I rate this between 4 and 5 stars. The motel is basic but clean and it's nice to be able to park right in front of your room. It's pretty modern for the most part as there have been some updates done to the rooms over the years. The manager is extremely friendly and deserves an A plus in customer service. The Travelers Inn is a great value with a lot of nearby conveniences including a bar and grill and Applebee's within walking distance. There is no continental breakfast but the restaurant  next door is very good, fast (order at the counter) and reasonable. The only downside to the Travelers Inn is that there are some long term residents who you can hear as they are hanging around outside (we felt totally safe though).

I Recommend The Travelers Inn 

From the looks, I didn't expect such i nice overnight stay.
Pros: clean, comfortable bed, fridge and microwave in room, guest laundry, coffee in the am, close to shopping and dining, most importantly, very affordable. 
Cons: no coffee maker in room, everything closes at night and doesn't open until 7am, a real key, not key card, glass cups in room not disposable. 

Pleasantly surprised 

We stayed there for a short weekend trip to SMSU.  Great Value for the Money.  Staff was super friendly and helpful.  Beds were comfortable, room had a mini fridge and microwave.  Only downside was the bathroom was very small and could use an update.  Would stay there again if going to the University as it is literally within 1 min walking of the hotel.

Great Location and Friendly Staff

I was in one of the single story rooms and was able to park outside the door.  The room was a bit dated with some knocks and scrapes to the furniture but it was clean.  The lighting was new looking and included somewhere to plug in a charger which was good.  There was a fridge and a microwave but, sadly, no coffee maker. The bed was comfortable though the sheets were a bit thin.  
There was plenty of hot water for the shower and the water pressure was very good.  The towels were thin and scratchy but I got dried.

Wifi was a bit feeble in my room but ok for a bit of browsing.
OK for one night for the price.

Relatively cheap and fairly cheerful

The place was clean and had a nice upgrade to the bath. Good value for the price. Nothing fancy here. Good central location to the university and restaurants. The people I dealt with working there was very pleasant and courteous. 
I would stay again.

This is an old style, park in front of your door motel. Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but inside it’s nice and clean and at least somewhat updated. We stayed 2 nights over a weekend and it was just what we were looking for. Quiet and clean. 
There’s no coffee or breakfast, but there is a Carabou/Einstein bagel across the street and Mike’s Diner right next door. We went to both and they were very good.

Nicer than it looks from the outside

Hooker's banging on your door at all hours of the night. GM that laughs it off. Heaters that run weak if the temp is below 40 degrees, Do yourself a favor and check around before you book a room at this place.

Stay away!!!!

I And a buddy stayed here.  Room worked just fine, clean and quiet and close to college. 
No frills, no breakfast but average size room with tv, fridge, and micowave.  Suited our purpose just fine, no complaints.  We could even have a small dog with us.

nothing fancy, but clean

Had reservations based on what others had said. When we got there and looked over the place, although we had paid, we decided to find somewhere else. The place is very old and run down. A lot of work needed, Pay he extra $30 and find a a better place. We did appreciate getting A REFUND. When you see it, you will understand why they offer a cheap rate.
