The location is great with stunning views. The hotel is  too casual for my liking and I expected something completely different. The Bench restaurant is a disaster i.e. Spring break meets trailer park. For a hotel of this category and this price level (north of 1500 USD per night) this is totally unacceptable to me. It was a mistake to come here

While I am sure there are many excellent caddies at Pebble Beach, we lucked in to two of the best.  Anthony and Randy.  They made the day for my son and I even better than expected.  Professional in every way, excellent at their craft, worked very hard.  I truly recommend these two gentleman if you ever are lucky enough to play at Pebble. The property is spectacular but it's not the location alone that makes it so special. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The food is delicious. And we loved the swimming pool and facilities, amazing views from a full sized pool.

Lives up to the ype

this "hotel", which both is and isn't is of that rare breed of lodging that makes one feel at home. literally.

if you have ever had the occasion and opportunity to be a guest in a better home, The Lodge at Pebble Beach will remind you of that kind of experience.

every interaction with staff gave one the feeling they were being attended to by an old family equerry. there was nothing corporate about the experience. at no time did i feel i was being subjected to some "standard operating procedure" or employee's manual.

the rooms, even the modest ones, are palatial, for what they are. high ceiling and sprawling floorspace make for an en-suite guestroom in a mansion, sort of vibe.

room service. the food arrived hot, even though the kitchen was a few hundred yards away and it was raining, cold and windy.

the concierge. a more affable exchange can not be had.

the bar. i asked that the bartender prepare an obnoxiously off-the-menu cocktail and he did it, without thinking about it. without hesitation. and not with any complaining or exasperated vibe, either.

the people at the front desk kind of put you in the mind of a fuzzy episode of the TV Series "Hotel" in the way they tendered the keenest and intentional care to every word that comes from your mouth.

at every turn i was confronted with nicety, service, and warmth.

service. embodied. unmatched.

We had very high expectations and they were all met. Everything was really perfect: service, quality, standards, cleanliness, friendliness, golf, food, drink, bar, restaurants, rooms. In addition, we have received a great update. 

One of the greatest places in the world 

My husband and I spent 1 night here to celebrate his birthday. The location is beautiful and our room was spacious and comfortable. We used the hot tub and the ocean view was stunning. We dined at The Bench which was excellent. I recommend visiting during the off season (Jan - Mar) - it's quieter and you can often find deals. We lucked out with a sunny 60 degree day.

When we first arrived we were greeted with a big Welcome and How can we help! They were very nice.  We were given an ocean front room that had a spectacular view of the ocean, 18th fairway and green. It was a large room, clean, gas fireplace, a porch with seating and a large bathroom with 2 sinks.  

The grounds were beautiful. Numerous boutiques were steps away from the front door. 

Food and restaurants were great.  The Tap Room has closed for renovation, but we visited the Stillwater which was a great place for breakfast and lunch.

Bucket List Adventure Did Not Disappoint!

Just returned from our trip to the fantastic Pebble Beach Lodge. We were upgraded to a two room suite that overlooks the 18th green in celebration of our anniversary. It was perfect in every way. The staff were friendly and helpful, the grounds were beautiful, our ocean view room was spectacular. The bed was comfy, the bathrooms were well appointed. I can’t say enough good things about it really. It has spoiled me for any other hotel room. My husband played a couple rounds of golf and it was a dream come true.  I did a couple services at the spa. The spa itself was so calm, serene, spotlessly clean, with an accommodating staff. My services were great.

Best experience ever

The Lodge at Pebble Beach is an amazing resort. We had two rooms ( traveling with our children) overlooking the 18th green. I think my husband was in heaven.  From the moment we arrived service was outstanding and all of the amenities feel luxurious. Even the towels in the bathroom and large, soft and luxurious. My husband loved the golf and the spa is amazing. We enjoyed eating on the outdoor patio with a fire table overlooking the 18th green. It is truly a wonderful resort in an absolutely beautiful setting with outstanding service. We can’t wait to return.

We loved staying at the Lodge— it was absolutely beautiful & the service amazing! Our rooms  (our kids were in a second room next to ours)  gorgeous & huge.  I can not recommend visiting here enough- we enjoyed everything about our stay! Old school 5-star in everyway
