We are very new to camping with an RV but the people at this site were very helpful and friendly.  I enjoyed the ease of getting in and back out of our slot.  We really enjoyed ourselves.  It was peaceful and quiet, which was just what we were looking for.

Peaceful and quiet

This place is everything a camper or RV needs. The RV sites are nice and spacious, full hook-up , plenty of activities for kids and a nice lake to go fishing. The site is well taken care off and the owners Gerry and Tammy are family oriented and well organized. Tammy and the staff at the office were super kind and helpful. The pool was scheduled butcheries hour due to COVID-19, but we felt super safe because they were cleaning everything between guests. My family was very happy there! There is plenty to see around the area and if you just want to stay at the camp, you will have a good rest and enough activities for every age. Totally recommend this place! 

Wonderful place and staff

We recently visited Countryside Campground for the first time.  We chose the location because it was close and seemed to have a lot of options to cater to our family.  Our site was nice, clean and level with a nice gravel pad.  We did not have a full hook up site - although there was a sewer pipe but it stated do not use, so we followed.

The sites are not giant, but we had a nice tree and a ridge that provided us some nice privacy.  We walked the campgrounds several times and enjoyed the atmosphere.  Mostly seasonals here, but all are pleasant.  We enjoyed the dog park and the dog contest.

Unfortunately for us, it was not very warm when we went, so we only used the pool once.  It is small, but there didn't seem to be a lot of kids at the campground, so it would've been sufficient.  The mini golf course is pretty basic, and is only holes 7-12.  Nonetheless, the kids enjoyed it.  They also liked the goats and chickens.

We did use the path to the reservoir a few times and it was nice to be so close.  You can fish if you have a license, and there are all types in the reservoir.

One thing to note is that you need to pay for Wifi.  It did work well once paid ($7 for 2 days) - even enough to stream tv very well.

Overall, it was pleasant and nice.  A very quite campground.  When it was time for quiet hours, the place seemed very dark and quiet.  There are so many things nearby that it is nice and centrally located.  So if you wanted to go out, there is definitely something for everyone.

Nice Clean Campground

We actually found this place online. It was close to home so we figured we would try it. We rented a travel trailer with a enclosed porch. It was a very nice and clean place to visit. We definitely will visit again

Very nice Campground

We stayed one night on a trip west.  We have a 24' camper.  Our spot was level and close to the trail to the reservoir.  It was very relaxing and nice.  It was mid week so i don't know about the activities but it looks like a great place to take the family.

Quiet and relaxing

Tammy and her husband went about and beyond to help us through an unexpected MH issue. They are amazing. Thank you so much for all your help. The campground is well maintained and the people are very friendly.

Awesome campground 

Stayed at Countryside campground last week - a group of 8 coaches - this was a great choice, Nice level spots - has full hook ups - not much shade but you can cool off in the swimming pool !! close enough to lots of things to do -  Had fun exploring the area . Tammy, the owner , was very pleasant, easy to deal with and went above and beyond to help us get situated the way we needed to be.Mostly permanent spots but very friendly.  If you are in the area, this is a GREAT choice. We'll be back. 

motorhome get together

When we started full-time RVing two years ago, Countryside was the place we chose to spend our remaining days before we hit the road.  Since then, every Spring and Fall, we return for a month each time.  We'e called this wonderful place home while we spend 30 days visiting family and friends in the area.
Gary and Tammy are wonderful hosts!  And they take great care of the place!  After spending time in many, many campgrounds over the past two years, Countryside ranks among the best!
