Guest service was great! Very nice people. All we're very welcoming. The rooms were clean. Just wished the pool was clean and working. But overall it was an awesome trip. I would recommend anyone and all.

this is a pleasant hotel with clean ,comfortable rooms.it is in a convenient location to the downtown,the casinos and the fairs.a great value for the price.the office staff is  also nice and helpful.we would always pick this hotel to stay in when we come to Philadelphia,MS.

We got a great value for the price.  Nice, clean, roomy room. The area has two casino hotels, but i would rather stay here because the cost of the casino rooms were more than triple the price on what we paid here.

Good value for a one night stay but rooms needs to be updated. The floors are very slippery from humidity. Also the towels could be better ones than on hand. Our room door did not have a latch since it was broken off from the door.

I'll attempt to find a better place next time due to the room we got having holes in the bathroom wall, a roach on our night stand, and a dirty bath/shower. Perhaps the shower was simply stained from years of use, I don't know.  Staff was friendly. Small yet decent continental breakfast. 

Holes in walls, roaches

When I checked in the lady at the desk was on the phone.  She never got off the phone.  She would ask for my info then proceed with her conversation.  She was talking about kids and how her kid couldn’t go to something because she had to work until 11:00.  I had to interrupt her conversation to ask a question.  The room smelled bad. It was a very run down place.  It looked like some people probably lived there.  It didn’t look like a very safe place.  At least the bed was comfortable.  And the shower had good water pressure. Breakfast was ok.

Very disappointing

We were in need of a bed and shower for one night, for the price it worked. But... there was A LOT of damage to the room. Carpet, walls, bathroom, furniture all had damage. This made it hard to determine the level of cleanliness of the room, was it dirty or just beat up? This hotel is beyond needing updates. It could be decent if it was given some attention.

Staff was nice,Room was clean. Coffee was hot, breakfast was good. Lighting fixtures located on the wall had been replaced with lamps on night stand. nice. Unfortunately the outline from old wall lighting being removed and old paint stand out like" turd in a swimming pool". Analog TV was horrible.

I stayed November 3-4, 2023 at the EconoLodge in Philadelphia, MS. I checked in at 3:00 pm, went out for dinner and returned by about 7:00 pm. Since I had an assignment the next day at the Neshoba Colosseum and had to get up at 6:00 am, I went to bed early. I had difficulty getting asleep, and at about 11:30pm the first roach was spotted crawling on the top of the wall facing my bed.  I got up and grabbed a tissue and killed it. I went back to bed and another roach was spotted on the same wall at around 1:00 am. 
It then crawled onto the ceiling and again I grabbed a tissue and when it got over my  bed, I was able to kill the 2nd roach. I am going to try to get some more sleep!

Could not sleep due to roaches crawling on walls and ceiling.

I reserved a night with Choice Hotels, I cancelled my reservation three days before arriving, my money was never refunded. I tried calling and was transferred to their lack of service department..I went on a perpetual wait and no body answered..I will be forced to dispute the charges...Terrible company. Stay away.
