Had a fantastic time staying at Soren's place for 4 nights. Large communal lodge space with bar to hang out, nice back deck on the river to unwind. Rooms were spacious and clean. Soren's breakfasts were delicious. He cares a great deal and did his best to give us great recommendations for the local area. Plan to stay with him again. 

Comfortable lodging with a personal touch

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the River's Bend. Soren was very accommodating and an excellent host, not to mention a wonderful cook! The lodge is very welcoming with it's rustic decor. We called it "The Ponderosa"! The views were spectacular and we saw a lot of wild life...including mule deer right at the front door! If you're looking for a good night's sleep, the bed was super comfortable. We will definitely revisit River's Bend again! Thank you, Soren!

Spectacular!

Absolutely beautiful place and breath taking the river views. Great for family get together. The rooms were clean and comfy. At night, we sat on the deck and with a glass of wine. Quiet and peaceful ambience.  We were lucky enough to see bald eagles, mountain goats, fish jumping, and several geese. Additionally, we asked to start a campfire below is the photo.  Highly recommend staying.

Awesome place

My father, brother, friend and I stayed here for 5 days early July.  I can not say enough about the location on the Missouri River, the lodge itself, and our hosts Cindy and Soren.  Immaculately clean with a rustic fishing feel, all the rooms were fabulous.  Cindy was a caterer somewhere in the past and her cooking of breakfast and dinner each night blew the four of us away.  Very reasonable rates for what I would say a 5 star rating.  Fished with 4 guides on the Missouri and had the time of our lives floating down river and killing the rainbows and browns.  Can not recommend this lodge any higher, dont miss it!!

PHENOMENAL LOCATION AND ACCOMODATIONS

Cindy was outstanding and the place was excellent.  Really great to be able to sit out on the deck and enjoy the views - consistently saw bald eagles fishing out front and deer in the river

Lots of structure out front of the lodge for fishing and a little fly shop walking distance down the road.  Great stay

Great spot right on the river

Very difficult place to stay if you are older.  Very steep wooden stairs to climb to get to a very small room… no chair, no closet. This place is not worth the inflated price!!  Breakfast so-so, not creative as one might expect at a B&B. It was quite disappointing….

I felt cheated

Not sure how to rate this since we didn't actually stay here. We made a reservation online and drove to the location about 2 hours away. When I called for directions to the Lodge, I was told that the reservation website had overbooked their rooms and no rooms were available. The owner was terse with me and belittled me for not calling in advance.  Unfortunately, we weren't called, so we drove 2 hours only to be turned away. The lesson we learned today was difficult: call before making the drive to this location and make sure they have room available.
