Horrible.  Bait and switch on booking dot com. Ok room not available despite confirmation.  Smelled of urine upon entry. Basic fixtures broken or in need of repairs.  Charged 4 person rate when confirmed for 2. Trash on carpeting..left early.

Bathroom outlets inoperable.  Wall fan doesn’t work.   We could hear people talking in the next room.  Okay place if there’s no where else to stay.  Not all rooms are as nice as those on the website.  Place is pretty old and needs updating. 

Needs updating

Unbelievably COLD!  We reserved a room several weeks in advance and also called the day of to let them know we'd be checking in late. The heat was totally OFF.! It took almost 2 hours to warm it up. The room was musty smelling. The parking lot was a skating rink. Yes normal for this time of year, but right in front of the door was extremely icy as well. Our complaints were met with an "oh well" attitude which we found both upsetting and unprofessional 

Not worth the price

Phone in our room did not work so I had to walk to the front desk across the parking lot, no one there of course. None of the vending machine, soda, chips, candy had any product and this certainly is not a pandemic issue as every place seem to love to use this as an excuse now on why stuff is what it is

Comfortable room and good location

We were  looking for a place to stay for a snowmobile trip. This location is perfect. Right next to a gas station. Sleds can be parked outside your door. There’s access to the lake and trails behind the hotel. The room was definitely a basic motel room, but all the linens were super clean. The rooms have a microwave and refrigerator.

Would stay again

Place is run down. The bedspread threadbare. Probably running it into the ground to maximize profits. Light had one bulb instead of the required 2. No staff present. Keys with names and room numbers on table in lobby. Not at all safe and secure. 
Don't stay here. 

Very run down 

This motel was less expensive than most in this tourist town. We were able to get a room with two queen beds, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The beds were comfortable. The rooms are clean. The staff is definitely observing social distancing. The cleaning staff seem to be rotating rooms that were being used, often leaving doors standing open. Our first two nights we were in a room in the back corner. It was very quiet, never heard a noise outside of our room. We needed to switch rooms for our third night. We chose a room with outside door access. We could at times hear other people and traffic, not enough to cause a problem. The ice machine was broken, they are not serving any type of breakfast, and the vending machines were empty. On our third night we did see A couple of repair guys working on the ice machine. The rooms were definitely acceptable, we did see some that had different themes than the rooms we had used. I would be open to staying there again when visiting in the area. 

Less expensive than most

this motel sucks!!!  I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Rude people, room smelled.  DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!  I would sleep on a park bench before staying at the Nothwoods Inn and Suites.

Mini vacation

I was very pleased with my stay, everything was so nice. The room was clean and the location was convenient close to all restaurants and local attractions. The staff was very friendly and helpful; i would highly recommend.

Front Desk Attendant

Horrible customer service.  We could not return for the 2nd night of our booked stay because of an ice storm.  When I called to explain the situation, was accused of trying to cheat them by trying to get out of the 2nd night of our reservation.  Ridiculous 
Extremely overpriced for accommodations; uncomfortable bed, minimal breakfast served.
