Great place!! Great Staff!! Beds are super comfy and a hot breakfast. We stay everytime we play a show in town. For the price this hotel will get it done. The Innkeeper and her daughter are super cute and it's just a great place to stay right on the main drag it gets it done. I highly recommend. Will be back thanks for a great stay.

This hotel is lacking to say the least.. sadly it could be so much more but the new management just doesn't seem to care neither does the staff.

Front desk was there upon arrival (never saw again for 2 days). The entry and stairs looked as though they have not been vacuumed in weeks. Vending machine is still broken.

My room looked ok for $65 a night, ceiling flaking, cracking, hole patched in bathtub, just old and beat up.. but farther inspection I found a very dirty microwave, fridge, pee on toliet seat and a dirty bathtub. I when to tell front desk, she took to another room amd ask if that one was better.. upon inspection of the microwave it was dirty as well (which I showed her) and the bathtub was dirty and still had standing water.  I explained I would just clean my own room but she should do something about this room or she would be getting another complaint im sure. She apologized but no mention of credits or reimbursement. I was well aware for the price it wasn't going to be perfect but this was a bit Interesting to say the least. 

The nights where pretty quiet thank goodness because I could tell the walls were thin. Over the next few days (including a Friday night) I realized the front desk and probably all personnel actually lived on site and that was probably why I didn't get my king size room because there was only a handful of people coming and going.

Sheets and towels from other rooms where left in hall way for 2 days and never saw a cleaning  crew, your bed will consist of minimal coverings 

Breakfast was as many have already explained.. coffee, juice, pancake maker, gravy mix that was the same leftovers the next day reheated in crackpot, apples, cereal boxes, yogurt, some microwaveable Jimmy Dean sandwiches and prepackaged muffins.

I think they just don't care

Excellent service!!! Very clean!!  Staff is very helpful,  quick to satisfy there customers.  Made my trip to Columbus very worth while. I stayed for weeks. Very quiet. I work nights and my day time sleep was never disturbed!!! Thank u so much to the staff for a great stay!!!!

Check-in was quick and socially safe. The staff at this hotel was amazing! The front desk and cleaning staff went above and beyond. Additionally, our room was great. Will recommend it to anyone who asks!

Side door didn't work and broken glass all over.
Small computer desk with no near light or plug
Not enough towels or washcloths.

A Little Outdated

Everything about this place was fantastic!! Great friendly service as soon as we walked in the door.The room was extremely clean and comfortable,I have stayed at several hotels in Fremont, NE and I highly recommend Victorian inn.

Visited Nebraska with a friend for the first time and we both loved our stay at nice quiet Victorian inn where we got quality rest after a long drive.
Cozy rooms, comfy beds, friendly stuff, most important it’s a pets friendly hotel, so my pup could travel with me. Very nice! Thank you guys for making our stay with you smooth and pleasant!
Definitely we’ll be back!

Old dried blood on the comforter. No thanks. 👎 I would not stay here. In fact, we didn’t. We moved to another hotel when it became available. I suggest you stay elsewhere. Very dated, not clean, and non working ice machines, but really the comforter was very gross.

This place is gross

It is an older hotel. It was clean. Employees were very friendly and helpful. We were there with a ball team for a tournament. We had gotten rained out and they allowed us to have the Breakfast room to be able to have a place large enough for the boys and the parents so they could have pizza while waiting to see if they were going to play that night. I would recommend it to anyone.

This was our first visit to this motel.  At first I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the facility.  My husband and I were exhausted when we got in so I didn't do my usual "inspection" of the bed when we first pulled back the sheets to relax before showering.  After showering however, I did take a closer look.  To my absolute disgust, the bed in the room we had chosen was full, and I do mean full, of short, black hairs.  I pulled the top sheet all the way down, and the hair continued.  I called the front desk to report the problem.  The attendant was very nice and came back to see for herself.  She was equally appalled and offered to switch us to another room.  By this point, we were completely unpacked, showered and ready for sleep and had already checked the other bed in the room which was clean.  We opted to stay in the room rather than pack up and move since there was a clean bed in the room.  I didn't sleep well, though, as the heebie jeebies were creeping me out and the bed was very hard and uncomfortable.  The attendant said she would speak with the owner the next day.  Both she and the morning girl, also very nice, did so.  Mike, the proprietor of the hotel, failed to call us twice as had been promised.  We were hoping for just a partial refund.  He maintained we didn't deserve ANY compensation since we were offered a different room.  I disagree, since the damage had been done and we had lain unclothed on the hairy bed already.  We were not seeking a full refund, but some sort of discount seemed fair.
