This hotel is conveniently located to several key places in the Hanover/Lebanon area of New Hampshire. Rooms are clean, well equipped and comfortable. Each morning there is a buffet breakfast, though comprehensive it is enough to satisfy a busy traveler. Each evening the hotel offers complimentary beer and wine and bar treats. The staff is the major win for this hotel as they are more than willing to accommodate their guests and make the stay of their guests a comfortable one. I would recommend this Westin facility is you are in the area once their renovations are completed.

Business Traveler friendly

My husband and I have had a lot of appointments at Dartmouth lately and we live a ways away. With the snow and distance we occasionally stay over somewhere. We stayed here one night. It was nice and modern and clean. Really my only complaint was the platform bed. I banged my shin on its corner so many times. And they only had Pepsi products:(

Ok place- clean

I stayed here one night over Thanksgiving weekend. My son and I were headed to the Killington Cup race.

I found this new hotel to be kind of sterile. No carpeting or rugs, sort of like a warehouse with rooms. Our room had a strange layout. It had a king bed with a pullout couch end to end and the orientation of the bed and couch left no room to move around the bed area. The room had a kitchen but too much space was allotted to the kitchen. The floor was a wood laminate but no rugs. 

Price was right but I should have done the Courtyard.

Adequate

This was a happenstance and what a wonderful find it was!  I have traveled extensively and am quite fussy.
The hotel was clean, well located, beautiful, great amenities and room had full size fridge, microwave, stovetop, pots pans plates etc etc!!  Was thrilled.  Great grocery store minutes away - convenient and great for late night eating/snacking.  We made popcorn as we were watching the Football game.  Wonderful and attentive staff.
Shout out to Katie from the kitchen who was an absolute gem.

Wonderful place to stay with amazing customer service

Just out of town, still love this place. Breakfast format has changed but still good healthy choices, staff still friendly and accommodating, nice spacious rooms, indoor pool! Road noise during day. Pet friendly!!

The Element can't be beat !

Stayed here on a visit to Dartmouth.  Very pleased with the spacious rooms - had 2 queen beds, couch, kitchen area, and large bathroom.  Fitness center was well-equipped.  Breakfast was better than your average free breakfast buffet.  Particularly liked the yogurt bar, with fresh fruit and other toppings for the plain yogurt.  Housekeeping missed our room on one of our 2 nights, which was unfortunate.  Management gave us a discount at checkout to make things right.

Spacious rooms, Great breakfast

We had many people staying due to a wedding we were all attending so about 16 of us. We were there about 3 days and the hotel was so clean and accommodating. I spoke and met many staff members throughout our stay and all were very friendly. i loved the space the rooms had, terrific showers and fantastic breakfast each morning. Some of our party had to check in late(8 pm) due to over booking problems I guess they said but all in all it was a very comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel when in the area. 

Very Nice Stay

We stayed at this trendy hotel overnight for an Opera North performance.  Among this hotel's many features are van-pool parking, electric charging stations, pet friendliness, and- yes- its touting itself as a "sustainable" property.  My opinion is they have too many "van-pool" spaces- at least 20, yet too few electric car parking stations- only 2 I saw.  But at least there is ample off-street parking, and it is complimentary.  We had a "king bed" room.  it was a decent size room with a small kitchenette, which featured a refrigerator, microwave oven, and even a separate faucet for drinking water which was attached to a filter.  Very nice touch.  The trendy bathroom featured modernistic Kohler fixtures, including a really nice rain shower.  I especially liked the soap dispensers in the shower for body soap and shampoo. The air conditioning was quiet, and kept the room cool.  The room was clean, and the bedding was comfortable, although I had to double up on the soft pillows.  Even though our room faced the road, it still did a nice job of isolating us from street noise.  Our fourth floor room featured nice views as well.  We appreciated the blackout rolling shade, as well as the translucent shade.  I wished, however, the public hallways were cleaner- the hallway carpet had visible stains on it.  Nothing a good shampoo job wouldn't solve.  If I had one complaint about this hotel, it was the breakfast area.  The seating is grossly inadequate- and the tables were all "communal" tables.  Since the hotel is pet-friendly, one had to eat one's breakfast alongside families with dogs in tow. The offerings at the breakfast bar were good, however.  A high point is the yogurt bar, allowing one to fill a dish with fresh Greek yogurt, and mix in fresh fruit such as blueberries, strawberries, and add granola or nuts.  Those who like omelets can have these made with a variety of ingredients.  I wished there were a fresh pot of oatmeal, like what is available at other Marriott properties.  Instead, there were packets of instant oatmeal.  Plenty of fresh coffee and fruit juices.  Check-in and checkout were swift, and service was friendly. So, we might consider this as a place to stay the next time we go to Opera North.  But I wish they would provide more seating- and include seating for two-tables- in the breakfast area.

Our Stay At This Trendy Hotel

If you are looking for a place to sleep and shower, Element will meet those needs.  However, if you are looking for unstained sheets, a good complimentary breakfast and a warm atmosphere, Element is not for you. Our room was poorly lighted.  The brightest light came from the cars parked outside of our room.  There was a coffee machine without the carafe that is necessary to make coffee. But, there were coffee cups, coffee, stir sticks and sugars.  We do not recommend this hotel.
