walked into the lobby, we were instantly hit with a very strong smell of cigarette smoke.  The room was very basic, although it did have a small fridge and microwave.  I was surprised there was no hairdryer, but we were able to get one at the desk.  Oddly, it was the motel style hairdryer that you usually see attached to the wall.  The sink was free-standing, with no counter space, so when I plugged in the hairdryer, the only place I could put the base was in the wet sink.  I decided to pass on that idea!  The breakfast the next morning was very, very limited.  I wish we had gone to the cafe next door.  This place was not a bargain and would not recommend it.
