48 Telemark Ski In/Ski Out Beaverhead Condo Penthouse!

Unbelievable Ski Location! Walk outside and put your skis on to the White Wing Lift. Perfect for families who ski at different levels and want to stay on the mountain and leave the car in the heated garage. Ski Boot Warmer kept the boots dry and ready to go. Walk to nightlife in the Mountain Village or jump in the hot tub.
48 Telemark has everything you need - the kitchen is so well stocked - every thing to cook, bake, entertain or just order in.  Every board game to keep the kids busy plus a fooseball table. There were a lot of extra blankets, pillows and towels so we felt like we were at home.  Brand new bedding in each bedroom.
A large Balcony off the kitchen with Mountain Views and the 2 bedrooms with King Beds also had balconies- so we will rent this condo again this summer. This Beaverhead Condo is first row so my Mom sat in the huge window seat and watched Big Sky come alive with Ski Patrol and Mountain Dogs as the sun came up and watched skiers on the mountain. The condo has incredible views - enjoyed in front of the WOOD BURNING Fireplace.  We had 3 generations and EVERY ONE was HAPPY!!  That doesn’t always happen!!  We rented thru Two Pines and they take care of EVERYTHING! Big Sky is the Best - snow mobiling, skiing, cross country- some thing for everyone!! Can’t wait to Return in July!

48 Telemark Beaverhead Penthouse Condo

Absolutely disappointed in unit 1418. Walk in and the smell of cigarette smoke knocks you out. Managers are not accommodating in moving to better clean condo. Not only the smell but the dirt in the place is crazy with all that is going on. Really should have realized the disappointment at check in with the lack of knowledge and explanation of how to find condo. Highly recommend you find another place to stay. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Stay away from Beaverhead 1418

We stayed in Unit #301 over the New Year holiday.  This unit should be taken out of the rental offerings until it is updated.  The family room furniture  is a collection of garage sale rejects in which every seat has busted springs.  Our family wanted to gather in this room but the furniture is functionally unusable.  The kitchen pots, pans, dishes and flatware were a scratched up, stained mishmash of products which was so disappointing as we planned to cook dinner every night.   None of the dining chairs matched.  Wall decor in most all rooms is dried up arrangements of wheat, baby's breath, and faded ribbons.  Washer and dryer were finicky and unreliable.  Pillows, blankets and mattresses were ancient, dusty, tattered  and barely useable,  Two of the bathroom locks were broken.  Master bedroom metal head board is only propped against the wall and not connected to the bed frame so loudly clanks against the wall every time someone turns or shifts in the bed.  We requested a move but there was no comparable space available.  The 2 star ranking is for the view and location. We would never stay in this unit again.  The entry door is marked #301 64 Telemark Drive but has imprints in the wood exterior panels that faintly show  xx06 (can't read the first two numbers) so this unit may have had a different address in the past. I couldn't find any reviews for this unit number, so I feel that the new address gives it some anonymity for review purposes.

Unit #301 64 Telemark Drive is in poor condition and not well maintained

We stayed in February in unity 1424. Location was excellent! Easy to ski directly in and just a short walk to White Wing run. If you walk a little bit higher across the run, you can bypass the beginner chair and cruise directly to the main base chairs. Easy to get to the condo complex by car with plenty of parking, including one heated garage spot. The condo itself was huge - much bigger than we expected. It is actually 5 bedrooms (if you include the "bonus room" with two twin floor beds). We had two families with 8 people and fit in with room to spare. Could have easily slept 4 or 5 more people. The accommodations were not luxurious, but they were clean and comfortable - just fine for a ski trip. I have seen complaints about the decor being dated in other condos, but this one had a rustic log cabin type finish that was nice. Large kitchen and dining area (for eating, playing cards/board games, etc) and a large living room with real fireplace and plenty of fresh cut wood. The indoor hot tub worked out really well once we figured out the correct heat settings. Normally we prefer an outdoor tub/pool, but with it getting so cold at night, it is nice to get in without having to go outside. This unit is on the top floor, so going up and down takes effort, especially with luggage. Not a big deal for us, and you can leave your ski gear in the heated garage, but the stairs are probably the biggest downside to the condo.

Great place for a family ski vacation!

Our family of 6 recently stayed in this unit. For the price we paid it was a terrible experience. The place is sorely outdated with dusty furniture from the 1970's, the owners made no effort to supply us with proper kitchen pots and pans, the blender is even from 1970. The dishes were chipped too! While the decor is terribly outdated it is all so dusty that we were all sneezing and coughing the entire time, it's a total health hazard - the furniture and rugs are so old they are filled with dust. There is no place to store ski gear as well. The rest of our family stayed in another unit nearby and it was completely modern, well stocked, clean and a lovely place, It's a shame this unit is available on the resort Central Reservations. If Big Sky has standards for the units they rent I would think this unit does not meet any of them. Do not rent this unit, it will make you ill.

Do not stay in Beaverhead 1411

The Beaverhead condos are adjacent to the Big Sky ski slopes. The White Wing ski trail is directly behind the condo building making ski in and ski out easy. There is a passage between the next building that gets groomed.
Unit 1452 is located up a flight of stairs making bag carrying somewhat difficult. Although the building is equipped with an elevator we did not have use.
Skis and other equipment can be stored in the garage.
The kitchen is well equipped. This unit can accommodate 8-10 adults in comfort. The bunk beds make it suitable for kids. I was there on a ski club trip for which the unit is well suited.
There is a hot tub however it is only accessible through 2 adjoining bedrooms. (We had a problem with the hot tub circuit breaker repeatedly tripping.)
There is also a fireplace and firewood is provided, however it is stored in the garage.

Spacious with ski in/out access.

The proximity to the resort and slopes was amazing. Spacious unit, gorgeous windows with views. Comfortable beds. Use of a nearby hot tub and pool was nice. We enjoyed our stay. 
But it is a time capsule to 1989. Blue carpet, outdoor lighting inside, rickety old lazy boys, brass/glass tables, old lamps, a washer and dryer that literally shook the floors when in use. It would have been a swanky unit 30 years ago but now it needs to come into the new millennium.

Great location, spacious, 1411 needs remodeling

We stayed at no 1448 - newer condo than some of the other Beaverhead blocks - we set home home here for 3 weeks with various friends arriving throughout - excellently set up for 6 adults with three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
One room has bunks if travelling with children.  Other 2 rooms have large comfortable king size beds!
Hubbie loved walking outside and 2 min walk later skiing down to the lift.
The condo is well set up with everything you need in the kitchen - big oven and cooktop - dishwasher, lots of pots and pans a a big fridge as well as a drinks fridge. And a BBQ outside if you want to brave the cold. Large washing machine and dryer. Large garage space provided.  Heating very effective - the best thing is watching the sun rise over the valley and sun shining in all day - very cozy - tv DVD player also!!!! We loved our stay thank you . 

Long vacation in the snow

location--100ft. walk (some uphill) to White Wing run in a.m..
easy to ski down to.    stayed here 7 days.

in cold, winter weather, NOT easy walk to village (~ 1/4 mile) and coming "home" is uphill.  so if you don't have a car, options for dinner are very limited.  (you could ask "cowboy" valet at hotel for ride, depending on availability).  the Beaverhead condo group advertises "access" to hotel's pool, spa, and fitness room.   this is unrealistic, at least in winter--walking to hot tub, pool in fitness clothes is not possible.  

condo itself--pluses--has indoor spa!, 3 baths, 2 bedrooms with 6 bed "loft".  
furnishings "mountain resort" style--logs, iron grid.  store skis in garage.  kitchen utensils provided.  fair condition.  shag carpet.  stone tile in foyer and bathroom.   room heaters work well.

housekeeping service on day 4 was very cursory.  didn't empty trash, barely "made" bed, didn't replace towels, etc.  

this specific condo is actually probably 4; went with club who rented 12 condos total and heard did hear horror stories.  Oh.  and although check in was supposed to be 5pm, housekeeping had not finished yet and we were able to check in until 8pm.  We had to lug our carry-on bags to dinner.

Beaverhead 1451 nice.  mountain style

Beaverhead 1409 is overall, very nice. It's close to the slopes. You can ski in. The King bed was fine. The Queen, with bathroom in the hall (need to hold down the lever 30 seconds for it to flush), was atrocious. No padding. Our poor ski buddy had to pay $600 extra single supplement and she didn't get a good night sleep. Calling housekeeping and talking to the Huntly Lodge front desk didn't do much. They gave her a couple of matress covers and she stuffed a bunch of blankets underneath. Finally, she got a worn out matress pad Thursday night. Didn't do much.
We stayed 8 days and if you stay 6 days or more, the condo should have a full service and linen change on the 4th day. They never arrived on the 4th day. The front desk assured me they would come the next day. I called at 10 am and housekeeping didn't know if we were on the list. She asked if we'd like to pay for a linen change. Didn't call back, as asked. The front desk assured us that night we'd get a linen change, new towels, garbage removal and a matress topper by the next day, 6 days into our trip. Towels arrived for some. Not even a bed made. Garbage still in the kitchen. No replacement of laundry detergent. Finally, garbage removed, two new towels and laundry soap at 5pm.
Broken in-condo hot tub but the Huntly took it off our bill.
