This is actually the Royal Inn (now).
We chose this because it was the only decent looking motel around that could accommodate a large party. 
It's a courtyard style motor inn. The rooms looked clean enough although, tiny and cramped. No breakfast. 
Great location near the old towne square and the price is right. 

Cramped room but great location.

I have traveled a lot but this was the only place where I've felt scared. I booked it because there was nothing else. There were all these  people hanging out in the parking lot when I arrived. I mean, hanging out, not unpacking their cars, etc. It was not in the best area and is a motor court. A few of these people watched me go in, so I felt uncomfortable. The manager stayed in a back room and did not seem to keep an eye on the property. The room was poor--later the heat/thermostat wasn't working so he handed me a space heater! Later I came out  and three people were sitting on a bench smoking next to my door. ...when I came back in, one guy glared at me!  It was horrible. I skipped the second night and went to a holiday inn about 30 miles down the road.

Horrible

I was forced by terrible weather and illness to stay at another motel last October, having made a good-faith reservation at this one.  I called immediately when I got to the other room, c. 8:30 pm, so they knew they did not have to hold the room all night.  But they would not remove the charge from my credit card.  Even tho' I stayed at another motel belonging to their chain.  Phooey.

Over-charge

This hotel is DISGUSTING! Do not stay here cockroaches in rooms!! Mold all over the shower. We saw the room and roaches and decided we should not stay here management refused to refund our money. Terrible customer service. Do not risk bringing roaches home stay somewhere else!!

HORRIBLE

OK for a one-night stay near our ultimate destination. We arrived at the earliest check-in time, and the room had just been cleaned - strong smell of bleach in the room, and bathroom floor and fixtures were wet; excess furniture polish on the nightstand. Limited free cold breakfast. (We visited Claremont Country Cafe for breakfast.) WiFi was down when we returned later in the evening; we didn't bother calling to report it.

Adequate for a night

Very friendly and helpful staff clean rooms as well as close to the interstate as well as gas food an other amenities. It is also quiet and close to work me. Deffinetly the place I go when I stay in the area.

Great place

This two star hotel was comfortable and the desk clerk very helpful as I was seeking a place to stay on an unexpectedly busy weeknight. I was able to rest well. He assured me the police station was just down the street, so the accommodations are quite safe for solo travelers. 

Clean and accessible.

The Rode way Inn is a very good place to stay if you're looking for a place to sleep.  The picture seen on the 
"Choice Hotels.com was more inviting then when we saw it live, but I would stay again, the room was clean, the staff was pleasant and the bed was easy to sleep on.

Need sleep

This was the nastiest motel I’ve ever stayed at and I’ve stayed at more hotels/motels/Airbnb’s than I can even count. Disgustingly dirty! The floors made my kids feet black, the comforter had ? on it, the bathroom still had dirty towels over the shower bar, the lamps were barely standing, the bed was terrible! Take my advice, if ever in Claremont, NH, sleep in your car! Bleck! I still feel dirty. 

Disgusting!

we checked into this motel against my feeling it was not going to be good. When we pulled into the parking lot, 2 windows in one unit were broken with a sign that said do not touch. When we were led to our room, the front desk staff accompanied us to make sure nothing was missing.??!! After he left, we looked around, and decided the condition of the room was unacceptable. The bathroom looked dirty, there were stains and cigarette burn marks on the bedspreads, and we could see the outside through a large gap in the outside door, and we just didn't feel safe staying here, especially after seeing the broken windows in another unit. The front desk staff did offer us a different room, but we politely declined and asked for a refund. This is the first time in my life I have left a motel without staying. The pictures on their website make it look much better than reality.
