My wife and I arrived late in the evening and when we got to our room the TV wouldn't work so I followed the instructions on the back of their remotes to fix the issue with no luck so my wife and i went down to ask for help because no one would answer the front desk to find the person was outside yelling at someone on his phone. I told him we needed help and told he the person on the phone that he had to go deal with some stupid customers and then walks right in the door I'm holding open for him and says what do you need?! So I told him about the TV and the man throws up his arms and loudly says I don't have any idea how to fix a TV so all I can suggest is to follow the setup instructions on the back of the remote so I told him that I've already done this and he said we'll i don't know what to tell you bud. We then proceeded back upstairs to head to bed and we found blood on the blanket. We took the blanket off and i then asked for another room only to be told there were no more and that my money couldn't be refunded so we grabbed our own blankets and sheet from our car and went to sleep. We wake up the next morning pack up and go back down to the front desk and i told them all of this and they said all they can refund me is $20 so instead of arguing I said you can do that and I'll get ahold of corporate for the rest of money then she prints a receipt and we left. Instead of adding $20 she takes away $250 plus the $129 originally paid for the room from my card 15 minutes later. I call back and ask and they say our house keeper just found cigarette butts and ashes in your room and My wife and I don't even use tobacco. I've now spent over 6 hours of the last few days trying to reach someone with corporate with no answers just hours of being on hold.  Please doyourself and favor and stay somewhere else these people are scammers.

Do not stay at the muskogee location

I am the office manager of a company here in Muskogee.  We often have workers from out-of-town, including H2B Workers from Mexico.  Our workers first stayed here because of the location to the office.  However, after the first experience, I will book rooms here every time.  The front desk and the Director of sales, Debbie,  have gone above and beyond each time we have had workers stay here.  And the workers are very pleased with their rooms, having the kitchenette helps to save them money, as well as just being able to relax when they get off of work after a long hard day.  
This facility is perfect for our needs.  
I recommend it highly.

Out-of-town workers

Currently operated as Candlewood Suites, this is a decent cheap hotel for those with pets. The room was pretty clean, though heavily scented with something. Good blackout curtains and comfortable bed. The front door entrance was attractive. The old signage took up one handicapped parking spot. The hall carpeting was in need of a good vacuum. The back door near our room remained littered with trash throughout our stay. The lobby coffee dispenser was out of service or something. It only created light brown water. Brightly lit parking lot. 


Needs attention

I recently stayed twice at the Studio 6 in Muskogee and will again. It was clean, convenient, the staff are very polite and friendly. My pets were welcomed, and the rate was appropriate for my purpose.

If looking to stay in Muskogee OK, do not confuse the normal Motel 6 with this Studio 6 property. The Studio 6 is clean, fresh, and safe feeling with well lit parking lot. I am not saying anything negative about the Motel 6 there, as I have not stayed there, but the Studio 6 is a different experience. We had stayed here before on business and found it nice, but the staff informed us it was under new management and they were very helpful. The rooms have bamboo type flooring, nice size, work area, full kitchen, good lighting. So, friendly staff, clean property, nice room, and well lit parking area will get me every time for a business stop here. Reasonable rates too.
Studio 6’s are a totally different experience from Motel 6.

Not your normal Motel 6 experience

I booked a two queen bed room for five weeks and from the first day to the last day there was not any on demand hot water!  the very first night i complained that there was no hot water at all and i was told nobody could do anything till the next day, every day it was another excuse and it was not like i had the time to deal with it , I was there to work a job from 5 am to late hours 7 days a week. 
When they finally got some hot water you had to wait 15 minutes before it would begin and five minutes later it would all be gone. I wanted to be gone myself but my work is so intense I just cant pick up and move out. Twice they locked me out of my room and stated the computer shows you have moved out which i had not, the second time the same clerk that took my money the day before gave me the same lame answer. 
These people that own and run this hotel knew that they had no hot water and did not even tell me up front . WHAT A SCAM THEY ARE RUNNING
I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN AND I GO TO MUSKOGEE FOUR TIMES A YEAR TO WORK.
JUST ACROSS THE ROAD FROM THIS JOINT IS FAIRFIELD INN THEY ARE A EXTENDED STAY AND WHERE I WILL STAY FROM NOW ON AND I SUGGEST ANY ONE ELSE DO THE SAME.

Hot Water everywhere but none in this hotel

The beds were comfortable & it was clean, but that was about all that was good about this place. It is supposed to be an extended stay hotel, but there is no way to spend even one good night there without a hair dryer, shampoo or any other amenities. What is the point of a stove if there is no dishes? Not even a plastic spoon or a paper bowl. There isn't but four hangers. Small rooms, no comfortable chairs. Road noise.  The lights were out in the elevator, it was like stepping into a haunted house. Way to dark for safety. I can't imagine staying here for more than one night! And when we tried to check in I was told I would have to wait, because they were doing shift change. So the family had to wait in the car with the engine running for 15 min's. Then I had to say my name three times then spell it.  Then I had to look at the print out myself to find our room assignment! NO CLUE how to run a motel!!

Warning, no shampoo, hair dryer, dishes, breakfast etc.

Reserved a room over phone with a very nice lady. Check in fairly easy. When my friend arrived we went to dinner and returned to a room with cockroaches all over kitchen. Under toaster, coffeemaker etc. In a container of cookies which I took to front desk. Very rude lady stated "if it's not one f#&@ing thing it's another." We packed, asked for refund and were told only mgr could do that. Called hotel 5 times and never talked to mgr. Called G6 Hospitality and credit card company.  Got refund a month later. Great concept, HORRIBLE management and customer service.

Cockroaches

My daughter's and I visit the Renissance Faire in Muskogee every year. We also plan an annual girl's trip.  This hotel was perfect for our needs.  The room was spacious and very clean. It still smells like new paint. The beds were very comfortable and we were even rewarded with a 15% off coupon for breakfast at IHOP. The management went out of their way to provide us with extra coffee and were very accommodating. I will check out these hotels in the future based on the wonderful experience we had in this one.
 

Loved it!

This new property is clean and conveniently located, and is priced competitively. I chose our stay here because of the kitchen and the price.  However, the kitchen was not equipped with any utensils.  When I asked the 2nd day, the proprietor went to the back and brought out a cardboard box with the bare essentials, along with a dish drainer stacked on top of the box.  We then carried the box to our 3rd-floor room. (There was no dish washing detergent nor cloth nor drying towel) Need a hairdryer?  Bring your own.  Need facial tissue?  Bring your own.  The motel is located on Hwy 69 which has lots of trucking traffic 24/7.  If you decide to stay at this place, do yourself a favor and ask for a room on the back side of the hotel.  And bring your own amenities.
