Easy access to & from the Interstate. Very clean restrooms and shower stalls, as well as laundry area. Friendly staff and well-maintained campground. Only stayed one night. We had the campsite nearest the interstate and the traffic noise was a little much for a really good night's sleep.  

Rest stop

We stayed here 3 nights in a 42 ft 5th wheel. It was easy to get to and our pull thru site was more than adequate for our slides and truck. There were so many activities for kids (nice playground, putt putt golf, tetherball, basketball court, ping pong,). I loved having my coffee every morning on a swing at their large fire pit. Then, at night would visit with other campers around the fire. I enjoyed the non-denomination church service Saturday morning. The owners & staff were friendly and offered suggestions on activities. Because it is close to the interstate, you can hear the traffic noise when sitting outside, but not loud enough to prevent normal conversation.  We would definitely stay here again!

Convenient, clean, well run

Unfortunately we don't have much good to say about our short stay.

1) We paid for a 50 amp electric hookup but could only get 30 amp to work
2) The sewer hookup ran up hill
3) Hookups were at the front of the site which forced us to use 2 sewer hoses and stretch the electric cord to the max
4) The site (#B-7) was not at all level
5) The site was elevated and just yards from I-81. Traffic noise was awful.

We didn't use any of the facilities so can't comment on them.

The only positives were that it had easy acess to the interstate (but too close for comfort) and that neighbors were quiet and the staff pleasant.

If we were to visit the area again we would stay elsewhere. 

Unhappy Visit 

Campground was easy to get to from highway. Wide open field with pull through sites. Pool was closed although temps still high 80 s and low 90s. Very clean restrooms and shower stalls, as well as laundry area.

Nice stopover

My family came here for a camping trip. Some of us came from NC, NJ, NY and VA. We chose this campground because of their amenities and location. A few good things about the place were it was relatively clean, very quiet and laid back. We enjoyed the pool and playground. The rec room appeared to be left open for use 24 hours which I thought was odd since there is no one around after hours. 
The negative: our teenage nephew was using the rec room and moved the fan a few inches. The fan broke and he asked for help to fix it. The lady proceeded to hand a minor a bill for the fan blade of $70. Not sure how a fan could break from moving it a few inches unless it was in poor condition. My nephew shouldnt have touched it so we were going to pay the bill, but since the owner did not speak to any adult about this my husband and sister went to the front to ask a few questions. As soon as my husband said I have a question the owner proceeded to yell at him and was extremely rude, which my sister asked for her to change her tone as they were not there to argue and were going to pay it. (Cash was visably in his hand). The lady continued to go on and yell while my sister explained the rec room was open to the public  with no signs saying not to move anything . Since the owner was clearly defensive and appearing to take advantage of the situation my husband and sister left while the lady followed them out the door yelling. She then requested my sister leave her property. Let it be known my sister did not curse or yell and only responded with the same tone as the owner began and continued with. My sister was leaving anyway so it didn't matter. However the lady on her high horse calls the state police to escort my sister off the campground. Mind you she was not being a problem and was peacefully leaving. They then would not let her leave until they ran her license. My sister and husband are both veterans of the military . We were friendly and peaceful the entire time we stayed at this campground and didn't deserve the treatment or taken advantage of. I would be careful coming here as you may be charged for something that was not your fault . We won't be coming back 

Very rude

This campground is very clean and well kept.  Have stayed here several times and staff is very friendly and accommodating.  Would definitely recommend this campground if you are in the area.  About 30 miles to Shenandoah National Park and pretty close to Luray Caverns. 

Campground

Newer campground. Bathhouse was clean and showers were roomy. Both 30 and 50 amp service. Nice dog run. Sites had fire ring and picnic table. Adequate space between sites. Staff was friendly and helpful. Campground has a camp store, snack bar and a pool. Would definitely stay again. 

Great overnight stop

Close to I 81. Quick on and off. Can hear traffic but not bad.

Graveled sites, level and good hook ups. Quiet with exception of traffic noise.

Store has coffee, ice cream and other items.
Clean restrooms. 

Great Spot for Overnight

Stayed over Labor Day weekend. Very clean and friendly staff. Well stocked store. Would stay agin if in the area or even if I need a place to stop overnight. It is just off the highway. Bathrooms very clean.

Nice campground 

I booked our 4 days a month in advance not thinking this was Labor Day weekend and I was put into the better pull through: P-2. Great location for utilities with 50amp service. Gravel pad, picnic table and fire ring on site. 

Friendly staff who explains all activities scheduled. They have several events scheduled for guests including music show and hog roast. 

Price is very reasonably priced and the park is fairly new and modern. Pool is small but very enjoyable. I would stay here again if in the area.
