We’ve stayed at the Regency multiple times as well as other condominiums, but we always go back to the Regency….Great location, great amenities, great service, large condos, assigned parking, and very clean overall…I highly recommend 🙏

Never stay anywhere else in Myrtle Beach

It was old and nasty. The stove numbers were faded and I couldn’t tell what I had it set on. The microwave was terrible. There were dishes in the dishwasher when we got there. There were no plastic bowls just tops. There was a cracked glass pot in the microwave. No electricity except in the kitchen and bathrooms. Had to use lamps. The chandelier was even plugged in. The only thing this place has going for it was it was on the beach. We paid over $300 a night to stay there. More than I’ve ever paid for the worst I’ve ever stayed. Never again. 

Worst I’ve ever stayed. 

We visit MB every year. It has become a tradition and so far we have stayed at 4 different places to get a feel for what we want. We seem to have found a winner. Although there are other places that have more amenities (no lazy River or bar/restaurant here) the location, value for your money and size of room are what will keep us coming back. Not to mention the staff was great! 
We arrived on a Wednesday, which cuts down on heavy check in traffic and we were allowed to get into our room way before check in time because of this. We rented a 3 bedroom unit because it’s my husband, myself, one son and his girlfriend and one single son. (Ages 21 & 19).
We were in unit 1207. The unit is HUGE! There is plenty of room for everyone. The 3rd bedroom has a double bed and 2 twin beds and a little side area so it’s not cramped with 3 beds in there. The second bedroom has a queen bed and also has plenty of room to walk around. The master bedroom has a king bed and a sitting area. It is a huge room with an en suite bathroom. The kitchen is well appointed and has everything you’ll need for an extended stay. There’s even a vacuum which was super helpful when you inevitably track sand in. The living room is huge and the balcony is as well. We don’t know how or if the TV’s work in the rest of the unit because the only one we ever used was in the master. With all that said, if you are super picky, I’ll give you what some may consider “con’s” about this unit. 
The washing machine is loud and squeaks. The dryer takes 2 cycles to dry everything. (Did not overload with 5 beach towels and clothes. We had 4 bathing suits in the dryer and they didn’t dry the first full cycle.) 
Although some updates have been made, some areas are still a bit dated but it wouldn’t take much to upgrade. 
The dining area chairs are nice, but sketchy! They could use a few screws and some glue to make them more sturdy. I would worry if someone were over 200 lbs sitting in them. 
The master bathroom shower is really cool, and has been updated, but the opening is a bit tight. Again, a larger person may have a hard time with it. 
The wallpaper in the bathrooms needs to be updated or taken down and just painted. 
There are different floor coverings in every area. The master bedroom/bathroom alone have 4 different floors. The main carpet in that room needs to be replaced. It’s more like office carpet and it’s got some larger stains on it. 
You can not see or hear the ocean from the bedrooms in this unit, they are in the back of the unit and the only ocean view is from the balcony. 
The red chairs in the living room need the cushions replaced or maybe the chairs need to be replaced altogether. They are faded and stained. 
Although it seems like there are many “con’s” about this unit, I was just stating items that may be picked out as “unacceptable” to other more picky travelers. For just under $3k for 7 days, I think we got a great deal. If you book straight through Regency Towers, you can pick your unit. That’s not possible through a 3rd party booking…you are assigned a room when you get to the resort. 
Keep in mind that you will pay extra for an extra car as each unit has one assigned space. It may look like there are plenty of open spaces, but you must remember that some of the units are privately owned and the owner may not be there at that particular time but the space is still owned by that unit and is not available to the resort to give out as needed. There is no parking garage. The spaces are in a lot located in the front and sides of the resort. 
All in all, it’s a great place to stay. The staff is friendly and accommodating and we will be booking there again for next year.

Our stay was terrific,we had a little issue with the microwave but that was replaced with a brand new one with the hour.The rooms were nice and spacious the view was beautiful.we can’t wait to visit again next year

It was an excellent condo for our annual getaway. The view was stunning and the staff were jamb up and very friendly 😊 We are going to make the Regency our annual place to stay when we come down from Indiana for the Grace Summit/vacation

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Parking was a bit crammed and our car got dinged as we were parked right next to stair and beach shower. As we have kids we may look for a place with a few more amenities next trip. 

Nice accomadations

Very clean. Front desk and manager are outstanding. We have stayed at Regency for 44 yrs. Units are nicely decorated and well equipped. Outside areas are slways clean.  Very safe.  Beach is clean. Grills are nice.

Wouldn't stay anywhere else

Very clean and  such a Quiet place to stay. Staff is always polite. If you need to get a way to the beach and relax this would be the place to stay! Short walk to the ocean. Clean pool and hot tubs. Wonderful place to vacation. 

Perfect beach get away. 

Our family has been coming to Regency Towers for over 20 years. It is a great facility that provides excellent  short and long term accommodation for couples and families.   The large two and three bedroom units are very comfortable and come with well appointed kitchens making it great for family get togethers.  The beach is awesome.  The patio deck is bright and clean and very comfortable and the pool is  heated and covered  from early November  through the winter.
When something breaks  in the condo repairs are completed immediately. You have only to mention the problem to the friendly front desk staff.  We look forward to our next stay here.
