Overall
I would never come back to this place or recommend anyone come here to stay unless you had no other options. Any “updates” they have made I would question as to what they are actually covering up underneath.

The first room we were given smelled like mildew and mold from the moment we walked in. Then we noticed the bed covers all had cigarette burns despite it being no smoking rooms. When we checked the sheets they were dirty and smelled like they had not been changed. We asked for another room and once again the room smelled like mildew and mold but the sheets and  coverings seemed clean.  We should have just packed up and left but it was late in the day and ok enough to just stay for the night. 

We chose this place because it had a pool, was close to the Zoo, just off one of the major highways and inexpensive. Well the pool is not open and they would not say why. They said they did not have a workout remember besides it being on the website. The only nice thing was the zoo was 5-10 mins away and the breakfast was decent. Finally, I do need to give the front desk person some credit because he did offer to get us a new room but only after talking with his manager first. 



Needs major improvement! Do NOT recommend.

The hotel is spotless, the lobby one of the nicest I have seen, it’s staff friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. The beds perfect and the pillows the softest in the business.

CONS: 1) breakfast was a disappointment. Fewest choices of ANY Comfort-/ Quality Inn I have visited. No yogurt or bread/bagels.
2) Despite a week of 85 degree weather the pool was still closed 
3) toilet was loose

Nice place, clean and well maintained. Good value

I get points for staying at a Choice hotel so I chose this location.  It was cool - right off the highway and near McDonald's/Wendy's/Waffle House.  The bed and bathroom were clean. Keep in mind this is a basic, no frills hotel.  Also, it's next to a Days Inn and you may see people in the parking hanging out at night.

Decent Choice Hotel

Pros: 
-The price and location are good.
-The staff was very friendly.
-Clean (but they still have the old bed covers).
-Decent breakfast (but no lids for the coffee).
-Comfortable beds.
-Microwave and large mini fridge.
-Washer and Dryer
Cons:
-No elevator
-Hall carpeting is looking old and worn out (But they were in the process of laying new flooring in the front area which meant we had to walk out of side entrances to get to the front desk and breakfast area but it will be nice once completed)
-Questionable security of parking lot. There was a vehicle broken into during our stay and I asked the front desk about it after the police left and the clerk assured me that was a first.

Good value but it is a budget hotel

I usually do not write a bad review BUT this hotel is most definitely horrible. The room was accessible but the smell was terrible. Not sure if it came the A/C ducts or urine from a service animal.  Ugh keep driving.

POSITIVES: 
certainly the dest clerk, both in the afternoon checkin and morning departure. 
Room had 2 chairs--no one had to lounge on the bed
Microwave and frig
And that door magnet!

Negatives:
Pitiful water pressure
so-so lighting--no ceiling fixtures, weak CFL bulbs
no USB ports

why doesn't everyone use a magnet to hold the room door open for bringing in luggage/

This hotel is very clean and modern. The welcome bag (containing water, a granola bar, and a notepad) was a nice (and unexpected) touch. The staff were friendly and efficient. I would recommend this hotel. Very nice employees and management will work with you when you have extending circumstances.

excellent stay quality inn

We stayed here during a BFL tournament at Lake Jordan. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with a nice area for dining. The hotel was about 15-20 minutes from the boat ramp, but an easy drive there and back for the two day tournament.

Good stay during fishing tournament

First, the positive -- bed was great, a/c worked very well, employees were nice and helpful, breakfast looked good although we did not eat there, pool looked nice and clean, and room was very quiet (except for the crying kids -- not hotel's fault).  Now, for the not so positive -- there were cigarette burns on the bedspread (was a smoking room), window looked like a child had smeared greasy fingers across it, the refrigerator had frozen (the last guest did not shut the door completely), the towels were cleaned but very threadbare as well as the floor mat, the remote control did not work all the time (had to hit the up/down button multiple times to get it to change), the radio looked like it had seen better days and the hallway had an odd order.  And I highly suggest that if you are sensitive to smoke, make sure you ask for non-smoking room.
