The time share is in an isolated area. That was not a problem for us but maybe for some.  It is a quit place with very friendly staff.  With a little planning and some travel you can have a very nice time and see different sites.

Vacation

One star is because of the friendly people and employees.But only that because we paid for 2 bedrooms with a hot tub and didn’t get one.They said resort is fully booked and they prioritize wyndham timeshare and we are timeshare holders. But no unit with hot tub available. But we notice empty unit with hot tub first night! Then the next day we were there some people just checking in with with a suite having a hot tub! Like really? Don’t really know why is that?But we drove 5 hours and staying for 4 days then got very disappointed.Why would they rent units with a hot tub and we paid more points for it then didn’t get one? They said they have only few available and some on wait lists? Why let people pay more in the first place? We just wasted our points!  Just so disappointing.We came to relax and anticipated we can chill with our own hot tub and didn’t happen. Will not come back here.

Family vacay

We stayed here during February vacation and skied Crotched Mountain which was very conveniently minutes up the road. Our two bedroom 2nd floor unit was spacious and well stocked. In unit laundry is always the best!  There was a queen in each of the bedrooms. I had two teenage boys with me so I brought an inflatable mattress and there was plenty of room for it on the floor of one of the bathrooms. The biggest plus to this resort are the staff. Chris at the check-in desk goes out of his way to accommodate whatever he can. We had a small, self caused issue in our unit in the evening and maintenance was there to assist very promptly! The hot tub was great to have and was very clean. They come by every day to treat and check the outdoor hot tubs. The restaurant was open but we only got takeout. Food was very good! The resort and surrounding area must be quite pretty in the summer and fall  The immediate area with regards to the surrounding towns was pretty quiet so this was very much an R&R vacation for us.Clean, comfortable beds, good on site restaurant and great staff. A good choice for a vacation!

Nice resort, fantastic staff!

This place was beautiful. The resort itself is not big but the suites are beautiful and spacious. Hospitality is top notch. It was so peaceful and quiet. Heather Ann is a total doll. She was so sweet. We will definitely be back

Beautiful

Staff is GREAT!  However this is the smallest 2 bedroom unit I've ever seen and I've been an owner for 25+ years.  Kitchen is so small even one person can't function in it.  You can't have dishwasher open and reach cabinets to put things away with out squeezing in between dishwasher door and counter.  If one person is trying to prep/cook and another do dishes...forget it :(  Oven door was broken, wouldn't close completely, so we propped a chair against it to hold it closed.  Informed staff, who came then said it was good to go, but it wasn't.  We informed them again and they apologized.  I believe they know the oven door must be replace, which is expensive, so they are letting it go.
We had to request extra blankets for the beds.  Bedding was more conducive to summer than winter.  There was not extra towels for the hot tub, we requested more, and did several loads of laundry to keep clean towels.  
Both bathroom floors had hair and debris left behind the doors and/or around toilets.  Gross!  
Carpet is worn and shabby along seams and edges, outside of our building had chipped paint, missing screens, and damaged window sills/frames.  The location is what we knew it to be, but if you're looking for a lot to do, this isn't the place.  It is RURAL New Hampshire.  I was able to get this place for minimal trade, so it was a good value.  If I had put out a lot for it, I would be VERY disappointed. 
I want to say again that the staff is very speedy and polite, except for housekeepers, who need to step it up.

Not RCI Gold Crown

The resort is small and secluded.  If your looking for peace and quiet and just need to to recharge, this is the place.  It has a fantastic restaurant and golf course.  I was a little nervous when the address was on a turnpike - turns out it’s a mostly dirt road which was great for walking.
We had a hot tub right on our deck with a great view of the awesome foliage.  The staff is super helpful .  Only been home a day, but miss it already.

Great resort

I don't always write a review but,my family and I along with five other families all rented one or two bedroom condos. I couldn't have been more pleased. We did the late check-in which went smoothly. The kitchen is well-equipped,which is nice for a family.
In the morning when we woke up. We were a little disappointed that the parking lot was covered with ice. Only to discover the staff outside salting and deicing the parking lot. Cheryl, the guest services supervisor was outside answering any questions and making sure everybody was managing the conditions. Upon Our return to our room later that day. There was a note from Cheryl on our table with a fresh stack of towels and six chocolate's it was such a wonderful surprise. The one bedroom unit was perfect for us. We will be back again next year. Thank you for a wonderful memorable getaway.

Crotched mountain  ski trip

This was our first visit to Crotched Mountain Resort and it certainly won't be our last. All of the staff we encountered, from reception to maintenance was very friendly, helpful and accomodating. Our two bedroom unit was spacious. There was a "real" fireplace  in the guest bedroom and the living room, allowing the use duraflame type logs. Each unit also has it's own private hot tub!  In winter time you can ski and the grounds are picturesque with plenty of trails for hiking. It snowed while we were there making me wish I had brought our snow shoes with us. Other than skiing, hiking and snow shoeing there isn't a lot to do in the area. But it was very relaxing and that's exactly what we were looking for.

Enjoyed Our Stay

We stayed the week of Thanksgiving and brought my elderly mother. When I happened to mention this at checkin, Paisley (the desk clerk) asked if we preferred a ground floor unit (which of course we did). The hot tub was nonfunctional upon our arrival, but maintenance came right away to try to fix the problem. They were unable to repair the tub and we were told we could use the tub at the unit next door that was vacant. I thought that was a good solution and appreciated not getting a "sorry, nothing we can do" response. The unit (2 BR) was spacious and well appointed. Lots of dishes, silverware, towels, etc. There is a walking path on the property which is nice. We did not try out the restaurant, but it looked nice of what we could see when we checked in. The washer and dryer in the unit was helpful and would probably be even more so for skiers, etc. It's a bit far to the grocery store, and the mattresses were too soft for our taste, but they were quality mattresses, not soft because they were worn out.  We would definitely stay at the resort again. 

A very nice property with attentive staff

It is important to know that our visit was over Thanksgiving so the outdoor pool and group hot tub were not on the menu.  Some of the units have hot tubs on their decks, I guess you have to ask for the hot tub units when you book.  All the units require steps and second-floor units have no elevator so I don't think handicap accessible units are available.
  Francestown is not near any famous sightseeing spot so just relaxing, playing golf in the summer or skiing in the winter seems to be the main attraction.
  Rooms were well maintained and the full kitchen made meal preparation easy. (Not many restaurants within a 20-minute drive.)
  The staff was super friendly and helpful.  Free DVDs are available in the main office.  Pick up a DuraFlame log and relax in front of the fireplace.
