Lovely polite owner and sweet kid, but honestly this place is A DUMP.
#12 had no hot water, broken fridge and a key that barely opened cheap door. Trash buckets outside with cigarette butts ... on and on..
Hope this place gets renovated. It truly is a dump and at $160 a night, not worth one cent..

A dump! 

Very friendly and welcoming!! Everything was very clean and nice!! Freshly remodeled with new floors. Highly recommend. 
We left a $10 tip because they didn't charge enough ❤️. They had a nice pool, play area and picnic area for familys. Family owned and the hospitality showed!!

Highly Recommend

En-route to NH we decided to stop our drive a bit early as we were a bit tired.
We'd stayed at the Maple Leaf Motel years ago and had found it to be a not bad budget option so we went to check it out.

To be succinct, I'll list our frustrations:
- No AAA, CAA, or other special rates 
- The hotel was empty and it was mid-week but the rate was crazy high (and I mean CRAZY)
- I had to tighten the screws on the hotel room door because it was falling off
- The fridge didn't work
- The heater didn't work
- The room wasn't very clean at all, obviously in need of work
- The sign in the room said "coffee in the morning at reception". When I went in the morning, no coffee ("we got rid of that during COVID")  Fine, then put a cheap $20 percolator in the room!

On the positive side:
- Seemed to be the same friendly guy who ran the place from years and years ago.  Nice guy!

For this absolutely nutty price during a totally LOW season date with almost zero demand, I expect a beautiful room with a darn cup of coffee. 

Will I ever return here? Never. I'd rather sleep in my car and buy myself a beautiful new pair of hiking boots instead for what it cost just to put our heads on a pillow for 8 hours.  I'm so disappointed because I wanted to love this place like we did years ago.

Absolutely RIDICULOUS price for a substandard room with no amenities

My first day there by myself the owner who i believed to be married, told me how large his penis was.
He  charged me 200 dollars to cash a check, and demanded that I tip him
 I prepaid for my laundry, and he didn't honor my payment.
He entered my room at 2am, and when I confronted him about it, he stated he could come in my room when he wanted.
The mattresses have huge blood stains on them--take the sheets off and look.
The housekeepers were a couple who indulged in intravenous drug use and took 100dollars from me.

Boycott this business please

We were 5 friends (2,2&1) on a 5 day mini vacation. We had stayed here approximately 8 years ago and liked the place. When we arrived at 3 PM our 3 reserved rooms were not ready. To speed up check in we agreed to pay while the rooms were being prepared. We did not have the ability to inspect the rooms before payment. Had we seen the rooms, we would not have checked in. When we gained access to the rooms, they smelled heavily of disinfectant, the rooms looked very old with minimal care to keep them updated. When advised of our decision that the rooms were unacceptable and we wanted our money back we were told they wouldn't do that. We are now working with out card companies to contest the charges. This is not advertised as a very high quality motel but one of us has slept in the jungles of Viet Nam and decided not to stay. If you want to stay here, and I don't recommend it, review the rooms before checking in.

Amazing little hotel, stayed for an extended period of time and had a more than pleasant experience.  They truly care about their guests and provide the highest level of service that they are able to.  They were nice enough to bring us all dinner or Christmas as many of us were without family for the holidays due to covid, I will never forget that gesture.  Aside from that, they have a pool, playground,horseshoes and even have several room types/setups from a small 1br to a 2br with a kitchenette.  Best motel in the Littleton area, clean, friendly and comfortable...

Great little motel in heart of the North Country

This motel is the worst place I have ever stayed at. Very unclean and disgusting! NOT worth the money at all. Left after one night. (Booked for 4 nights).

Photos say it all. I'm not particular, but I expect a somewhat clean and inviting room. (Dirty fridge and microwave, etc. are a deal breaker). Should've paid me to stay here!

Do yourself a favor... Don't stay here. 

(And the Priceline.com site did NOT inform that the money would not all be returned. The site did not note that between certain dates, one had to pay for at least two nights. And my credit card company sided with the motel... Even though I had the confirmation that didn't note any of this fact).

Worst place ever

The people are welcoming and the room (with kitchen) clean. There's a locked-in smell in the cabinets but that's the motels (aging) of the northeastern United States. That's what makes the charm, deliciously obsolete! The kitchen is quite equipped which reduces costs. I was there to go hiking in the White Mountains, so I could make my lunch for dinner and have my evening meal in peace. The motel is well located, next to the center of the beautiful town of Littleton but a little out of the way (so more quiet).

Recommended for a getaway to the white mountains!

The hotel is an old roadside hotel but one of the more reasonably priced in Littleton at $106 a night while the Hampton Inn was over $200.  When I got my charge to my credit card, it was higher than quoted in my reservation so I called and was told I was charged a fee for using a credit card.  I told them this was not disclosed when I made my reservation and when I checked in.  They said they would refund the charge, but it hasn't been refunded yet.  Buyer beware of this extra charge.

Old Hotel Close to Town

Not impressed.  No one picked up the phone so booked right booking.com.  least expensive place at 129. Worth 49.  Not many hotels had availability in the area.
When we arrived we waited and then the house keeper came over to check us in.  Room 14. 

Large room with a pullout couch and queen bed. Bed was comfy. Lousy pillows. Or more pillows?No extra blankets.
Close to main strip. Kitchen.  Slow wifi. 

Stank from cleaner.  Old insecure windows and not even a deadbolt on the door.  Felt insecure.   Had to leave the windows open to air out the smell.  

Floors are FILTHY. Should be cleaned this month.
Really needs an update. Better locks.  
Better service. Someone to answer the phones and greet guests.
