We stayed for two nights. Never again the place is a dump to say the least No room service  to straighten room and replace towels  talked to front desk they said not their problem  I will check out places before I book in future

Unhappy travelers

well first off the smell of weed hits you when you first get out of your car,place is unkempt,dirty.the rooms are nothing to get excited about,furniture in room had animal hairs from the previous renter i guess.went out to store and found a man rolling a blunt in the stairs like it was legal,it apparently has become the area hangout for all the homeless and drug addicts of the area.had people knocking at my door at all hours of the night,looking for their fix.as soon as i would tell them they had the wrong room they would knock at nearby doors also,so it seems its a common occurrence there.in the morning i found people sleeping outside.no cleaning staff,no security,laundry room  is nonexistent.the only way i would recommend this place is if you're alone,and looking to save a buck

Its become a haven for drug addicts

I’m very displeased about the practices at this hotel/SLUM EXTENDED A STAY. I rented a room for a week stay. The 1st unit 218 ac unit DID NOT work and neither did the sink faucet. The room was not clean no pillow cases or toiletries. The floors is disrespectful. The second room 214 ac did work but NO toiletries No towels/rags and NO television. I accepted that room because I had my own tv and Roku and Xbox for my children. Because We were on vacation  I went to Walmart and brought with my OWN money toiletries/sanitizers mops and broom. Just to make due with the what I had. And still go Took for my money.When my stay was over. I went to the front office let the light skinned lady know that there was NO television in that unit she did her walk through. Told me in 3-5 business days I will have my deposit. They keep my deposit talking about a working woman stole a television that WAS NOT in the unit at all. I found out about this after I called to see why I did not get my deposit. They are not doing their job at the slum place. They have a camera system no one wants to review Because that is how they steal from people. I have called numerous times even drove out there. Just to get Took again talking about Mrs. Charelene is at the bank then she will not be back til Wednesday. She doesn’t do here job. This happen in June it’s July. I am the customer and I am always right. DO NOT let your dog stay at this place. I had asked for cooperate number or GM number no reply. This place is a SCAM.

My family and I stayed here until our apt. Was ready for move in a total of around 5 weeks.. During our stay we encountered syringes,  and broken pipes next to the trash can. Needless to say they MAKE you give a fifty dollar cash deposit up front and supposedly given back to you when your room is checked upon leaving I was cleared by maid service then I get to the office I cannot have my deposit because they said I have not paid pet deposits the whole time I was there.. I have all my paperwork and clearly states I paid my deposits The whole crew even the owners knew I had cats.. I'm assuming they just want the fifty dollars for themselves.. On a good note some of the staff was great!

Don't Stay here!

We have been here three weeks with pets. We pay in full and don't bother anyone! We have had to move room's twice because of a bad breaker and a.c.. We have also had to have a refrigerator switched out... We have seen a broken meth pipe and syringe two days back to back and not said a word! Tonight after fishing with my family we come back and I need new room keys. I go into the lobby and it smells like weed. I say something about it and the employee up front laughs and tells me to talk to the manager. I talk to the manager and tell her everything and she says I smell like beer and I am wrong! Hello it's my off day and I pay my money in full!!!!!!! 

In between moving.

I have stayed at both extend a stay's (dauphin and now Tillman corner). The extend a stay in Tillman's corner far surpasses the one on Dauphin in every way. I checked in around the end of December, there was a little confusion because I booked online (fault was on the website I used) immediately the matter was taken care of by staff. The front desk allowed me to view room to make sure I was happy with the accommodations. Dee the manager of this hotel went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. She has done miracles with this hotel. The extend a stay on Dauphin street I would see drug deals, prostitutes or people intoxicated, front desk was rude except for one gentleman....shady to say the least. The one in Tillman corner I witnessed NO drug activity, prostitutes, front desk clerks (Darnisha) were friendly & also went out of their way to help. They even walked my grandmother to the room when she arrived. Extend a stay needs to promote Dee to clean up all their hotels. Housekeeping (April & Dru) came by everyday and asked if we needed anything (fresh linens, towels). April ("Pink") swept and mopped everyday except for the days we said we were okay always with a smile on her face. I want to thank all the staff for a wonderful and memorable experience for the first time at a extend a stay. 

Wonderful stay

WHAT A DISGUSTING HOTEL. We stayed there only because it was late and we were very tired. When we were trying to check in the desk clerk was having an argument with another guest, that should have been the sign to RUN. The room was disgusting after being told by the desk clerk it was good. There were people drinking, yelling and fighting most of the night. The bathroom was terrible needed cleaning. Room was small, not a suite. The bed felt like a board sitting on a spring frame. Pictures on the website are not of this hotel as it is today.

I stayed at this motel from the end of Feb. til the 4th of March for a total of six nights.  I had stayed there when it was the Red Roof Inn for 21 years before it changed hands and it went down hill from there.  It has changed hands at least one more time before becoming Extend A Suites so I thought I would give them a try.  I was in room 103 next to the office.  The room was comfortable with a hardwood floor.  It had a full sized fridge/freezer, a microwave and a flat screen tv.  The air/heat worked well and was quiet.  The motel is in the middle of a major upgrade from the way it was when they acquired it.  I visit Mobile at the same time each year and I will be there again in '18.  They have  security  seven days a week who can be reached if needed.  The employees are very courteous and helpful and make you feel welcome.  They have a lot more work to be done but the rooms are worth the money and the rates are below most of the neighbor motels.  I will see ya'll next year.......and thanks.
