WELLS, NV Sharon Motel
From the outside it looks like a very modest, old fashioned drive up motel. The room is very nice but small  with a microwave, fridge with freezer compartment.  The AC is very effective but I had to stand on a chair to adjust it.  There is a small, very low table (maybe the height of an end table) and chair.  Everything was fresh and clean. There is grass nearby for dog walking.  The manager, Hope, gave me great directions to Angel Lake and a restaurant named Betasos, very modest but good food.

Old fashioned, pet friendly drive up to your door motel

First-rate small-town motel, the kind we’re always looking for and rarely find. The room was spotless, attractively decorated, the bathroom fixtures appeared brand new. Fridge, freezer, microwave, one-cup coffee maker, luggage stand, and parking right outside our room. Slatted shades give privacy but allow natural light in the room. Truly a very pleasant stay. We had good fish and chips and margaritas at Betaso’s. Recommend you sit in the bar with the locals. Great stay in Wells.

What a find in Wells!

Cool old motel, very cool funky old hen runs it, she is great.
I bit dated but very clean, shower was good, my bed was 4 days old and fabulous, fridge/ freezer, microwave, big screen, good AC.
 They will accomodate MC washing if you ask, you can park your MC (or car) in front of your room, it is not close to food/restaurants, but Wells isnt that big. I recommend.

Good clean motorcycle friendly motel

On our way from SFO to Yellow Stone this Motel was a stop in between. It was clean and okay nothing extraordinairy but based on the price it was ok. The check-in was quick and easy. Around the motel there is not much to do but for a short night it was ok.

Ok Motel

This sweet motel is proof that a small, quiet, family owned hotel in a place that may not be the ultimate destination for some, can be a million times better than the big corporation hotel with greater resources. In fact, The Sharon Motel goes beyond all that. This is truly a gem - a unique, super super clean, warm, cozy, home away from home experience.

The beds are insanely comfortable and the bathroom looks like someone checked it with a white glove! It sparkles! The decor is heartwarming. It feels like if my sweet great aunt had a hotel in her guest room, this would be it. I am in love with it. 

The fridge is better than any of those fridges in the bigger chain hotels. It is not a full size, but it has a real freezer for my freezer packs, and there is enough room for me to fit my cold drinks and two salads. 

It is early May, so I can't speak to the heat o n mid-winter, but I am a naturally freezing cold person. I am always worried about being warm enough when staying in hotels. Hope checked me in ( she is a total delight and I love her sense of humor), and gave me a good tutorial on the heat. Let me tell you- I am super cozy and it is WARM in here. LOVE IT!

Shower pressure is good and towels are...Wow! Super white and luxurious. I always bring my own towels because I travel a lot for work (and they keep my travel budget low)  and have been burned one too many times. This was a rare occasion that I actually had to use the room's towels because they were so white and soft!

Like I said, I am traveling for work and just passing through for the night, b ut I wish I could stay here longer. This is a great hotel and I really just want to hug the owners for having such heart and such pride in their property. It is a gem, gem,gem. 

Yes, I am going to stay here when I have to drive back through, but maybe I'll stay an extra night just for fun! Don't let the 'old school' exterior freak you out. This is an excellent property and if you like clean, and home-y this is your spot.

A Gem of a Place Nestled in Wells, NV!

Overnight  stay. Price was right. Room is dated but it was very clean & comfortable.  Lots of space, sparsely furnished. Fridge & microwave were handy to have. Bed was a little too soft but that’s my preference. Did not hear any trains after 9 pm. We would stay again.

The Room Had No Heat... The lady explained when we checked in that the heat was a Cadet heater... It didn't work very well... We cranked it as high as it would go - two hours later the room was maybe 50 degrees... The lady said we could have an extra blanket...  the lady said we could get an extra space heater...  Good Grief - this is a motel not a camp-out...
We just packed our stuff and left. $94. down the tubes...
What a waste - have no idea how this place ever got any good ratings.

The room had no neat...

Room was newly renovated.  Very clean and non-smoking.  Bed was comfortable.  It was very quiet and could not hear anything from the rooms on either side of mine.  The staff were friendly and I would stay here again.

Very pleasant experience

We were travelling from Las Vegas to Portland and after a very long drive and tiring drive had a very comfortable night's rest... the beds and linen were clean and very comfortable. A cosy well furnished room with clean toilet. Absolutely loved it 😍

Comfortable Overnight Stay

Great nights sleep. The place is really quiet. The beds were comfy. Place was clean and smelled great and we had a pet friendly room. The front desk lady was super nice and check in was quick and painless.
