Built in 1838 this historic home is so beautiful.  The rooms are large and the beds so comfy. Parking is tight but doable. I loved the sitting areas. A great quiet place to rest.  I’ll be back. Nice work!  The gardens are amazing and are a must see during your visit

Beautiful and Historic

This is a lovely b&b in a truly majestic building. Glenda was a lovely hostess, the decor is amazing, and the breakfast was delicious. (If you’ve read any previous reviews, we had absolutely no issues with the personnel nor cleanliness—everything was terrific.) Our only minor complaints were that our bathroom was very basic and really tiny, and the tv was miniature too. 😂 Neither of these things were significant though, and we’d cheerfully stay there again.

Lovely B&B

We loved the the Allegiance. Glenda, Steve and Caroline were so welcoming and friendly that we felt like we were visiting family. I fell in love with the historical details and the charm of the house. It’s quirky in places but beautiful and gracious and every room was a unique experience. Breakfast was delicious every day and it  was huge portions. I felt spoiled every day.   The gardens were beautiful and the porches just lent themselves to hanging out. We booked all the rooms for family to stay for our sons wedding and it was a fabulous relaxing  week. I was sad to leave actually. But we will  go back!!  

Magical place

Breakfasts were delicious. We never met nicer hosts! Our room was beautiful! Sitting downstairs in front of the fire with coffee and a great book was the perfect way to start my day!
To top it off there was wonderful music playing throughout the B and B!

Perfect stay

If you are going to visit Letchworth State Park, you must stay in this super-adorable B&B. The historic home has been lovingly restored and is absolutely charming ... a step back in time. Our room (Rochester) was beautifully decorated and light and airy, and the bathroom was bigger than I expected. Everything was clean and comfortable and the breakfasts, made and served to you by the owners, are innovative and delicious.

You must stay here!

Historical mansion near downtown Mt.Morris. A real show piece of early 19th century craftsmanship. Comfortable accommodations, relaxing  atmosphere. Breakfast was first rate, eggs benedict were perfect. Close to the Mt.Morris entrance for Letchworth park.

Historical elegance

We loved our stay here. The house is so beautiful. We spent time in all the common rooms downstairs, which had been lovingly restored to their former glory.  The front veranda is a wonderful place to have a drink, read a book or just relax in the sun. Glenda is friendly and accommodating. Couldn't ask for more from an Innkeeper. Breakfast each day was a feast! We so enjoyed our stay here. The location, in walking distance to downtown Mt. Morris, and at the northern entrance to Letchworth State Park, is perfect.

Gorgeous mansion and wonderful innkeepers

My girlfriend wanted to stay on Letchworth Property but I was never sold on that due to cost and other concerns.  So we looked around and came across this place which is right downtown and nicely priced.  There are a number of rooms to choose from and I liked the Livingston room (each room is themed and all have there good sides).  This room, like the name, gives way to a Safari theme with various Elephant, Giraffe and other like items designed by the hostess.  This is the only room without a TV but also the only one with a hot tub which I'll take any day.  The room was a bit tight but the toilet/sink was sort of like a closet area but with enough room.  In the hot tub, we had a nice view of the full moon and lots of bubbles with some of the bath items left.  The room has one dresser, a night stand, a nice wicker chair and comfortable bed.

Outside in the hall was a place to get ice and a mini-fridge to store drink.  A door to the front side balcony was also right there with a couple of chairs to sit.

All the rooms are on the floor so unless you can climb stairs, you might want to check out other places.

Downstairs in this redone mansion and 4 rooms for guests.  One has some bookcases and a chess table set up.  Next to that is a room with more bookcases, comfy sofas and chairs and a piano among other items to look at.  Cross the hall and you can a room with fire place, a bathroom, a Monopoly game table and more books.  Lastly is the dining area which the hostess makes a nice breakfast every morning which was very enjoyable along with some juices, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal and scones and other items like syrup and ketchup for starters.

Outside of the front of the house are two sitting areas on the deck which wooden chairs with padding and a nice rocking chair.  Around one side is a grill and in the back there is an area with a pond (with frogs , fish and birds) and a grassy area where on can play frisbee or toss a football.  Some of the area here is a bit rundown in the one garden area but the rest was nice and cozy.  There were a lot of flowers too.

Parking is up front and around the side of the building.  Doors are locked at night but they give you the code and a key to get in so don't lose them.

I didn't see the host much except check in and breakfast and he seemed in good spirits.  His wife was very nice and polite and so was the cleaning couple who showed off some of the rooms and gave me little tidbits about the design.

While a few things in the garden could be spruced up, we had a great stay with cozy room, the nice hot tub, delicious breakfasts and just exploring the place and grounds.  I would stay here again in a heart beat.

I had never stayed in a Bed & Breakfast before and this raised a high bar.

Had a wonderful stay in this charming place

The bed and breakfast was beautiful. The hostesses were warm and welcoming.  We felt like we were at home.  Loved sitting outside on the huge porch in rocking chairs. The breakfast were delicious.  It was nice meeting other travelers as well.  It was close to Letchworth State park and the trails there. We’re gorgeous with the fall leaves and the waterfalls.  We highly recommend

Great place to stay

Had a great 4 night stay at the Allegiance Bed and Breakfast!  Peaceful location with beautiful countryside and quaint little towns nearby.  Delicious breakfast and place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.  Room was clean and well decorated.  Would definitely recommend!
