Place is totally sketchy and a dump. This needs to be sold, demolished and rebuilt. Nothing was clean, roaches everywhere. Shower curtain was probably the original one from 30 years ago and never washed. We booked two nights only stayed one we had to leave or the roaches would have feasted on us.

Absolutely horrible! Would not want my worst enemy to even stay here.

Squalid deathtrap. No exaggeration. Knew something was off during checkin. After a long wait the owner checked me in using his paper ledger because the internet was down. He then walked me to the room and proceeded to demo the lights and TV, explaining that there was no light in the bathroom and that I'd have to drag a floor lamp across the room and position it close to the bathroom entry. It appeared one or more outlets were also out of commission because the appliances were hooked up to a single multi prong outlet adapter. Not a safe looking set up. I specifically requested a non-smoking room but was provided one that reeked like an old bowling alley. The shower had no hot water and no pressure. Curtains had visible holes. The two towels I was provided had permanent yellow and gray stains on them. Once I inspected the bed more closely, that's when I realized it was time to flee. There was no way I would sleep a wink under, on or anywhere near that filthy looking bedspread. I believe the owner is operating this place as a flophouse, renting rooms on a weekly basis to people who are down on their luck. I usually do my due diligence when selecting lodgings but boy did I mess this one up. $47 flushed down the crapper but now I’m in a clean safe room at the Days Inn just down the street. I fear for any hapless traveler who makes the mistake I did but can’t afford to flee elsewhere.

Squalid deathtrap

I was in this Hotel in May 30 2020 and the room dirty and a lot of roaches. And the Administration do not have courtesy and have Bad Actitud and he said "I don't care" I don't recommend this garbage hotel is locate in 1910 Needle HWY Needle California

Disgusting Hotel

DO NOT STAY HERE! Worst of the worst. First, the room smelled. I was told this was their best and nicest room. Second, the bed cover was dirty with white stains, (you can guess), third the circuit breaker tripped in the bathroom area. The maintenance man went to the breaker box and tried to turn the power back on but the lights kept flickering and there was a buzzing noise and this was never resolved. I was afraid it would cause a fire. Fourth, no TV remote and no way to use the TV manually. Fifth and the last straw, the door would not close and there was no way to lock it. I packed up and tried to phone the manager to get my money back but couldn't as he was running around the building trying to patch all the other problems that were happening. I then call the hotel phone number and it went to voice mail that was full, so no message left. I then went to the website and left an email and never heard back. As a woman travelling alone with my dog this is TOTALLY unacceptable. I expect a hotel to supply the basics and this place did not. STAY AWAY! This is a no star.

Be afraid, stay away

Everything is trashy, Internet is not working at all, rooms fornitures are quite good but dirty. The motel position is awful, under the highway. No pool. Personal which barely speak...english.
Not that much to say to complete the review: stay away from it.

Dirty, ad smell and awful personal

Dont waste your $, he tricks you with nice pictures online but the place is nasty.  Takes your $ and the conditions are so disgusting that you cant stay there. And then tells you he has a no refund policy.  There is a hand written not taped to the wall of the office that says no refunds.  
We checked out 3 separate rooms and none were acceptable.  The first room had bugs on the bed visible from just standing in the doorway.  The 2nd room i could barely breath the smell was so bad from mold. The mgr said oh yeah there is a water leak, then taps his nose and says 'little smell'  um no HUGE smell and i have asthma so i cant sleep in a mold filled room. The 3rd room was dirty, i peeled back one small corner of the comforter and top sheet, the bottom sheet in just the corner i looked had HUGE brown stains and the pillows were nasty, flat and yellow!  
NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!

Disgusting! Not Acceptable for humans or animals!

The room looked fine until we went into the bathroom.   Cockroaches in the bath.....we then opened the fridge (it was off) and out from underneath scuttled at least a dozen more cockroaches in varying sizes.  The bed was fine and the location quiet.....however this has to be one of our worst ever experiences.

Our motor home broke down and had to stay in Needles for 9 days.  We did not have a vehicle to get around so other than staying in motor home every night we stayed in a couple hotels.  We wanted to stay in hotel for weekend. Looking through hotels on phone and made reservation.  Less then a hour later tried to contact Desert Marage to cancel do to being told this hotel on other side of town.  Tried to get someone to answer phone several times with no answer and messages were full.  Called booking.com to canceled and he could not reach either.  He said he would note my call.  Desert Marage charged our card for a room anyway saying I did not cancel within 24 hours. Believe me when we finally left town went by Desert Mirage Inn and Suites and it was a dump.  There are a few great hotels in Needles, pick one of those!

Rip Off

This has to be the WORST place I have ever not stayed. We asked the manager if there was a WalMart because we needed a couple things, he said no, and sent us to a market literally 20 miles away (we passed a WalMart on the way and stopped). We get back and have a couple perishable items, open frig and it's warm, realize not plugged in so my husband moves it forward a couple inches to get to the power strip and plug it in and roaches run out! There was an overwhelming smell of something in the room, bug spray maybe? So we immediately put our belongings back in the car and I see the manager looking through the window of the office watching us. We go back to the front door where you need to ring a bell, I'm assuming to keep all the crack heads and other sketchy people out who are hanging around the parking lot, and now he doesn't answer! We wait along with another unhappy customer for more than 5 minutes and still nobody comes to the door. A woman with no pants on walks past us, unbelievable!  I call my credit card co right away, so no worries there, they were horrified by what I was telling them. I sent an email to the property telling them the issue and that we dropped the key in the slot, called, no answer and mailbox is full, and phone number listed online is disconnected!!! It appears any decent reviews were YEARS ago, DONT GO THERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, you will be safer in your car. We ended up pushing on 2 more hours to Barstow and stayed in a lovely place.
