New owners have nearly doubled the rates ($115US/night)...zero improvements...very poor internet...washroom facilities dirty and in poor condition...staff was not very helpful. We were extremely disappointed, as previous managers were excellent.

Disappointing Stay

We were going to arrive after 8pm so the staff left our unit open with the key inside for us.  We stayed in condo D and it was nice and clean.   We were responsible for washing the dishes but that was no biggie.  Nice hot shower with great water pressure.

Nice views

Value:  If you're a member of Passport America, you get the RV spot at half price.  Location:  FANTASTIC!  If you get into one of only 3 spots on the lake side of the highway, there's a little more grass and an apple tree for each spot.  There are LOTS of really good restaurants right there in Lakeside (more than I would have ever expected for such a small town).  Bummers:  They closed on Oct. 1st.  The bathrooms and showers were closed due to COVID, but no reduction in cost of the RV spot.  The traffic noise from the highway is pretty loud.  It does die down at night, but it's still there.  The spots are pretty small.  Service was good.  Enjoyed our stay.

Would stay here again...

2 star - the room. 
The bathroom was huge. The shower was a joke - you have to hold the shower head while standing in an old tub.  No shower walls, just a painted wall under the window, and a shower curtain that covers two-thirds of the tub.  
We found the bed was so soft that you had to wake up to turn over.  
Garbage pickup early in the morning right along the room wall.      
We had to remove the refrigerator from the top of the desk to set up a single laptop. Two folding chairs provided (where to set up the second?)  
No microwave.
Thankfully it was clean, but the bed and the shower are two top issues that need to improve.

Great Location - Rooms needs updating

Edgewater is a treasure on the Flathead.  Fran, the manager welcomes guests to the resort with gracious kindness.  It is spotlessly clean, manicured landscaping,  glorious flowers everywhere.  The laundry room is immaculate and clean. 

By all means do not miss an opportunity to spend some time in Lakeside.  You won't regret it.

My new favorite

truly can't understand the praises for this park. It is basically a parking lot turned it in to a RV park. Mostly concrete and gravel. The only grass is the narrow dog run behind the building for the laundry, restrooms, etc. The restrooms are clean, but old. There are rule signs EVERYWHERE. Each site has one of those old, dirty, grills, but the nice, gas grills at the common area must be reserved and RENTED. Yes, you read that right, it costs. The spaces are a nice size, but are all concrete and gravel. This park is more like a city park. If you're looking for nature, this isn't it. There is no refund if you decide to leave a day early, but this is never mentioned over the phone when making the reservation. There is a sign posted when you check in. It wasn't awful, I just don't understand the praises. It's Lakeside, Montana, if we wanted to be surrounded by concrete ,we would have gone to Houston, Tx. We were highly disappointed. We camped at Edgewater RV Resort & Motel in a Travel Trailer.

We had the lakeside view room, which was amazing to wake up to the view of the lake and mountains.  Unfortunately, the room hasn't been changed since the 70's.  The sad thing is with a little care and not a lot of money, it could at least be cute if not fancy.  Dingy gray painted walls, old carpet, old bedspreads, etc.  Not even a microwave.  Too bad they don't take more pride in it as it could be a great little place.  So the view and location gets a 5.  The room maybe a 3 if I'm being generous.

Had the two (only) upstairs rooms. One was facing the lake with a wonderful view and a balcony facing the lake. Bedroom with two beds, living room and kitchen. Had the other room across the hall from it with two king size beds and fridge so perfect for a family of two kids and two parents. Had its own dock/swim area. Was really perfect. Go eat at the Tamarack Brewery. Ask for directions as it is off the main drag a little. Best food in town. Rent kayaks for the kids right on the main drag. Go for coffee at Glacier Perks also on main drag. Go for breakfast and lunch to The Farmhouse, one block off main drag. Go for Far West Boat Tour in afternoon or evening. Hour and 45 minutes cost $22. Really nice.

Motel Right On The Lake!

We recently stayed in the motel on the lake side of Hwy 93. We were quite pleased by the room which was actually 2 rooms with a queen bed in each. There was a coffee maker and fridge too. Bathroom was old but very clean. Towels were thick, good quality and plentiful. Daily cleaning was included which we did not expect. We absolutely loved the dock with the Adirondack chairs- coffee every morning and drinks every night. Great view and location. If they had a kayak to rent on the premises that would be perfect. We are so glad we stumbled on this place and would love to come back!

Value for money

We stayed here to meet up with some friends who help out with maintenance at the park. It is right across a busy highway from Flathead Lake and has a nice view of the majestic Mission Mountains. There is some traffic noise from the highway as we were nearest the road. We did not find it bothersome. There is occasionally noisy groups at the group picnic structure but they seem to enforce quiet hours well. The bathrooms and laundry as very clean and nice although we usually use our trailer’s shower. The lots are nice gravel and concrete pads and are angled for easy access. Also the sites alternate the sides of utilities so pay attention to their instructions on how to approach your site. 

BEWARE!  Richard the manager is a bit of a tease and can appear quite grumpy!  Don’t take it personal! The managers are actually very nice.
